The goblins launched their attack as they tried to jump into our camp. The lousy moat we created made the goblins speed slow down as they were swimming towards the gate.
Those who got near the gate became sittings ducks, as some hogs near the gate used their tails in order to pierce those invading goblins. The goblins who reached and tried to climb the gate got impaled as well. Though not all goblins got impaled due to stat differences, those goblins were instead knocked back towards the lousy moat.
Those who managed to land inside the camp received hard snouts and got bashed when incapacitated, they were later on pierced in the middle of the throat, as per Jule's instruction. Jule noticed that damage dealt multiplies depending on where it hits.
The defense is distributed to your whole body but the proportions are not the same. Like our snouts which are harder and our bellies which are softer making them our weak spots.
What Jule observed from the fight was that goblins died every time she aims at their neck. Jule hit those goblins at their body but they won't die right away, so she aimed at different parts of their body until she discovered their weak point. She got all the test subjects since Chief kept making those damn goblins fall into the ground that night.
The goblins who noticed that the head onwards and attack strategy is not working so they tried to go at the open entrance since that was easier to access and they do not need to swim the lousy moat to get inside the camp.
But when the goblins went inside, The atmosphere changed as something was being absorbed into a particular direction. The pressure near the area intensified as pure mana was being gathered to a single point. A hog covered in blue aura was standing in front of the entrance way.
I purchased it.
Seeing its effect first hand really changed my mind of collecting CP.
"BURST!"
The rushing goblins evaporated as the blue energy hit them. The goblin Chief who saw me using the same skill he used to oppress me and his fellow goblins got a twisted face.
He immediately cast the same skill.
"CANNON!"
Since we are facing each other I might as well cast the same skill.
"CANNON!"
Though the Goblin Chief started the skill first, I really have no plan in channeling it to its maximum. After the minimal channel time required was met I released the skill right away as the Goblin Chief was flabbergasted to my action he released his skill as well, a little slower than mine.
"BURST!!"
The two pure mana energies were released at almost the same time as they collided with each other causing them to explode near the Goblin Chief since I released mine first. The weaker goblins near the explosion evaporated making the Goblin Chief's face spasm in anger.
Though pure mana is noisy and flashy it really does not affect a large area. Even the ground only got a lump on its surface. There was even no debris floating since the area that was affected the most was the area of impact. Almost everything disappeared as the blue energy dissipated.
The tough looking goblins who are guarding the Chief seems to be fine. It seems that the power of both our skills has a slight effect on them. The Goblin Chief stopped looking down on us and made a command in an angry shout.
"ATTACK ALL TOGETHER!"
He rushed forward leading towards the entrance as the goblins followed him.
Instead of worrying, the Hogs were instead smiling.
The Chief noticed the weird atmosphere and was about to command something when the ground they were standing on collapsed.
The goblins who were rushing forward fell into a pit trap. Though it was made in a hurry making its width short, we made sure that it was deep enough to not let anyone climb or even use weird skills like that stupid Cat.
Of course, it was my suggestion to place the pit in front of the entrance and it is their fault for being stupid enough to not even doubt why the camp entrance was loosely guarded.
The goblins in front were pushed into the pit as the running goblins halted their rush.
But the damage has been done, their Chief has fallen into the pit. The remaining goblins who are still above ground no longer have command and are just stupidly rushing towards the nearest hog and it became a mess as the hogs surrounded the pit and separating the goblins who are already inside while preventing those goblins who are still outside the camp to join the melee by blocking the camp entrance.
Pic came and dropped rocks towards the pit. His storage level has increased and can now take 50 items inside. Pic dropped all 50 pig-sized rocks towards the pit and God only knows what the goblins felt when it hit them.
After the pit trap card was activated. The goblin command shattered as they saw their fellows die one after another. Those who are outside the camp started to run as for those who are still trapped inside rushed towards the other end of the camp and jumped into the river.
The hogs were too tired to chase those escaping goblins and instead inspected their surroundings.
The Chief shouted and declared...
"VICTORY!!"
The hogs even though they were spent and exhausted forced what little energy remained within them and shouted as well.
"VICTORY!!!"
