“Demons.” Ash whispers. I can’t believe my ears. “What?” I say in disbelief. Aegir comes outside and Ash hides the gun. “What are you doing out here?” He yells. “Get in the bunker, Now!” We run to the bunker but Ash takes a turn. He runs up to the stairs and puts the gun under his bed. He returns without Aegir noticing. “Why are they here?” I ask. “Because, that little myth of why we are so rare, It’s not a myth. They've come back for round two.”
We get to the bunker and go in. It’s crowded as expected. They close the door and enter a password on the electric lock. “Zach,” Marina screams. “I thought you were dead. I’m so glad you’re okay.” She hugs me then starts crying. “Hey, I’m fine,” I say comforting her. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth. I wasn’t fine. Everything I’ve ever believed, just thrown out the goddamn window. We hear more explosions from above. Suddenly a wave of courage washes over me ”I have to do something,” I thought. I don’t know why I’m feeling this way. I go up to Aegir and say “let me out.” He responds with, “No, are you trying to get yourself killed? Those are demons. Ya know, corrupted souls, soldiers of hell, all that?” I start to get irritated. “After they’re done with this place what do you think is going to happen? They’re just gonna retreat? No. If they’re really what you say they are then they’re going to wreak havoc on Earth. Millions of innocent people are going to die. I can’t just sit here and watch that happen. Aegir had a surprised expression on his face. “You’re the one” He whispered. He opened the door and I ran up the stairs.
As I’m running to the dorms I see demons flying in the sky with their bat looking wings and shooting at the building. With the same types of guns that Ash had. I arrive at the dorms and go into my room. I grab the gun. I’m about to open the door but then I hear footsteps coming from down the hall. I put myself against the wall and wait for an opportunity to ambush them. I look and there are two demons. I try to steady my breathing. I cock the gun. The two come in front of my door and I start shooting. I kill them both with about 8 shots. My eyes start to tear up. “Oh my god,” I say with one hand covering my mouth. “I killed them.” I don’t have time to feel bad about this. I walk into the hallway. Then a demon crashed through the window and pinned me up against the wall. He summons a double-sided dagger and tries to stab me with it. I grab his arm with one hand and shoot him in the stomach with another. “You will burn.” The demon says. I point the weapon at his face and finish him off. I start walking down the hallway and go down the stairs. A demon waits for me there. He shoots at me but misses. I shoot at him and I hit the rail. “Fuck,” I say. He takes another shot and the energy bullet barely grazes my shirt. I shoot him in the arm and then in the face.

I walk down the stairs and go into the foyer. I then open the door and I see it. At least a thousand trigger happy demons ruining the place. I see a beam of light and men with white wings start flying down. “Angels.” I suspected. They summon their own version of these guns and start firing white energy beams into the crowd. I walk out completely mesmerized and then I’m being pinned up against the wall again but this time the demon has a bigger wingspan, the wings have feathers and he’s beefier. His wrists have broken handcuffs on them. He’s with another one that looks like him he’s shorter and his wings are smaller. I shot him but nothing happened. “So, you were the one that was killing all my minions. I’m going to rip your spine out and beat you with it you disgusting, vile, fragile, human.” The way he said human made me shake even more. “Prince Asmodeus,” The little one said, “Lord Erebus told you not to bring him any harm.” That really set Asmodeus off. “You don’t think I know that General Forneus!” He yelled. “I’m one of the seven princes of hell, you’re not!” He throws me on the ground. Just then another angel descended from the sky. This one had a full body of medieval armor with huge wings sticking out. “Michael.” Asmodeus groned. I get to my feet.
“Michael, like the archangel Michael.” I thought. Then he spoke, “Don’t touch the prophet.” Then Asmodeus retaliated with, “I told you, brother. I will return. And what did I do? I returned. You should've known this was coming.” My mind was racing. “Brother, what the fuck? How is an archangel your brother.” As soon as I think that Michael says “I am not your brother, not anymore.” Asmodeus scoffed. “Whatever.” He summoned I staff with a head of a lion forged on the top. Michael responds with taking out a flaming sword and kicking Asmodeus, sending him flying. Michael then sprouts his wings and goes after his prey. Then ¼ of the demons on the ground and half the angels in the sky aim their hands at each other and release beams of energy at each other. They look like the ones from the guns but more powerful. The shockwave of it was so strong that I was knocked over and knocked out.
