"Follow me."
She said, then proceeds to walk straight on an unfamiliar path. Straight into the unknown town. I followed while carrying Emil unconscious.
While following her, an adult man suddenly came running to me. "Have you seen my little girl?!" He was stunned and worried. "She has brown hair and wearing a pink skirt," he described the person he loved was missing. I could tell by the look in his eyes. The sorrow and grief.
Seeing a father like him, made me imagine that my parents would be finding me too. Of course.
Thinking like that made me blame myself more.
===°===
"You know, you think us bad parents because you're only thinking of yourself!!"
"You never understand us!"
"Mom, I just said what I'm facing right now! And you still think I don't understand!?" I shouted.
"Don't you dare shout your mother! You're just a son! A son! And I'm your mother!"
===°===
"I want to run away. It's just they can't understand me."
"Tuk, it's part of the realization if you leave your parents."
"But, I already told my problems to them. And they don't understand me."
"You just don't understand them, Tuk, they're adults and you're still just a son." You're the same as my mom and dad.
It made me angry even more, but giving me some advice from the church made me feel so pathetic. I don't know what to feel. And I don't know what it feels to be alive again.
"See? It's a part of life, honey. You're going to hell if you keep that up."
===°===
"My mom, always say some harsh words at me."
"The past is the past Tuk. Move on!"
But she still keeps repeating it.
===°===
"You're the one who's wrong! You should pray for this to be fix!"
"I already tried! Okay? I prayed and you didn't even listen!"
"Why should I? I'm your mother! You should only listen to me! For God be the glory listen only to your parents! Or you'll be in the hell of eternal flames."
===°===
"If you have problems. Then, I'm sorry." Mom said, but with a non-agreeable tone, she still denies it. She still thinks I'm wrong.
"I don't think you're sorry, after all Mom."
"It's because you started it!"
Wow.
===°===
"Tuk! What do you expect from them?! Bow down?! Plead on their knees to you?!"
"That's not what I meant!"
"Then, they're sorry. You're mom said she's sorry. What more do you want, Tuk?!"
You people at the church are all the same.
I don't know, maybe I'm fucking pathetic after all.
===°===
Seeing the father worried about his daughter's disappearance, made me so pathetic. It's like I'm wrong. I'm the one who's wrong.
I snapped back to reality when the curly hair woman said "Ignore them." I wish I could help but I'm clueless as to what is really happening now. I have nothing to say and nothing to help.
Don't try to be someone else hero if you can't do the job properly.
I learned this quote from a random book but it holds a valid point.
I looked up to the far left seeing my planet and country are farther to look at. The sky made my world land look blurry. I'm guessing that teleportation moved us a little far.
"Have you seen my boy?!"
"Rachel! Rachel, where are you?!"
"Mama!! Papa!!"
Crowds of missing families started to group. I'm wondering, why only the families are being vanished out and transported to our planet, or maybe not just families. How could I know they were transported? Well, looking back at the swamp place, Emil and I are on the hills where the statue of Baba is held. Then, the glowing light showed on our bodies and transported us to this other planet. That confirmed my hypothesis.
"Uhm..where exactly are we going?" I asked the curly hair girl, wondering about an unfamiliar path that I'm following. "You'll know." She answered.
"This is the heaven! Our Lord God Baba! We have been delivered to the heaven! Praise our God!" A weird old man wearing a polo shirt and pants. Casual wear. He started to spread the words that came from the Lib and other crowds that aren't familiar are gossiping about him being crazy. Obviously came from us.
I stupidly looked at him. We've been transported to another planet not heaven. I won't argue. It's his faith, not mine.
Guards wearing medieval armor and holding straight white staffs with dark red orbs on them came rushing to the old man who is sharing words of the Lib and started pinning him to the wall. "Silence! Necromancer!" The guard growled.
Necromancer? Necromancers exist on this planet?
"He must be part of the Necromance Ministry!" The other guard guessed. I stand watching the old man getting pinned to the wall. His eyes went up going like a paralyzed man. His body shakes like he got electrocuted alive. Then he stops moving.
What did they do to him? Is he dead? Is he? Oh god. I haven't seen the whole scene, when the crowds backed away in front of me, blocking the view. "I-Is he dead?" I turned and ask the curly hair woman watching too. "Who knows," she said. "But since he might be a necromancer, he will be killed." She explained.
I looked questioned. I don't know what knowledge, tradition, or culture they have. I have to know or else, I'm putting my words into dangerous baits.
"C-Can I ask why, please?" I beseechingly ask her. "Huh? What place are you born of?" She raised an eyebrow.
Good question.
"I'm from up there!"

CHAPTER 3
She looked up. "Oh, that makes sense."
"But you want my help, right? Then follow me," she commanded straight. I followed her. "Sigh. Emil wake up!" I shook her body while walking, getting tired of carrying her.
"Emil!"
"If I lose my strength, I'm gonna fall. I'm so goddamn tired already."
My body is getting sour of carrying her. Geez, if I'm born as a girl my personality won't change because whatever I am, I'm still me. Well, I'm still gonna carry her even if I were a girl.
The point is people's perspectives would see me differently if I were a girl. If I were a girl, kids my age wouldn't make fun of me or tease me for being a boy. Double standards exist.

"Being a man means learning to be strong! You need to be tough."
"Being a man means need to have a strong mentality. You can't cry for simple or offending words! Tough it up! It's just words!"
"Being a man means getting tough! No words nor action could get through you. That's a man!!"
Look, whoever said this it's an idiot. I don't care whoever made this to be so honorable, it's not deserving to be so honorable. It's still part of being an idiot, nothing will deny the fact.
You don't need to be an idiot to be a man.
Learning to be strong? Looks like you need pain and mistakes to be strong. You need to lose also to be strong because you'll learn to grow from your mistakes. Except for learning to be strong learn to grow up!
Men need to have a strong mentality? Ugh, I want to whack your brain! You're not aware of people that are weak from the heart and mind.
Not all men need to be strong. You need to learn not all men are supposed to be what are supposed to be.
Because we're not the same.
God. Those were my classmates giving me vague explanations and reasons giving me headaches.
Aside from my narcissistic parents, my school life is as well. It's hell. Hell lot to give them details on their faces.

"Kid!"
"Kid, hey!"
I looked at the person who sounds like he was calling me. "Hey! It's me!" I unexpectedly stumbled upon the farmer man that I traded for this cloak I'm wearing.
"I'm so glad you're okay." He said those words like an uncle looking after his grandchild. "I'm looking for my wife, I'm just with her then I'm in this place now." He said then scratched his head out of confusion. "The heck happened to us?" He got more confused.
"Looks like you have a guardian." The curly woman said. "B-But I still need your help, please!" I plead with her.
"Who's this beautiful woman?" The nice farmer went being a perverted old man. "You have a wife!" I shouted. "It's not bad to admire someone's beauty, right?" he smirked at me. "You're lucky, your wife is not here." I sarcastically looked at him.
"Hey, look, sorry. I wouldn't do that to my wife." He went back being a friendly farmer when I put his wife on the subject. "I'm just admiring this lady's beauty." He gives a malicious smile to her, I could easily see that facial expression of him showing. He is not even hiding it. I give him a disappointed look at him.
"Don't give me that look, kid." He said when he saw me staring at him. "How about I'll escort you to where are you going." He smiled at me softly as he is serious about what he said, showing sincerity. "Like?" I ask him to give an example but all he got was more confusion. Eyes looking up, thinking.
"That's why I needed her help." I pointed at the lady but she seems so intimidating. "Oh, alright. Such a smart kid." Said the farmer guy. "Let me help you carry your girl-" I interrupted him. "My friend," I said to him, then, I carefully handed Emil to the farmer carrying on his back.
"Are you all done now? Because I don't have all day." She gave us a soft smile but I felt she was intimidated by our interaction. "Sorry." I apologized again to her.
"Please, lead the way, miss." The farmer guy said, then the woman continued and we followed her silently.
Until now, we all still hear many crowds are being noisy. I can't blame them that one of their family members are missing.
The question is did someone have the power to transport people? If so, then what is their goal? Why did this unknown planet that I'm at stop moving? The greater mass is impossible to stop a huge planet from moving. It would collide and crush, and it would felt like the end of the world. I guess magic exists here.
I wonder if I can have magic powers here, but to be realistic probably not. I don't want to expect too much and I don't want to give credit to myself too much, either.
"Here." As her finale. We encountered a small library store. Now it makes sense when I ask her about I don't know what I'm doing and I don't where should we go, the library is the best option.
"A library?" The farmer guy look questioned. "To clear your heads, since you all came from up there." She sarcastically said like she is busy with something that I don't know. "But" I opened my mouth and she gave a sinister smile. "This is my last question," I said.
"Can we work here and live here? That's my final." I ask.
New world, new learning about cultures, politics, economics, and tradition. Necromancers, magics, and other stuff that I'll probably know.
"Why do you think I brought you here?" She sarcastically said with a smile that looks very intimidating. "Sorry, thank you for saving and helping us. I won't forget about this!" I bow to her showing my greatest gratitude for her.
She didn't say anything. She walked away.
I have a feeling that I will see her again in some time, maybe. I haven't heard her name and neither has she heard from us.
"A library huh?" The farmer looks at the small library, thoroughly. "You might seem the studious type kid. I'm not into reading, to be honest." He gave me a worried look. "Don't worry mister, we're just keeping and organizing books," I said of my own understanding of what probably librarians do. "Call me Carlos." He introduced.
"I'm Tuk and that's Emil." I pointed at her.
"Tuk and Emil huh." He smiled at me. Now I felt very affectionately friendly. He does look like an uncle looking after his grandkids. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get in!" He said with excitement.
I held the doorknob and twisted it open. When I entered the store, I could feel the heaven inside me. Books! Admiring the books and bookshelves.
I look at the counter and there's a person, reading a book. When I look at the person from the counter carefully, it's just an old man wearing glasses, and a leather jacket with a tie on it. He looked like he was in the middle of 50 or 60 in between.
"Hello there!" Carlos walked straight to the counter and greeted the old man. "Oh my, welcome. What seems to be catching your interest?" The old librarian man spoke.
Since I kinda predicted what Carlos will say to the old man, it's about the job, to be obvious. I let him handle the situation while I search to find some books that caught my interest.
There's one problem. "Fuck," I said with a disappointed tone of the unexpected.
The language is different.
"How the hell did you all learn English if the language isn't English words," I said while checking the words on a random book that I'm holding, right now.
I picked another book.
I checked the comparison of the same words that are being used, and yes, I confirmed. I saw some words being used like conjunctions by flipping some pages and looking at these words carefully. Used it again and again.
So, we speak the same language but not in words. Learning ABCs is already hard enough to memorize all of them. Let's say you memorize the letters, then words, then sentences, and grammar. It'll take a while for me to be influenced by these letters.
So, what should I do? Do these letters are the same as ABCs? Do constructing these letters as a sentence the same as English?
On the plus note, the village seems to be unaware of the unknown phenomena just happened that this planet almost crushed my home planet.
Man, I just need to focus on one thing, having much confusion will lead to nothing but worry and anxiety.
"Tuk!" Carlos called, recognizing his voice. I followed without hesitation and went straight to the counter. "You seem so young to be working here." Said the old librarian man with a gentle tone.
"I can manage," I said. "If you say so, as you can see here these books are low-classed except fiction and literature." He said, then waving his hand, pointing to all the books.
So, the low-classed meant it involve magic? I can tell because he meant about the ranks, so there are high-rank or low-class. So, he's telling us that this library is low-classed and not much popular. I could tell that there are no customers here, or is it because of the commotion outside?
He's telling us that it's a small library store and not much earning to live, but we still have nowhere to go. Luck just came coincidentally and you must not waste it.
"It's alright mister," I answered. Carlos glanced at me, confused as to what I said. "Well, if you say so." Carlos said with a sense of trust and a smile to me.
I stared at Emil still hasn't woken up. Fuck. I'm worried. Please wake up.
"I guess you all are approved."
"Thank you, sir."
"So? Where should we be sleeping?" Carlos ask. The old librarian man look questioned. "What are you talking about? You don't have a place to stay at?" He said with a disappointing tone.
I poked Carlos giving his attention to me, and I looked at him saying 'let me handle it.' He moved putting his trust on me. "Actually we're travellers. We're from a far distance land." I lied but also mixed with a truth. "Hoho. That make sense, you seem like a studious type." He chuckled happily, like hearing good news from a Merry Christmas. "Come in-come in! I love to hear about your stories." He said happily, he stands up walking to the back. A back door.
When the old man entered the back door, Carlos and I went in after. We are clearly in the backroom of the library store, then we are in the kitchen then at the closer back there are stairs. Guessing the old man's room is upstairs. "Travellers are unusual these days." Said the old man then polished his glasses, then put them back again.
"Why unusual?" I ask looked questioned. I might learn some important information about this place or just about that. "Because they are being hunted by other races." He answered.
Races? I hope he didn't mean the color of the skin. Maybe he meant species? Animals? Monster? Probably?
"That's why travellers are unusual these days, come have a sit. I wanna have a chat of what you've traveled so far." The old man called us after he walked into the kitchen, then sat at the table. He also prepared a pen and an old brown paper with him. Carlos and I just went along ahead, we joined the old man at the table.
Carlos seemed to be confused and when he looks at me, he was telling me that lying is bad. I know, but we have nowhere to go.
We just have to go along with this...
from this world...
"I'd love to discuss that we aren't knowledgeable about this place," I said then he chuckled, and I looked very confused. "Ho. Ho. Ho. You're funny young one." He continued.
"Well, you are travelers, after all."
"Now tell me, are you all involved in the Necromancy Ministry?"
