7 months passed, and now, I couldn't feel anything. I've been punching the same metal wall for months now, and now with a simple jab, I pierce straight through the wall, when it is 50 metres thick, though. At full force, it pierces around a kilometer, which is still no good, I need to get much stronger, I was still too weak. I didn't see Mikasa while I trained, so I supposed she was simply waiting for me. I still had 3 more months before I have to test myself on Yartsdra, which worried me, because at this speed, it would still take me around one to two years before mastering it, and making it stronger would take even more time, so I had to speed up my ways. I started by giving myself only 2 hours of sleep, such that I could adapt to the harsh environment of war, and if it is to be a long fight, I would gain the upper. At the current, when I tried using Yartsdra again, I was able to pierce about one and a half kilometer, so I still have 3 and a half left to go, which will take me much more time. So, I planned on a simple and more efficent way of training. My schedule was as follows:
12:00 AM -> 2:00 AM - Sleep
2:00 AM -> 3:30 AM - Eat and Study (1 hour for study)
3:30 AM -> 4:00 AM - Brush , Shower and Prepare
4:00 AM -> 9:00 AM - Train by punching a platinum wall, engraved with Diamonds (took me quite some time to prepare) horizontally
9:00 AM -> 10:00 AM Shower again, and eat
10:00 AM -> 3:00 PM study, and increase ME
3:00 PM -> 9:00 PM Training, by jumping up, and punching the wall vertically.
9:00 PM -> 9:30 PM Eat and study a bit
9:30 PM -> 12:00 AM Free Time.
Previously, my free time was from 6:30 , but i shrinked it, such that there would be more time to train. The new wall, also proved to be a challenge. It took me almost all of Yagrik, but I managed to create a 100 meter thick wall made of entirely of Solid Platinum, and on the outside, there was a layer of Diamond, 20 meter thick, to be a total of 120 meter thick wall. I noticed ever so often, that Mikasa, with coffee in her hand, would watch me punching it endlessly, and I heard some snickers before. After about 1 month of following this plan, I knew I was sleep deprived. I never took coffee, because you can't make coffee in the midst of a war, so I had to continue with this. Usually, in my free time, I would study, and in the midst, would fall asleep on my book, but I always woke up on my bed. My two ideas were that, I was sleeping on the book , rather than the bed, because I always saw a bit of saliva on it, so I was probably drooling, and second is that maybe Mikasa is watching, waiting for me to fall, so that she can pick me up, and heal me. This is, because, although I can self-repair my cells, it is still slow, and a very painful process, but when I wake up, I feel fresh, so I supposed Mikasa's ability was too heal. I then wondered who's familiar she could be. It was painfully obvious to me that she was RagNar-Ok's familiar, but I didn't see the Lord's famous brand mark, which all Dragon Lords put on there familars, as it is all in there contract.
According to the books I read, familiars create contracts with the person who they are following, which could be ridiculous requests, or some more serious ones. Like, some familiars would ask for human cash, and in return would serve them, and others request more, vague things, which I do not want to go to detail with. Basically, Familars are different beings, from the 5 discovered universes, and some , but very few, from the other 4, not explored yet. These include many beings such as orcs, wisps, spirits, elves, goblins (Keep in mind these all will be explained further, in detail, in Volume 2, if the first volume gets enough likes/reviews/rating and those stuff.). They were confusing beings, because I don't know myself why they would want to work for greedy people such as ourselves, but nonetheless, they must have there reason.
The wall was tough, like extremely tough. When I first made it, from moving to steel to it, even with my strongest punch, I only managed to chunk through 50 cm of the Diamond, and I knew if I could make a full pierced hole, the 5 kilometres would be nothing more than a breeze, so I decided, rather than increasing Yagrik's density, which at this stage is 20 g/cm, which made current Yagrik pretty dense, but not good enough, for what I need, atleast. I then, decided, rather than using my fists, to create Yartsdra from the beginning, and try to pierce it, which perked Mikasa's interest, which made it seem to be the right method, as she watched much more attentively, now.
Time Left Before Test: 1 Month
I continued trying to pierce it with Yartsdra, but no hope, either. I was able to chunk a meter off of the Diamond now, but not more progress, so I thought about any other ways of increasing my strength. I decided to spend a week on simply exhausting both SE and ME, and then stamina, and see if that creates any difference. To exhaust ME and stamina, I would create a very complex machine, using the flowing Air, which took enough strain as it is. Then, to exhaust stamina, I disassembled everything, until they were all at there raw materials. Suppose I created a fridge. I wouldn't stop after disassembling its radiator, its wires, its liquid pumps, its battery, its doors. I would rather, first rip apart the paint of the radiator, then melt in using SE, and then bringing it into its basic ore form, I did the same with wires, simply mixing the Cu wires with all sort of minerals like Ca, Na, K, S, C, O, and many more, to make it diluted and in its basic ore form. I did this with everything else, seperating the rubber of the door, and the metal parts, and the other things it is made up of. After doing this 3 or 4 times, I completely exhausted both ME, and stamina, yet SE was a bit difficult, because of Yagrik's nature. I decided to simply continuously change Yagrik's form, which would also make me sharper. I was hoping to create a change every milisecond, but at the current, it takes 5 seconds. Suppose I want to make a rainbow glass pane, with simply changing Yagrik, rather than using colors and lights. It would take 5 seconds for it to reform into Yagrik, then into the thing I required, but if I was able to stop it from reforming, it would make it extremely quick, which I wished so.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
After a week, I noticed a slight change in Yagrik, it was seemingly denser than before, and this time, I was able to do 2 meters. At this current speed, it would be physically impossible for me to be able to puncture such a hole. I needed a way to do it quicker, and then I saw that Mikasa notioned to me. "I see you've been using a more reinforced wall, then previously, and now you're using Yartsdra, rather than your fists, can you tell me why?" and I answered simply. "The previous wall was punctured to easily, and I thought if I was able to get used to Yartsdra, I would be able to pierce it better." and she grinned. "You got the first part right, the second one wrong. It is better to use your fists, as both Yagrik and Yartsdra get buffed. When your physical strength increases, Yagriks density increases. You are currently at a ratio of 200:1 , which is every 200 Physical strength 'Points' (Current SI unit, for now, atleast) would make it a g/cm squared, denser. In my status, if I was to have Yagrik, it would be a ratio of 10:1 , so , rather than increasing density this way, why not decrease the ratio? Now tell me, how would you think you are able to do that?" and I thought for a while.
"Since physical strength inceases it to that degree, and ME and SE are linked to a certain degree, then, the only other way this is possible, is , some sort of potion?" and she 'Facepalmed' . "Aye,aye,aye (don't know spelling) . You got it only half right. Sure , you can use a potion, but that is temporary, unless it is extremely powerful. Now, to decrease the ratio, why not try and look at the MysBox? It is filled with all sorts of Mysteries, and if you answer me , correctly, tomorrow, I'll allow you another month to practice this, but than after that, you will only have 2 days till the Test, and if you fail, well, we will spend another year on this, and that will only kill your limited time, we are already short on such time." and I thought for a while, and I decided I should do exactly this.
I then scavenged through the MysBox, a Box in my 'house' which Mikasa told me not to open unless I'm in a very .. whats the word... kind of like, cornered ? When I'm stuck on a certain place, and have no other option, I would first ask from Mikasa before checking the MysBox. When I opened it, I mainly saw pictures, of me, Mikasa, and another person, with his face cut. The first thing I wondered was how I knew Mikasa, because I just met her, so it confused me for quite a while, but I had a theory. Under all of these pictures, I saw a diary, of Mikasa's.
Most of the pages were ripped apart, except for a few. There were only 3 pages wich were left intact. They all had details about one person, considerably , the person Mikasa was talking about. I knew I first had to study the method by this person, because it semed like Mikasa herself forgot about it. Aparently , each pages were written in a obscure language, and it took me a bit of time to decipher it , but I managed to figure it out.
The first page reads out his name, identity and all that, the second was his location, and third was his method. It said, that his name was, UkiBiBa , a very old sage, who used to study deeply in SE and ME. He is the only Pure Human alive, and has the most knowledge of SE and ME. Legend says, that he uses his ME to allow him to stop aging, and that he was actually born in 600 AD. UkiBiBa lived in a remote island, and aparently it was actually right next to here, because the Island had a portal already linked to the Dragon Dimension, so I just had to find the floating box, by traveling through the void, of course. UkiBiBa used obscure methods to teach, as well. In the end, Mikasa herself had almost no details about it. It was basically another mystery I had to solve. All I knew was that it followed the same course as this CyroGenic Dimension, in the Dragon Dimension. It , however, followed normal time, so I couldn't spend much time there, else there would be greater problems as well. I then told Mikasa about my findings and she nodded. "Seems correct, I don't know. But let me tell you this. You need to surrond yourself in a special barrier made of a combination of SE and ME. This barrier allows you to travel the void without the problems of Void-Spacing, which is kind of like when you go into a Black Hole, only worse, by many degrees. I then asked Mikasa what I had to do.
"Basically its a special barrier created by LesLout, in order for easy travel in the Dragon World, and is only known to a select few. What you had to do, was firstly create a thin membrane of ME around you, and in it, it would continuously change CO2 into O2, such that you can live. Then, surronding that would be vacuum, and then a layer of your SE. The tricky part is the third layer, which is another ME. This is actually a layer consisting of both Yagrik and your ME, which is actually difficult, so, first test it yourself, in here, and I'll tell you if you did it correctly.
I then called upon Yagrik, and thought for a while about what she said. I first created a thin membrane of ME, and the first thing I did was make it visible, by changing it's colors, by changing what it reacts with. Afterwards, whilist I was to breathe, I made sure that the Carbon Dioxide in the exhaled air was removed to only leave only Oxygen, which would allow me to breathe there. Then, outisde of the thin membrane, I had a vacuum of 50 mm thin, and then created a layer of Yagrik, but made it transparent , to see around. Then, 50 cm away from that , I created another ME barrier, changing its color again, and keeping the 'air' around it,a special concotion, which was a mixture of Francium,Einstinium, and a new element founded by Mikasa, Savium. Savium was a special mettaloid, which was the only which had every aspect of both Metals and Non-metals, making it a breakthrough in technology. Its crafting is a very delicate process, and is usually stored in a solid form. it is so dense, that one gram of it, is aparently more heavy, than an entire skyscraper. This is very special, and is kind of like a conductor of SE , which allows it to protect us. I was amazed that someone like Mikasa found out about Savium, Sv.
"Yes , well done. Now, for the test, I'm going to lead you out to the void, and if you are fine after 5 minutes, than you can continue exploring , but make sure the cord is still attached, else you would be in alot of danger, because if a Dragon interferes with that barrier, you are dead, you will be Void-Spaced." and I was worried alot, but I knew this was the only way I could serve any purpose to Hazen. I was then led out, and to my surprise it was perfect. "Ahh, good, but we got a little problem. At the current level of your SE and ME, which are 3,000 and 4,000 points respectively, you would only be able to last an hour outside. So now, comes the next phase of the challenge. You have 55 minutes to find the space, meet with UkiBiBa, and learn the method. After 55 minutes, I'll tug back your cord and you will be back here, and then, if you answer me correctly , you will get extra time to master it, else, at this rate, you will only have 3 days left to master it, so, goodluck, disciple." and she let me go.
It was a bit worrysome at first, venturing the Void, because it was pure emptyness, and the legend is what worries me most. I then simply continued wandering around, hoping that the legend was false, and that I would be lucky to find it. To my surprise, it was literally infront of us, but now we are following normal time, so I had to go quickly, because now, time is short, very short. I than ran towards it, but , since it was empty, it was as if I was swimming. I took my time, but I reached there, but it was the wrong one, and rather, it was a different one, in which someone looked at me, with a weird expression, and kicked me out. So I continued looking for it, hoping that Hazen was doing well.
