Prologue
The Fates were not happy. Chaos was up to his old tricks introducing more than his allowed amount of Randomness to the world. The Fates now needed to create a new Champion, thereby changing someone's fate which The Fates hated to do. Randomness was all well and good, but like everything, it needed balance or the world’s fate would change, and that The Fates could not allow, she had enough work to do without having to account for change on that scale. The Fates wished that they knew what the world’s fate was, but the Creator wouldn’t tell her, or anyone else, for some reason.
“Why, oh why did the Creator allow Chaos? It would be so much simpler without his Randomness to guide mortals along their fated path without him around,” The Fates mumbled among themselves. “Well, I guess we need to adjust another mortal’s fate. Whom should we screw this time? A noble? No! We did that last time. Grab someone from another dimension? No, no, no, no, everyone's doing that, and it never works out as planned. They always complain about not being OP and not having a system to cheat. Fine fine fine,” the center Fate said, throwing up its arms in surrender, “A commoner then. OOOHHH, he looks promising. A fine young merchant’s son, healthy with some education, young enough to not be set in his ways but old enough to have some skills, and the God of Canines has already blessed him with Bonding Magic. Perfect, we only need to give him some more magics and power and the Elemental Magics to give him a chance!”

As The Fates launched the Change Spell at the young boy, Chaos jumped into the path of The Change laughing like the mad aspect he was and yelled:
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA CAST RANDOMIZE DO I DO!!!! SPELL CAST BY YOU RANDOMIZED BE IT BE BY ME!!!!”
Chaos hit The Change with an imaginary club that was a very real spell. The Change flew well off its intended course, away from the small city and the boy it was meant for towards the largest city in a large kingdom, on a different continent than intended. The Fates screamed in impotent fury, though they didn’t bother to chase after Chaos, who was cackling sanely as he slipped out of their realm and into another poor god’s realm. The Fates just held their head and moaned, “Well, let’s see what we can do about this mess…..”
One of The Fates bodies paced around thinking while the other two started bickering about whose fault it was that Chaos had been able to break in and divert their Blessing. The pacing body ignored the pain from one of the others pulling the other’s hair out and looked down on the planet below to see where the Blessing landed. Watching it land, the Fates frowned.
“Stop bickering and come over and let us ….me….we? think. Why it just means more work?” The third incarnation frowned and started to walk off, waving dismissively at the other two. “Figure it out yourself; I have to poop.” The other two stared at the third, looked at themselves, and asked in unison, “We can poop?”
