Going to the library would have raised a romance flag with a female, the female being iris, and whilst doing so, our Mc could have learnt a bit of magic >:[
Training grounds would have raised a friendship flag with a guy, bleh.
Going to inn would have raised family relationships slightly.
Staying in room would have turned him into a lazy bast- I mean his brother would have dragged him out a while later and brotherly relations would become a ++.
But fear not, as currently will still make chances for such developments occur if you pick the right choices!

Where should I go?
Turning to look at the door where brother had left in good spirits, I rolled around my bed, thinking of ways to get rid of my boredom.
Come to think of it, when we were walking to the academy, we passed a interesting shop filled with beasts, brother called it a pet shop.
Maybe I should go there!
Having a goal in mind, I slid the single silver coin into my pocket, the coin was useful, I think it is equivalent to a hundred copper coins, one copper coin is also ten stone coins.
I think the coin is rather precious, but I don't really mind either ways because daddy will definitely give me more if I ran out of it.
Skipping happily out of the door, I gave a last glance to the pile of baggage I was supposed to pack and closed the door.
I'll do it when I come back.
"M, mhmm~ nhmm~" humming a tune I heard from a musician at the street of stalls, I skipped there.
Although some weird looks were sent my way as I walked out of the academy, I did not bother too much with them and left.
That being said, this was my first time really taking in the sights of the school, between the borders which was claimed by the academy, on the four corners were buildings designated as the living areas, or dorms.
Each of them had different designs, each better than the last, the most expensive and luxury looking had a dragon banner hung on it, the building furthest from the main gate, making the environment there quiet and peaceful, while others differed in their luxurious qualities.
Although, other than the special banners, there wasn't anymore things that belonged to the individual groups, signifying that the areas of living could be switched with the rise and fall of the rankings.
Still humming the stupid tune that played continuously in my mind, I retraced my steps to where the merchant filled streets were, but unfortunately, I seemed to have walked the wrong way.
After detouring multiple times and also asking for directions from people who did not really show much disdain in their eyes, I reached the odd shop where suspicious beast cries were heard.
"How may I help you?" A adult female appeared behind the counter, pushing at the thick black thing that hung from her ears and rested on her nose.
Not really sure why, I started out by asking her about the thing on her nose, "What are those?" With a curious face on.
"Oh these? It's called spectacles, so, why are you here interesting little child." She said, stepping out from the mess she was buried in behind the counter, patting on her clothing to get rid of the dust on herself.
"I'm here to look at the beasts you have!" I told her, rather happily.
"Ah," she pushed up her spectacles and continued "I have some of the best beasts from the hunters who had visited many places, I'm sure you'd like some of them, although, I do hope you came with the approval of your parents."
Ignoring the last sentence, I looked around the messy store filled with lots of beasts in cages, each going about with their own things.
"Something cheap for a child, a boy, a small one would be good." She mumbled to herself.
Looking around the cages that filled the place, she took a pole with a hook that leaned at the side of the wall and retrieved one of the cages that hung from the ceiling.
"How about this?" She said as she poked at the beast with a pen from the counter "It's a Ywor, scaly little thing, rather easy to keep and feed, they originate from the west, not too far, thus the price rather cheap."
Pushing her spectacles yet again, she proudly pushed the small cage into my arms for me to inspect.
The thing called Ywor was about the length of my small hand, scaly and small, not really fearsome but cute?
Wrinkling my nose at it's smell, I pushed it away "No, it smells bad."
"Erm, you'd like a clean one? Then perhaps the furred animals I have might interest you." Scratching at her temple, she used the pole to return the cage onto the hook on the ceiling and dragged me by the hand to the right corner of the small store.
"A animal of the hare species? Or a rodent." Mumbling to herself, she took some keys from her pocket and opened a rectangular cage and took out a fluffy bundle of unknown.
"It's called the Qia, fluffy little thing, good to hug, they feed on anything basically as long as it's vegetation."
"Too cute! I want something scary!" I said, jumping up and down, empathizing my point.
Gently putting the ball of fluff into the cage, she straightened her back and pushed at her spectacles, her expression signifying that she was deep in thought.
After many trial and errors, she sighed in disappointment and raised her hands to usher me out of her store with and apologetic look, whilst doing so, her face suddenly lit up only to disappear as she shook her head, an array of expressions dancing through her face.
After a few moments of heated debate within herself, she said hopefully "I have something that fits in most of your requirements, but I'm not too sure as to how to handle that beast, perhaps you can get along with it? Since you're partially from the beast race."
Giving another sigh, she led me by the hand towards the back of her store as she explained "You seem this little one is called Blood weasel, or that's what I call it anyway, a tiny carnivore who has the habit of attacking larger animals by latching itself onto it and sucking their blood, it was brought in by this particular group who sold it to me at a high price, due to the fact that I hadn't seen it before."
Pushing open the door which she unlocked with her keys, she led me into a less messy room compared to the store but still messy nonetheless.
"I'm registered as a beast tamer, you see, and some of these are my own beasts but please pardon them." She said, stepping quietly over a large wolf.
Reaching a table filled with papers that covered every corner of it, she reached behind it and took out a reinforced crate with small holes covering it and said "A feisty beast, it's eating habits far over my control, I'm just looking to get rid of it, if it takes a liking to you I can sell it for a cheap price, if not then I'll have to kill it, a pity really." She sighed.

"Curse those people, selling me it for a sky high price, promising me that I'll be benefiting instead." She cursed under her breath softly.
Leading me into another room which were mostly empty, she explained "This is where I let out some of the beast and all that good stuff, wouldn't want the little thing run through my rooms challenging the other beasts, right?"
The room was split into half, a short wall cutting off the 3/4 of it. Bending over the wall, she opened the crate and let out the still sleepy animal and said "Well, go take a look it at, it's rather hungry so be careful."
Tiptoeing over the wall, I looked at the long and rather fluffy thing groggily making it's way to the walls, snarling slightly as it did so.
It was the length of my arm, but unexpectedly, It had cute features.
Turning to the female, I looked at her with bewilderedness, not knowing how it could be labeled as feisty.
"Ah, I suppose a demonstration is in order," she sighed, pushing her spectacles yet again as she leaned to one of the multiple crates that was placed against each other, with a two large words stamped on them, the two words being 'Live Food'
Reaching in, she grabbed one small rat that was easily found everywhere and threw it where the weasel was without any hesitation or pity for the rat that squeaked in terror.
Upon realizing the existence of a unknown creature that was hurled into its area, the weasel turned around and snarled, pouncing instantly and crushing the smaller rat's head in between its teeth.
Being rather starved, the weasel spared no suspense and quickly finished the rat, but even after it had done so, it was still hungry.
"See? Terrifying appetite. I don't really have any large live food to spare so that I can prove the part where it drinks the blood, but I suppose anything is wasted unless you can form a bond with it." She said, rather unhappily.
"Pea!" She shouted and a large bird appeared, flying into the room and into her shoulder "You can try to go and touch it, but if anything happens I'll get rid of it then immediately, it's up to you."
After thinking for a while, I shrugged and jumped over the wall, what's to lose anyway?
Within moments of entering, the weasel jumped towards me with its mouth open, but I quickly moved away from its range of attacking.
Without faltering, it did the exact thing again, this time faster, not belittling the prey before it, but instead, I was still a step faster.
As we continued the game of cat and mice, the weasel's speed gradually decreased as signs of fatigue appeared on its face, after all it had been hungry for a while.
Finding our small game amusing, I thrusted my hand near it, wanting it to eat so that we can continue playing.
Noticing my hand, it gave me a look of upset and anger as it bit down, obviously mad it me letting it win, although I had no intention of doing so.
"Eh? Kid?" The female said, rather shocked at my actions.
"Its fine~" I called out.
Sucking a bit of my blood, the weasel widened it's eyes but didn't stop, a pleased expression floating on its small face.
While it did so, I petted it, a small smile appearing as I fiddled with its soft fur.
"I suppose you would like to buy it then?" The female said, her eyes brows raised in expectations.
"Erm....how much?" I said, rather scared that I'll be unable to pay for it.
"I'll see it to you for cheap, mostly as a thanks for letting me get rid of it without total loss......how about...." Thinking for a while, she said "25 Copper coins."
From my knowledge, a decent meal from a place would cost a a single copper coin with five stone coins, it's a bit expensive but I think it's a good price?
Nodding to her, I took out my sliver coin which made her widen her eyes in shock "Um, it seems I might have underestimated you.....want a bigger beast?" She asked hopefully, but I shook my head.
"Alright," she said scratching her head "I'll throw in the crate and some food for your weasel wait a moment as I get them."
After retrieving 75 copper coins, I returned with two crates in hand, one for the weasel and the other for about 3 rats provided by the female, also, before I left she helped me set up an familiar ceremony to make the weasel mine.
"I'm back." I called out, knowing that brother had similarly returned by the sound of the shuffling of feet.
"Ah, you're back." He said, pointing the door "Oh, what did you buy?" He asked rather curiously.
"I bought a Blood weasel and some rats!"
"!?!?!"

Although it shocked brother and I got scolded, he still made a space in the big luxurious room for the weasel that was rather aggressive for him at first, but as for its food...
It infuriated brother to no end, I also had a large appetite, combined with the weasel, the both of us need large amounts of meat.
Taking the money that dad gave me, brother announced himself as the money keeper, and that from here onwards I'm not allowed to buy anymore pets.
Rather mean.
We have 3 more days till classes start, I have to choose at least one class and at most three classes, then there are the sub classes that can be forgoed, although the limit is a measly one, though I can also take extra classes, it's entirely up to me.
We can basically learn how to use multiple weapons, those covered by the academy are the; Long sword, short sword, broad sword, whip, throwing knives, bow and arrows, spear, fist fighting.
Sub classes are Beast taming, trap setting, beginner's magic.
Although there's magic, the things that can be learnt are very very limited, I wonder what I should choose?
