The first thing Peter and his brothers had to face was the attack from the armed helicopters in air.
Rains of bullets and dozens of missiles were poured out towards the armored men like things didn’t cost a cent. Various structures and surrounding landscapes nearby were heavily damaged.
However, they realized that they had failed to pose a threat to the armored men after the vision got clear again. The pilots couldn’t help but gasped a few breathe of air in surprise and wonder.
Tall square shields suddenly appeared in the hands of armored men and helped them resisted the dense frontal attacks. As for shrapnel from explosions of missiles, they failed to leave a trace on the armors.
Fortunately, the armored men seemed helpless against their attacks. The pilots thought so.
Little did they know that it was because Peter had ordered his brothers to hold back first.
These guys are not virgins. Although they swore to protect the innocent weak, they are not foolish enough to let go of the enemies who wanted their lives. Beside, they know that there’s no innocent.
Their judgment on innocent depends on who have more sins on them. Sadly, they are still at tier one.
The ground units especially infantry soldiers didn’t know that their air units were helpless.
After witnessing the dense rains of attacks, their somewhat wavering mind were quickly stabilized.

Hearing their major’s scoldings coming through the individual radios, the soldiers smiled bitterly.
They held the AR-15 in their hands tight and rushed towards the church.
Of course, none chose to go through the gates. They had a better way. The soldiers approached the walls and placed C4 on designated places. Then, they retreated and blew them up.
Like that, they created holes to pass through. And, they stormed into the church through them.
The number of infantry men who were rushing into the church was already around two hundreds.
Moreover, there were still crews in Humvee, tanks and armed helicopters in air. Beside, there were also guards left behind at base. The company under the command of major Redfield surely is a big one.
In comparison to this, the company under the command of captain Wick only had around one hundred and fifty personnel in the entire company including operators and doctors.

With his order, the counter attack began. The armed helicopters became the first bird.
Brothers of Guardian Spirits quickly aimed their guns at the armed helicopters flying around and shot them with great precision. They had great eyesight and high performance evolving brain.
Moreover, the guns in their hands are all equipped with 12.7 mm modified explosive bullets.

He believed that the grenades might cause some damages to these mysterious armored man although their 5.56 mm bullets failed to leave a trace on both of the surfaces of armor and big square shields.
Then, he saw that the armored man didn’t even care and stepped on one of the several grenades.
Unlike what thought, the explosions left no trace on the armors nor made the armored man shake a bit.
“Fuck! Who the hell are we fighting with?”, the sergeant felt like they were fighting against humanoid tanks. He felt somewhat crazy. Instead of giving up, he decided to try one last time.
“Come on, somebody give him a rocket. Fuck, I don’t believe that you can stand against anti-tank rockets.”, the sergeant shouted. Just when he wanted to throw another grenade, he felt a cold touch.
Slowly turning his head to look back, the sergeant saw that two armored men were somehow standing behind him. One of them just hit his head with the cold muzzle. The sergeant got frightened.
Then, he tremblingly stood up and walked forward under the gesture of the armored men. Fuck it.
The sergeant cursed in his heart and walked towards his men just like that with two armored men.
“Don’t shoot! Don’t shoot! Guys, let’s surrender. Wake up! We can’t fight this battle.”
Like the sergeant shouting and persuading his men to surrender, the same scene was happening in other parts of the church compound at the same time. No one succeeded in advancing to the cathedral yet.
The battle only started five minutes ago and half of the company was already collapsing.
The major Redfield who also heard the messy sounds of his soldiers decided to do a big vote directly.
He didn’t bother to wait anymore and directly ordered the tanks to storm into the church.
At that time, captain Wick and his men also arrived. The road was blocked with Humvee so they’re late. Fortunately, the men under Redfield thought that they’re allies coming to help them and they drove their Humvee aside to make a path in the middle. It allowed them to drive in their tanks.
Then, everyone saw something incredible. Some tanks got stuck in the gates. No, they’re pushed back.
The armored men left deep footprints on the road paved with strange stone slates as they pushed back the tanks. However, it seemed that they had realized that they’re doing something stupid. They stopped.
Guns in the hands of several armored men magically disappeared and swords appeared in their hands.
Then, they swarmed around the tanks and attacked them by slashing and stabbing at here and there.
Unlike the onlookers and crews in the tanks thought, these cold weapons caused great damage to the tanks. Soon, the tanks stopped running. They’re almost dismantled by the armored men.
The other tanks who drove into the church compound through broken walls were also no better.
Seeing the crazy scene of tanks getting destroyed by these armored men, the surrendered soldiers and still fighting soldiers also put away the last expectations in their hearts. The fight also stopped.
Meanwhile, captain Wick and his men were confronting major Redfield and his men. The former had already become a prisoner but the latter men were in confusion. But, no shooting occurred.
Soon, the nearby residents also appeared on the streets with various types of guns in their hands.
Looking at them pointing their muzzles at them and listening to their shouts, the gunners and drivers in Humvee also peacefully got out of their vehicles and surrendered. The battle really came to an end with them taking a step back. It’s really a strange battle.
Unfortunately, the crews of armed helicopters all died. Comparing to them, the infantry men were luckier. Although many were injured, nobody died at the very least.
