The goblin grumbled along, heaving a little as the creature followed behind Grak, the hunter was striding up a treacherous mountainside whilst Steal nervously trailed after him. The path they'd taken was long and although not dangerous, it was certainly difficult to traverse. Many of the ledges and outcroppings were far too large for the small creature to scale alone, forcing Grak to fall back and lift Steal upwards. The climb was exhausting for the goblin, but he was allowed a minutes rest when they reached the top... Well, not the top of the mountain, but they had at the very least reached their destination.
Steal took a seat on a mossy stone slab, the thick brush tickled him as he sat, but it was comfortable, albeit damp. Grak pointed deep into a patch of undergrowth that seemed to burrow into the mountain, a long-forgotten cave perhaps.
The hunter watched his exhausted goblin companion, waiting for him to regain his breath before marching on. He lifted the thick vines and brush that covered the cave's mouth, making Steal go ahead of him, before moving in himself and letting the vines fall behind him. Surprisingly, the cave was dimly lit as well. Rough rock walls and ceilings were embedded with a number of gently growing crystals, some sat smoothly within the rock, whilst others stuck out.
Grak kept moving on whilst the goblin continued to follow behind, the damp air and cold stone reminded him of his birthplace, yet also reminded him of the humans that attacked him, a mixture of dread and joy seemed to wash over the monster as they advanced deeper. Even as the thin beams of sunlight that peaked through the cave's entrance faded away, the glowing crystals gave off their dim light, a pure white glow illuminating the cavern.
The duo advanced further into the cave until they came across a small, ornate looking marble structure, decorating with engravings of vines and seeds, as well as covered in real vines. The stone floor gave way too some sort of foliage, alot like the soft moss that Steal had sat on.

Grak urged Steal to press onwards, taking a knee in front of the dilapitated holy ruin, an ill-kept and forgotten shrine.
A gentle hum seemed to pierce into the goblin's mind, it was unnerving, but his hobgoblin companion merely stayed on his knee, his lips didn't move, but Steal could distinctly hear Grak's gravelly voice inside his head.
"This little on hear is new to our tribe oh great lady" Grak was greeted with what sounded like an affirming grunt as he carried on "We want him to hunt with me, but I cannot teach him my class. Can you aide us dear lady?"
Another screen popped into Steal's head as he listened to the hobgoblin converse with some unseen creature.

The goblin hastily accepted the class, he didn't know why, but from what he'd seen and had explained to him, the Hunter job would help him attack from afar, which he figured was far safer than fighting in melee, and much less exhausting.
Another flood of information passed through his little mind, a number of windows popping up, including his Status, which forcefully opened itself the moment he accepted the new job.

Steal giggled a little in that high-pitched, grating voice of his. He felt stronger yet again, small fragments of knowledge about hunting sinking into his mind as if they had always been there. It wasn't like gaining a trait, his body felt rejuvenated, not tortured and enflamed.
Grak grinned at the little creature "stronger now, yes? It is time we hunt again. The lady will speak to you another time..." The burly hobgoblin bowed at the ruined excuse for a shrine before turning away, urging that Steal follow him once more.
Rather than descending down, back into the thick woodlands, the hobgoblin hunter led Steal higher and higher up the rather treacherous mountainside.
