It has been fourteen epochs since I came into an "unknown" existence and changed the lives of people for the better or the worse. But if I'm being honest, I don't care nor do I feel any remorse for doing what I did.
The world was peaceful, people lived in harmony and peace. They were one with their own devices, literally. Free from harm and suffering, they forgot what it felt like to feel pain.
They were all in a constant utopia with no problem in sight. It was flawless. It was so flawless that it was flawed. In a sense that it was too perfect to exist and the world collapsed on itself.
The principle and laws of its existence were broken and diverted so that it started to fail and become flawed. It was intentionally flawed but somehow... These humans managed to live in harmony with one another.
That's why they put me in charge of this world.
— "Lida..."
I'm chosen by the throne and now I must continue the cycle.
— "Lida..."
I'm the goddess of creation.
— "Lida!!!"
I opened my eyes to look at the person yelling my name: Mark. How did he get in here? Whatever.
— "What is it? Why have you come into my world? Don't you know it's rude to disturb a maiden from her thoughts?"
— "Where are the other Sins?"
Straight to the point, I see. The two brothers already have one of the Great Sins of Humanity. Maybe he was busy hunting down the other Great Sins and eventually gave up. I'm just too good at hiding anything. But Owens on the other hand... What is he doing?
I immediately summoned an image to track down Owens to see that he has died for the second time but this time, he's seeing the past of a boy with fire burning around him.
— "I said, Where's the other Great sins, Lida?!"
— "How did he... End up seeing that...?"
— "Seeing what? What happened?"
Knowing him, I shouldn't tell him. Afterall, him being aggressive only makes this game of mine more interesting and entertaining.
— "Your young brother he..."
I'll drag this on until he gets impatient. I know his reaction will be priceless...
And there's nothing he could do about it because if he ever lays a finger on me, I'll make sure he'll suffer greatly. Of course I instilled this fear in him when I made him go on a blind rage against his own brother.
— "He what?"

— "He... Your brother Owens... He..."
— "He what, Lida?! What did he do or find?!"
...And I was right. He's fuming with anger. But now's the time to keep our little play short. Time to pull the rug under him.
— "Sorry but I have other things to attend to, like, making more enemies of the other gods and goddesses. Sorry, Mark. And bye-bye! Goodluck finding whatever your brother found!"
I immediately vanished him in a snap of a finger, sending him back to the Mortal Plain where he should be. How did he even get here in the first place? Whatever.
I turned my attention to Owens on the screen. He's been watching this boy cry for some time now to the point that his sense of time is all messy.
A thought crossed my mind.
— "Did he die again? Is this his second death? That's surprising... Really surprising, actually."
And so I naturally twisted reality and transported him back at that-dimly-lit-room-with-the-black-board-and-chalk, or just the Death Count Room for short. I'm so good at naming things.
But something is wrong, the room in question isn't lit at all and the chalk is missing, leaving the confused Owens in a dark room. And I'm starting to sense another thing that is wrong. It can't be him, can it? There's no way he's THAT angry about what I did to Owens.
I kept watching and watching to see that the room is lit back again but that feeling of another presence in the room is still lingering and only amplified when a red carpet is rolled to his feet along with a sound of marching and trumpets. What? Do I really need to step in the Mortal Realm to see what's really happening? Ugh...
In a snap of a finger, my coat-rack and lamp appeared out of thin air in front of me. I quickly donned my cloak and grabbed my lamp before jumping down to the door on the floor that leads to the Mortal Realm.
Only to realize that the Death Count Room isn't in the Mortal realm and now I'm in the middle of a farmer's market instead of a dark room. How did I even make this mistake? I created this world—maybe not created but reformed is the right word—I should know where that is! And it's between life and death!
I groaned before hopping again and as soon as my foot touched the ground, I immediately ended up in a dark room behind a young man. It's Owens, is it?
I walked in front of him and made the observation: Firstly, it is Owens. And secondly, he's stunned and confused. Why can't he see me? Oh, I forgot about the cloak. Mortals can't see them. How could I even forget that? Whatever–
*March!*
*March!*
*March!!!*
I started to hear the sound of marching and trumpets clearer. Even I'm confused. And Owens on the other hand was oddly terrified by the posing sounds of marching and blaring trumpets.
He remained frozen still like a statue for whatever reason. Maybe there are things beyond my knowledge as the "goddess of creation". For someone who is titled to have created everything, I sure as hell don't know everything I have created.
The marching suddenly stopped.
— "Is it over...?"
Owens asked... To whom exactly? There's no one else besides me and him–
— "No."
What. I need to see who this other person is. It can't be Mark, can it? He couldn't reach this realm. Maybe he had a few trouble getting back to my realm but I haven't disclosed this realm to anyone, not even the other gods—because why would I?
— "You cheated death once. I will not let you cheat twice, boy."
— "What? I cheated what?–Ohhh... Yeah. I did cheat once, now that I've thought about it–Wait! Just who are you?!"
This is getting interesting. Just who exactly is this person—or if it even is a person.
— "Death."
He's what? This cannot be good. I completely forgot about him. I won't let him touch Owens at any cost. I have to keep my little game running smoothly.
I stepped in front of Owens and turned on the lamp before removing the hood of my cloak, completely making me visible in a dark room like this.
— "Oh no! Not you again, Lida! What even is happening anymore?!"
— "Not you again, you wench! I'm not letting you say your piece this time because you've severed the fates of two people already! Just step aside and let me do my job or I'll have to kill a god for that?"
— "Exactly! Just leave me alone–No! Nevermind! Don't leave me alone, I don't want to die!"
— "Don't get too cocky now, Death. I won't let you touch my dearest~"

*Wake up... Wake up! Thank goodness his pulse came back! Just what's with you when you injected that to him?!*
