William woke up from his sleep, quickly rising from his bed he quickly looked around him as he saw Theodore, Helios, sleeping.
‘Huh? Guess the three of them stayed awake for a while after I slept.’ William thought as he looked at the two of them for a moment. ‘Wait, now that I mentioned it, where’s Pyry?’
After their discussion about Theodore repairing their weapons, William, Theodore, and Helios talked for a bit about other things as they stayed in the room for a bit before sleeping again after Beatrice entered the room and casted her healing magic once again at their wounds.
Leaving his bed, William stood up and began to stretch his arms and legs as he looked at the empty bed where Pyry was supposed to be at.
‘I wonder where Pyry is at?’ William thought as he looked at the empty bed before smiling. ‘Well I might as well try to find him,’ he thought.
William walked onwards a mirror that looked over at the entire city. As William was appreciating the view he looked up and saw that it was still very early in the morning as there was still no sunrise yet.
‘Huh, guess it’s still not morning.’ William thought as he looked at the sky. ‘Well I should still try to find where Pyry is.
William left the room where he along with Theodore and Helios were at and entered the halfway of the building. There were several lights that were on as it provided the halfway with just enough light to see.
William quickly walked to a wall that contained a map and William began to look at it as he began to think where Pyry would most likely be at.
‘Now where would he be?’ William thought to himself as he looked at the map. ‘I don’t know where he will be.’
William looked at the nmap for a while before deciding to go to the garden at the center of the clinic. Entering the garden known as the ‘Hanging Gardens of Beowulf’, this garden is famous to the entire city as it is the place where a majority of the city's most important flowers and plants are grown and cultivated into medicine.
William looked around the garden as he began to appreciate the layout and beauty of the garden. As William was looking around the garden however the further he went into the garden the more that he saw that there were some more footprints that were on the ground.
Following the footprints William walked towards the center of the garden with a single tree that was planted at the top of a small mound/.
It was quite the beautiful sight as William looked on and appreciated the simplistic beauty that the tree provided inside of the garden.
William looked at the tree for a few more m moments before looking down and saw none other than Pyry leaning at the tree with both of his hands crossed in front of him.
William turned his head as he looked at Pytry for a moment.
‘Huh, so that’s where he went.’ William thought to himself as he looked at Pyry.
Sensing that he was being watched, Pyry opened both of his eyes and saw William looking at him.
“... What are you doing here?” Pyry asked.
“I was looking for you.” William said as he walked towards Pyry and sat right beside him. “I was also wondering where you went.”
Pyry looked at William for a few moments before sighing.
“... I don’t like sleeping inside the room,”Pyry said.
William looked at Pyry in surprise for a moment. “Huh? Why?”
“I… don’t know.” Pyry said. “I don't know why but, everytime i’m inside of a room it feels like I’m being suffocated inside of it. I don’t know how to say it but-”
“Does it feel like a prison?” William said.
“...” Pyry said nothing as he thought for a moment at what William said. “Yeah, something like that. So that’s why every time I'm inside of a room I always have an urge to go out.”
William looked at Pyry for a moment before nodding, from what he knew Pyry didn’t seem to be the kind of person that talked to other people much. Singing to himself William stood up and looked down at Pyry.
“Well, it was nice talking to you, and since you don't want to be inside of a room I won’t force you to go back inside.” William said as he looked at Pyry.
“... ReallY?” Pyry said as he looked at William “You won’t force me to come alongside you?”
“No, besides I always believed that everyone has the freedom to choose what they want to do with their lives. As long as they don’t use their freedom to take away the freedom of other people, then I won’t interfere.” William explained as he looked at Pyry.
Pyry nodded at William’s words as he stayed behind.
William walked inside of the building and returned back to his room where both Theodore and Helium were at. Entering the room William saw that Theodore and Helios were still sound asleep.
William sighed as he looked at the two, moving to his bed William sat at his bed as he looked at the window as it was still dark outside. William sighed as he laid at his bed and drifted back off to sleep.
‘I should get some more sleep.’ William thought to himself as he drifted off to sleep on top of his bed.
————————————————————————————
Wilhelm walked across a long and cold halfway as the lights that covered the halfway illuminated this path, William walked in front of a door.
Entering the room Wilhelm saw that there was a table in the middle of the room and that there were all many chairs surrounding it. He was also greeted by Winston who was seated at one of the chairs.
Looking at Wilhelm, Winston greeted Wilhelm with both of his arms wide open.
“It’s nice to see you again Wilhelm, how was your talk with the headmaster.” Winston said as he looked at Wilhelm.
Wilhem walked towards his chair and sat down as he nodded.
“Yes I did, as for how the Headmaster took the results of the entrance exam, he took it surprisingly well. Although we did find a slight problem on one of them.” Wilhelm said as he held his head.
Winston crossed his arms as he looked at Wilhelm. “From your tone it sounds bad.”
“Oh you have no Idea.” Wilhelm said.
Winston chuckled as he looked at him, “Oh, really? Try me.”
Wilhelm then began to explain the whole situation. Winston nodded as he slowly understood why it was such a big problem.
“I… see, no wonder you called it a problem.” Winston said. “But with all problems there’s always a solution. So have you and the Headmaster talked to each other about what we should do?” Winston said.
Wilhlelm nodded, “Yes, we have. For now all we should do is to look after Theodore and investigate the whole situation before we respond..”
Winston nodded. “I see, so I trust that you're going to send Daniel to investigate Theodore?”
Wilhelm nodded. “Yeah, I was considering that. But I’m thinking of personally investigating it myself.
Winston perked up at Wilhelm’s words. “Oh really.” he said as he looked at Wilhelm
“Moving on, where are the others?” he asked.
Winston walked towards his seat and sat down. “The others are currently busy.” Winston responded. “Oscar is currently at the northern sector of Beowulf, Gunther is at his workshop working on some orders, Daniel is currently at the courtroom, Vannessa is currently at her laboratory working on some new medicine. And I trust that you know that Beatrice is at her clinic.”
Wilhelmn nodded as he listened to Winston's words. “I see. Well I guess that our teacher meeting would have to occur on a later date.”

Now as the early sun light beamed down at William he woke up. Quickly waking up he stood up and walked towards the nearest mirror and looked at himself before he began to work on his hair.
‘That should do it.’ William thought to himself.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
Behind him Helios woke up from his sleep and stood up from his bed. Noticing him William looked back at Helios and greeted him.
“Good morning Helios, how are you feeling?” William said as he looked at him.
Helios grunted. “I’m fine, still a little bit sleepy but I’m alright.” he said as he looked around him and before asking William. “Hey, where’s Pyry?”
Wiliiam nodded as he stood up from his bed and looked at him. “He left the room a while back, last I saw him, he was at the Hanging Gardens of Beowulf.” William answered.
Helios nodded as he understood what he said. “I see, is the garden as beautiful as the rumors say?”
William nodded as he looked at him. “Yeah we should go there when we have free time.”
As William and Helios were talking to each other Theodore finally woke up yawning up from his bed, Theodore looked at both William and Helios.
“Morning you two, did I miss anything?” Theodore asked.
William shakes his head, “Not really, Helios here had just woken up a bit earlier.”
Theodore nodded before looking at Helios and he quickly looked at Pyry’s bed and saw that he wasn't there. “Hey, whe-”
“He’s outside,”William said as he interrupted him.
“...I see.” Theodore said as he nodded, “What are we waiting for then let’s get out of here.”
Helios sighs "That's not how it works idiot.” he said, “We can't just leave this place unless Miss Beatrice discharges us.”
Theodore groaned, “Come, on., can’t she just come now and check on us and discharge us.”
Helios sighed as he pinched his nose. “That’s not how it works.”
William coughed as he took their attention, “On the bright side that doesn't mean we're confined here in this room we can actually leave this room anytime we want, so long as we dont leave this building. Anyway, while we're waiting for Miss Beatrice to discharge us, we should look for Pyry.”
Theodore nodded. “Sure I don't mind.”
Helios nodded.”Fine by me.”
William smiled as the three of them went out of their room and began to search for Pyry. As they were walking in a tonne of the hallways of the building Theodore looked at William for a moment before asking.
“So… what were we going to do when we found Pyry?” Theodore asked as he looked at him.
William shrugged, “I dunno, We’ll just wing it and figure it out later.”
“So we're just improvising as we go?” Helios said .
“Hah, it’s called winging it.” Theodore informed him.
“I don’t care.” Helios said “It’s not formal.”
The three then walked across the hallway as the three of them chatted some more talking about some miniscule thing that happened to interest them at the time.
Eventually the three of them would arrive at the Hanging Gardens of Beowulf. Therodore whistled as he looked at the view of the garden.
“Wow! The news was not lying when they say that this places one of the most beautiful gardens in the continent.” Theodre said as he admired the garden that he was currently seeing.
Helios, who was right beside him nodded as he also admired the beauty of the garden.
“It is beautiful, but I feel like there’s something missing here.” Helios said./
“Are you sure you're not delusional?” Theoodre said as he looked at Helios. ”Look at this place, it's perfect!”
“Theodore, there’s nothing in the world that’s perfect.” Helios respond.
Helios looked at Theodore as the two of them slowly began to argue. William looked at the two of them for a moment and sweatdropped.
‘The two of them seem to argue a lot.’ William thought to himself as he looked at the two. ‘I should look for Pyry while those two are arguing.’
As Helios and Theodore were busy arguing with each other William began searching for Pyry, Walking down the garden William marveled at the beauty of the garden once again.
‘I probably won't get tired of seeing this.’ William thought to himself. ‘Now, where’s Pyry?’
William began to search where Pyry was at, originally he figured that Pyry would be where he found him earlier in the morning but he was soon disappointed as Pyry was nowhere there.
William stood right in the center of the garden and began to think where Pyry was at. Behind him Theodore and Helios wal;ked up to him.
Theodore playfully began to poke him in his shoulder catching his attention.
“Huh?” William looked behind him only to see Theodore and Helios. “Oh, it's the two of you. Are you two done arguing?”
“Partially, we’ll settle this later.” Helios said. “So, did you find Pyry?”
William shakes his head, “Sadly I didn't find him. I know he was here last night but right now I don’t know where he could be.”
Helios looked at William for a moment before nodding in understanding. “Well, since we can’t find him we should go find a mapo here and go from there.”
William nodded. “Good idea, come on guys let's go.”
William, Theodore, and Helios began searching for a map and quickly they found a map fixed to a wall.
“Let’s see here…” Willia,m said as he looked at the map carefully. “We're currently at the center, the reception and waiting area is at the south. There’s a research facility in the north, there's an operating room at the east side of the building, and a fighting area?”
“Fighting area?” Helios said in surprise. “Are you sure you read that right? Let me see.”
“I don’t think Liam is lying, just look at that.” Theodorer said as he p[ointed at the map that designated a fighting area.
“‘Liam’?” William said as he looked at Theodore.
“Yeah, I just shortened your name by removing the will in your name and just calling you Liam. Can I call you ‘Liam’ if you're not ok with it I can still call you William.” Theodore said.
William smiled. “No it’s alright you can call me Liam, I don’t mind.” William said before he began to silently mumble to himself. “... I think.”
“Huh. I guess you were not lying.” Helios said as he looked at the map. “ From what I know about Pyry he seems to be the type to like fighting. I’m guessing that he’s most likely at the training field.”
“I agree with Leo.” Theodore said.
“What did you just call me?” Helios said as he looked at Theodore.
“I called you ‘Leo’. What's the problem with that? Besides, you act like a lion most of the time so I think Leo fits you.” Theodore said as he looked back at Helios.
Helios looked at Theodore for a moment, before he sighed and looked away. “Whatever, call me whatever you like so long as you're not insulting me I don't care.” he said before looking at William. “So, are we going to the fighting area?”
William thought for a few moments before nodding, “Sounds like a plan, The three of us are going to the fighting area. Let’s go.”
The three of them began to quickly go to the fighting area. As the three of them were walking toward there Wiliam turned around and looked at Theodore and Helios.
“So, what are your plans once you are discharged?” William asked as he looked at the.
“I don’t know, to get into a dorm.” Theodore sarcastically said.
Helios sighed in frustration as he looked at Theodore. “I can’t believe that I'm going to be living with someone like you.”
Theodore and William looked at Helios for a moment. Noticing their gazes Helios began to explain to the two of them.
“Allow me to explain, Grayfield Academy has dorms across the entire city. Now to live at one of their dorms, the person must either be a student or employee of the Academy.” Helios said. “Naturally all of the dorms all have rent, so all staff and students that live in a Grayfield dorm and must pay their rent to stay and live in the dorms except for two groups of people, Hunter students and the professors. Since the four of us including Pyry are training to be Hunters, the four of us are going to be given a dorm building to live in for free.”
“Did you say free?!?” Theodore said as he looked at Helios.
“Yes, it is indeed free.” Helios confirmed.
William looked at Helios before asking, “Tell me how many people can live in a dorm building?”
Helios cupped his chin and began to think, “If I remember correctly, a dorm building can house about 16-20 students, so an entire classroom. So more than likely our other classmates are going to live in the same building as us.”
William nodded. “I see, thanks Helios.”
“Don’t mention it.” Helios said.
The three eventually arrived at the fighting area as there they quickly found Pyry right in the center of the fighting area sparring someone that looked like a slightl;y older version of him, just without the wolf like features that Pyry has.
“You're already exhausted, it's been 30 minutes since we started. Is this all you're capable of ?!?” The unknown person shouted as he sent a flurry of kicks at Pyry.
Pyry quickly reacted by raising both of his arms and blocked each attack and quickly counterattacked at the unknown person. The two of them continued their sparring as William and the other two watched on.
“Looking good Pyry.” Theodore said as he looked at Pyry.
“Not quite.” Helios said. “He’s losing.”
“Huh? How?” Theoodre asked.
“Look at the two, Pyry looks exhausted and the other guy doesn't seem to be as exhausted as Pyry. Not only that, he's also the one that seems to be controlling the entire fight.”
“Making it so that Pyry would have a much longer time finding a chance to breathe in and control himself.” Helios added.
Eventually the unknown person grew tired and sent a quick and powerful kick right in Pyry’s abdomen, knocking him out.
As Pyry fell to the ground, he was caught by the unknown person. The unknown person sighed as he carried Pyry on his shoulder, turning around he saw William and the others and raised one of his eyebrows at them as he tried to recognise them.
“...” He looked at the three of them for a few moments before his eyes lit up with recognition. “Are the three of you the people Pyry was talking about earlier?”
“I don’t know what you and Pyry were talking about… But I guess we are?” William said.
The unknown person looked at them before quickly nodding. “I’ll take that as a yes.” he said as he walked towards them as he carried Pyry on his back. “I am Oscar Windischmann, but please call me Oscar. And if the three of you would excuse me I’ll take Pyry here to Beatrice.”
Then he quickly went past the three of them, still carrying Pyry on his back as he went towards Beatrice. William and the other two looked at Oscar for a moment before Theodore spoke.
“Well, that was surprising.” Theodore said.
“Tell me about it.”
“Agreed”
————————————————————————————
‘So those three are the people that Pyry was talking about.’ Oscar thought to himself as he carried Pyry on his shoulder.
Currently he was bringing a knocked out and unconscious Pyry towards Beatrice. He sighed to himself as he silently prepared himself to be berated later by bothe Beatrice and her sister.
‘On the bright side I was able to meet Pyry’s new friends, they seem nice.’ Oscar thought to himself. ‘And if I’m not mistaken those three are also going to be my students alongside Pyry. Well this is going to be fun.’
Oscar continued to carry the unconscious Pyry on his shoulder as he went to where he thinks Beatrice is located. Eventually he came across a door that had a sign that said ‘ Beatrice currently in here please knock first before entering.’.
Oscar sighed as he knocked on the door three times before raising one of his feet and kicking the door open and walking right inside.
As he entered a gauntlet suddenly appeared and he quickly dodged to the right as smiled.
“It's nice to see you still have the skills to be a hunter, Beatrice.” Oscar said as he looked at the person who tried to punch him.
“Oscar… What are you doing here?” Beatrice said as she looked at Oscar.
“I am here because I need you to treat this young man's injuries.” Osacar said as he motioned and presented the unconscious Pyry to Beatrice.
Beatrice looked at the knocked out Pyry before looking at Oscar for a moment.
“Sometimes I wonder how you became his guardian?” Beatrice said to him.
“Maybe because I'm the most eligible to raise him.” Oscar said.
“I doubt that.” Beatrice said. “So how’s Vannessa?”
“Busy, she’s currently at the medical building at the school, working alongside with the other teachers grading all of the test papers from the entrance exam.” Oscar explained.
Beatrice nodded. “I see. Well now that’s done, may I have my nephew now Oscar.”
Oscar sighed. “You do know that he’s not mine and Vannessa’s biological kid, right?”
“I know, it's just that the two of you act more like parents to Pyry than you two realize.” Beatrice said.
“Yeah, yeah whatever. Here you can have Pyry.” Oscar said as he handed the still unconscious Pyry to Beatrice.
“Thank you,” Beatrice said as he grabbed Pyry from Oscars hands. “Take care Oscar.”
“Yeah, yeah whatever.”
————————————————————————————
At the same time William and the other two were currently looking around.
"Oh what do you think this does?” Theodore asked as he looked at an unknown object that was in the fighting area.
“Don’t even think of touching that Theodore.” Helios said as he looked at him.
Theodoore sighed in frustration. “Ugh you like my mother with all that nagging.”
“What was that?”
“Nothing.”
William sighed as he watched Theodore and Helios begin to talk with each other once again. This time he hopes that those two won’t resort toi arguing at each other's faces.
Walking in front and looking around a bit more and saw something that was displayed on the wall, a silver shield with a green cross on the shield itself. William looked at the shield a bit more before someone walked right up to him.
“I see that you are looking at the hospital’s symbol.” Beatrice said as she walked towards him.
“Symbol?” William asked.
“Yes, this shield right here is the symbol of this hospital.” She said as she looked at the shield that was displayed. “Originally the shield was wielded by a priest who fought along with Lady Florentia during the Great Reconquest.”
“He fought alongside Lady Florentia? I guess he must be famous.” William said.
Beatrice nodded, “Yes, very much so. But among all of the people that fought alongside her, the priest was more often than not mostly forgotten. Despite that the priest would help revolutionize medical practices that help save millions of lives. Back then medicine and proper treatment techniques were not as refined or known, but thanks to the priest he was able to solve most of that and helped save many people.”
”He sounds like a great person, Lady Beatrice, what’s his name?” William said.
“Beatrice looked at the shield silently before smiling and looking down. “I don’t know.”
“Wait… You don’t know?” William said, perplexed at the fact that she doesn't even know the name of the person that she admired.
Beatrice nodded. “Yes I do not know. From what I know the priest said to many people that he didn’t want to be famous, he didn't want his name to be written in history, he just wanted to be known as a person that helped and treated people. And the historians respected that by simply referring to him as the ‘Great Priest of the Reconquest” or the Priest for short.”
“Did all historians respect his wishes?” William said.
Beatrice shaked her head and sighed. “Sadly I don’t think all historians cared about his opinion and it was said that a few historians and people wrote down his name on their books about history. But those books are in the minority. So I shouldn't worry that much.”
William nodded as he looked at the shield, “So, what does that represent? The shield.”
“The shield represents protection, safety and security. On the hand the cross inside of the shield represents commitment, duty, and action.” Beatrice explained. “All aspiring doctors, nurses, surgeons, and other medical professions all swear an oath to themselves and to the world to represent protection, safety, and security. And to commit to ourselves to serve our duty to be faithful, to be honest, and to value and save as many people as possible.
“I see,” William nodded. “You seem to be proud.”
Beatrice nodded before silently chuckling to herself. “Yes, yes I am. You and your friends should return back to your rooms tomorrow and you along with the others are going to be discharged and be picked up by Wilhelm.”
William nodded before looking at her. “I understand, we’ll be returning back to our rooms. By the way, where are Dolian and his friends at?”
“They are currently in another room.” Beatrice responded.
William nodded. “Well I should properly go and pick up both Theodore and Helios. I’ll see you later, Miss Beatrice!”
William said before walking away to go and pick up Theodore and Helios. As William came closer to one of the doors he saw both Theodore and Helios patiently waiting for him there.
Seeing William , Theodore would call out to him.
“HeyWilliam! We're here!” He called out.
Helios covered his mouth using one of his hands . “Shut Your mouth you idiot we're in a medical facility at least give the patients here some respect and be quiet.”
Theodore shrugged. “Of course I know to be quiet when inside of a hospital. And I also know that this specific place doesn't have many people to begin with.” he said as he removed Helios’s hand from his mouth. “And trust me I checked whether or not there are people here and I saw no one.”
William walked towards the two as he chuckled a bit at the two of them. “Come on guys, we should probably return back to our room and rest. The three of us already had an eventful evening.”
Theodore and Helios would nod as the three of them would quickly return back to their room shortly thereafter to rest and wait until they were discharged by Beatrice.
