Side story #1:
“Mother, could you tell me the story of the calamity of the walled fort Alevia?” asks a young boy.
“Do you really want a story like that for your bedtime story?” asks the mother.
“Yes, mother. I want this story.” responds the boy.
“Very well…” starts the mother. “The walled fort Alevia fell within 5 days and 4 nights. It is said that a day before this fateful day began 10 years ago, a man, dressed in commoner's clothing sneaked into the fort. He went by the name of Eldritch. Seeing the cities depraved games of using guards in fights between each other, and fighting to their dying breath while their masters only watched caused this man to weep with sadness. And so he decided that he would apply as a guard and destroy their depraved games. Upon applying, he was assigned the worst of all master, the master who had gotten the largest amount of their guards killed. She was ruthless and secretly contacted other contractors to have her guard killed. On the day that the alliance attacked however, Eldritch retaliated and the alliance was defeated. But people were attracted to the dying screams of the men. And they brought with them, their guards, and ordered their guards to kill him. Thinking that if they were able to kill him, they would earn more fame and thus increase their income. But contrary to what the people thought, Eldritch himself was not a human. He was an ascended being who had taken a mortal form. And he destroyed them all. But alas, because of his mortal form, he fell and died soon after destroying the city and ascended to the heavens above.”

After thinking for a while, the boy asks, “Do you think he’ll be back one day?”
“He’ll be back if you keep being a bad boy. Now go to sleep, my child.” The mother says.
Turning around the mother whispers to herself, “After all, you did complete your dream, didn’t you Eldritch.”
The boy who had been listening closely opened his eyes wide in surprise in what his mother had said. But when his mother turned around to make sure that he was sleeping, he quickly closed his eyes. And soon, sleep overcame him.
