12: I'll change the script! {part 1}

"What is this fuss all about?" Vivienne yawned, her eyes still half-closed. "Did the weak eyes get another bad dream?" she asked Rubianna, who seemed quite concerned about something. Maria was crying on Marcus's shoulder, who was also crying. Cassey was trying to console both of them while the staff gathered around, looking concerned.

"Oh, Miss Vivienne, you're here too!" Rubianna replied. "Mr. Void and Cassey were chatting earlier, but suddenly Void's health got bad. Cassey called out to us, and when we came..."

Vivienne narrowed her eyes. "We saw him muttering to himself. When we took him to his room, he was silent, holding his head. Even the doctor was confused."

Meanwhile, Void Middletown, the adopted son of Maria Middletown, was lost in his thoughts.

"Void Middletown, that's who I am!" he thought. "If I'm correct, this character is destined to die as a side character. But this is not actually the mess of the Otogame! The game was female-oriented, which I played in my last life because a colleague forced me. Vivienne Middletown and Cassey Heart are the heroine interests, played by gamers. But the crazy thing is, I should've died in the battle with Brandy."

This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.

"If I remember correctly, after hearing the truth that Void is not Maria's child, he betrays her in the fight with Brandy and kills Maria. This enrages Vivienne, who then kills Void! Later, she becomes best friends with Rubianna Walmsley, the female villainess. Rubianna is not someone my character should meet! And yet, here I am, changing the script of the game!" Void let out a chuckle.

While Void was lost in his monologue, he didn't realize he was speaking aloud. Maria, Marcus, Cassey, Rubianna, and Vivienne were all staring at him from the doorway.

"What the hell is he blabbering about?" Vivienne said.

"Young master was calling out everyone's name, but why was I left alone?" Marcus asked, biting his napkin.

"Why was he saying something about me being killed?" Maria said, tears streaming down her face.

"Did he just call me a villainess and Miss Vivienne a heroine interest?" Rubianna cried at his comment while Vivienne blushed hard. "What did I do wrong to him?"

"Why wasn't I even mentioned in his comment?" Cassey said, tears coming down her face too. "Am I no one to him?"

Void got up from the bed he was resting on with firm motivation and fire in his eyes. "I'll change the script!" he declared.
