Should the MC be a boy or a girl?

I don't think i ever specified the gender of the mc, which by the way won't change their personality but might give them different opportunities, and even if i did it was probably a typo though i'll admit that i had a boy in mind at first but i think it'll be ok if i stick with the personality i have in my head.
