Hello, this time since its pretty obvious what race is most preferred, I am going to write a bit on how the dragons live and their culture to give you guys a better idea of the dragon country and society

The country of dragons

In the world of Afuria, filled with a large diversity of different sentient races, animals and monsters, with countless lands across the seas or split into continents governed by different kingdoms and races, where magic and might influenced the rise and fall empires.

There in this wondrous place was located the mountain country of Dravan Iith, covered in lush forests and humongous mountains that reach the sky, only one race had a kingdom in this bountiful land, as non of the other races were more powerful and more mighty than the elusive dragon race.

The bodies and prowess of dragons

Prideful beasts with shocking intelligence and a godly affinity to magic, with powerful bodies and claws that could tear down stone and metal as if made of nothing but butter, from the size of mansions to the size of mountains the dragons were a supreme race.  Their bodies the shape of giant lizards with large dense scales, they usually had from one to 4 pairs of horns which curved and were placed uniquely to each dragon, their faces were long and usually rectangular, their eyes tend to vary between cat or lizard type eyes. They walked on all fours and had a massive pair of bat-like wings, their claws large and fangs were razor sharp and stronger than most metals in this world. Their forelegs were usually human like and had opposable thumbs while their back legs were more like a t-rex's but longer and they stood on their toes. Though usually on all fours, dragons were capable of standing up straight but due to living in "compact" places such as underground and in caves they tend to favour using all four. Their streamlined bodies all had a long and powerful tail that tend to equal the length of their head to the start of their tales, which usually ended in a sharp  tip though there were exceptions. Dragons came in all colours and sizes as they keep growing the longer they live, some had reached the size of mountains and legend says that some rivalled the size of planets but before they grow to that level they leave their world, while their colour is depending on their soul type, those with souls which had particularly high fire affinity ha red, burning  coloured scales and so on with all the other affinities.

Apart from their physical power they also had large magical power, even with their specific magic affinity they had access to other types of magic but their particular affinity was what they would excel in. they also can use magic instinctively without chanting which plagued most of the other sentient races.

Short coming and weakness of Dragons

Though dragons are naturally powerful, because of that power they had a harder time growing past the power they had once they reached maturity (16 years), and had to spend thousands of years to grow significantly in power but one dragon still had the power to raze small cities at least. The other races who usually started weaker than dragons have a higher potential to grow which in some legends had individuals which surpassed some of the dragons.

They also have very low birth rate where a typical brood is made once every dozen years and had around 16 to 30 eggs.

They are also typically prideful  and arrogant and as such are not usually living in groups but in pairs as lovers or as loners and send their offspring to the dragon mother to raise. Most dragons do not know their birth parents until they reach maturity where if they are considered worthy are claimed and join their birth parents clan.

Habitat and home of dragons

Dragons seem to have primitive housing, living in the underground and in caves and if one was to journey inside there homes (apart for being burned alive and eaten for trespassing ) they would see nothing but a plain old cave with no obvious decoration or personal treasure.

But do not be fooled for the dragons are creatures with advanced intelligence and have the capability for great ingenuity, but due to their massive and strong bodies and near immortality they needed no tools for comfort and aid such as pillows and beds or swords and machines, their scales kept them comfortable on all grounds; uneven or rocky, and kept their bodies safe from most harm while their claws and fang tend to shred through anything, nor did they need any aids or medicine as they had large physical and magical prowess and high immunity to most diseases and poisons.

Broods

The eggs of dragon were mostly given to a caretaker (mostly always female) called a Dragon Mother; a particularly nurturing and motherly dragon. The Dragon mother would look after their "brood", keeping the eggs warm and safe until they hatched and then nursing them till they were used to movement, even though their bodies are capable of movement and strenuous tasks from hatching they still need to get used to moving their bodies. After this the Dragon Mother teaches them about their laws and other things such as math and history, after this brood are introduced to their Dragon Father (usually male) and trained in combat and hunting while their Dragon Mother teaches them non-combat skills and uses for their magic.

Quirks of Dragons

A dragon body though made of flesh is genetically dependent on the type of soul the dragon body is a vessel for, the stronger the soul, the stronger the dragons power when mature.

Due to their body being genetically dependent on their soul type and the fact that most eggs are sent to broods, they do not have the concept of siblings or relatives except when adopted into their birth parents clans or in rare cases someone else clan, even with this in-breeding in clans is not uncommon and unlike other races does not effect birth.

They do not distinguish between genders as they see each other as individuals except when bunching up the weak which are culled to prevent any shame to the dragon clans.
