The moon had dipped into the darkness, casting a velvety blackness over the ravaged village now in flames.
The villagers, battered and bruised, cowered behind their crumbling defenses as the bandits launched a fierce assault under the cover of night.
The once-peaceful streets were now a scene of chaos, the only sounds being the clash of steel on steel and the terrified cries of the villagers.
As the villagers faced the relentless onslaught of the bandits, their defenses crumbling and hope fading just when it seemed like all hope was lost.
Suddenly, A brilliant light burst forth from the star-filled sky, bathing the landscape in an ethereal radiance. The darkness seemed to recoil in the face of this sudden illumination, as if reality itself was being rewritten. It was so bright that it filled the sky as it illuminated the lands, the source can be traced from atop of the village's sky as it's light then stretched unto the outskirts and finally to the forest.
It loomed over everyone as they looked up in awe and disbelief as a radiant figure appeared above them, bathed in an ethereal glow and his light slightly obscured his appearance yet still recognizable with the outlines can still be seen resembling a humanoid shape.
Time itself seemed to slow as the villagers and bandits alike became lost in the majesty of this otherworldly being, everyone was filled with a sense of awe, fear and wonder. The air was heavy with anticipation, as if everyone held their collective breath in reverence. The only sound was the soft hum of energy emanating from the figure above – a gentle vibration that seemed to resonate deep within their souls.
The moment stretched out like an eternity, filled with an unspoken understanding that this presence wasn't like any other. The villagers' initial fear gave way to a sense of awe and wonder as they beheld this enigmatic being. It was as if they had stumbled into a dreamworld
Their moment of appreciation won't be long lived as suddenly, the silence was shattered by the being's voice, its tone authoritative and commanding. The words "Greetings, Children!" echoed across the plains, sending a shockwave through the air that shook the very earth beneath their feet. The villagers and bandits alike were jolted back to reality, their minds reeling from the sudden interruption.
As the being spoke, its voice boomed like thunder, commanding attention and respect. "Fret not! For I have come to your aid!" The declaration was met with a mixture of awe, fear, and hope from the villagers, while the bandits' eyes grew wide with terror as they hesitated in their advance.
The being's next words cut through the air like a scythe, leaving a trail of dread in its wake. "You have brought destruction and suffering to this peaceful village," it thundered. "For this, you shall face the consequences of your actions." The very fabric of reality seemed to vibrate with the being's authority, sending shivers down the spines of every soul present.
Bandits cowered in fear, paralyzed by the weight of the being's words. Even some attempted to flee, but their feet seemed rooted to the spot. Meanwhile, some of the bandits tried to make a hasty retreat, only to freeze in their tracks as they heard the god's declaration. It was as if time itself had slowed down, allowing them to see every second tick by like an eternity.
And then, in an instant, they collapsed to the ground, their bodies lifeless and still. The villagers watched in bewilderment as they wondered if they had actually died or were simply left unconcious. The air was heavy with anticipation as they awaited further instructions from the enigmatic being.
The being's voice boomed once more, its tone dripping with menace. "Is there anyone who'd wish to run away?" The words seemed to reverberate through every molecule of air, imbuing them with an otherworldly energy that made it seem as if time itself was bending to its will.
As the being shone brighter still, its radiance illuminated every face on the battlefield, bathing them in an eerie light that seemed to hold their very souls captive. But little do they know that its brilliance only served as a distraction orchestrated by that same being.
As the being's divine light illuminated the lands, two figures emerged, one on each side. Inside the village, a portal of bright light suddenly appeared from the skies, there emerged from it a knight clad in shimmering armor, with wings of light unfurled from his back, descended to aid the villagers. His sword gleamed with divine power as he marched past the villagers whilst carrying authority of the one above him.
The bandits infront of him that got on his way couldn't move because their feet that is stuck to the ground their body paralyzed by their fear and wonder, were suddenly struck down with righteous fury leaving no traces of them as if they never existed.
Brooke saw the spectacle, not knowing what to do as he only watched as the Knight slowly make his way towards the bandit leader as the his underlings make way for the knight not wanting to end up with the same fate as their comrades.
Soon a stand off between the two began as everyone on both sides turned their eyes towards them.
Meanwhile at the forest and at the same place where Cindy was about to be ravaged by the Bandits, they were also stopped at their tracks as they heard the disturbing cries of their fellow Bandits screaming from afar as blinding light flashes like a blink
There were also grunts and yells can be heared that signifies signs of struggle in their battle.
But As the third flash began to erupt, the screams can no longer be heard only an eerie silence filled the forest. The sudden shift of the atmosphere left them quite disturbed and horrified
It was so unnaturally quiet, with just the rustling of air can be heard making the atmosphere more eerie and tense
But as the bandits saw what has taken place, they thought it wouldn't be wise to just stick around and find out, so one of them suddenly decided to run away in panic and horror for what has taken place. "I don't know what it is! But I'm not going to stick around and find out!!" He said as he runs away in fear not knowing which direction he'd go, but as long as it's away from here he'd do it.
"Waait for mee!!" The other one followed suit
"Oii come back you-" The one in front tried to stop them but it was too late, as their figures slowly descend into the forest's darkness until they can no longer be seen and their footsteps can no longer be heard
Moments later, only silence filled the area as if they weren't here to begin with. Until suddenly, blood curling screams erupted from there. Cries for help was the last thing that came out from that direction, until the sound was no more.
Fear slowly crept up to him, his every fibre of his being shivers from what he just witnessed. Yet deep down he felt a slight relief knowing he didn't come with them, otherwise it would be him that would end up sharing the same fate with them.
Soon something else was heard from the same direction the bandits were, a voice.
"You, aren't you going to run away?" His voice echoed throughout the forest with a menacing tone
The Last bandit remaining saw what has taken place, now took this chance to reason with him.

He was lucky he didn't came running with his comrades so he'd use this opportunity and every chance to survive as he kneels down and begs for forgiveness to the unknown being
"I-I will change!! I will not do it again please just spare mee!!" Cries were answered in silence, but he never stopped and continued to beg.
Cindy was left in stunned silence by the sudden change of nature by the bandit. People like him are weak to the strong and strong to the weak, it was such a pathetic sight to see him grovel to the ground for mercy after everything he was just about to do.
"I will do anything you ask of me! Please just spare meee~!!" As that cried sounded that of a whaling child, tears were dripping on his as snot was visible under his nose
He continued crying until suddenly, a pillar of blue fire appeared infront of him with a voice can be heard alongside the waves of flames, "The more you do that the more I am inclined to burn you, I swear my ears are going to hurt from all this whining." as it then revealed the being, but his faced was obscured with light yet the shape of his hair visible
a mage draped in robes of ethereal light appeared
"I beg of you, spare mee!" As he said yet again to the being infront of him who now released a threatening aura, "When that girl pleaded the same way you did, did you spare her?" Then the mage lifts his right hand below his shoulder the level, there manifests him wielding magic that danced and crackled around his fingertips.
"Wait!!" As he was about to say plead yet again he was then burnt to ashes as the mage casted a chantless fire magic that engulfs him on a pillar of flames, until he was no more.
The being turned and looked at the Cindy laying at the ground who is still at a shock from what she had seen, the being then spoke with a tone of authority and conviction, "You're saved now, go! Gather the others and return to the village!"
"Y-yes!" Cindy replied in a high pitched tone, flustered by the sudden command.
"I'll leave it to you," as the being dissappears into thin air, nowhere to be seen.
The scene then shifts to the standoff between the ethereal knight and the Bandit leader that began in the heart of the village square, where villagers and bandits alike watched in awe and fear. The knight, clad in shimmering armor that seemed to glow with an otherworldly light, faced off against the bandit leader, a formidable foe known for his brutality and cunning.
The villagers and bandits stood in tense silence, unsure of what was about to unfold. The knight and the bandit leader locked eyes, the bandit leader was contemplating whether he would beg for his life and throw away his dignity or fight to the death even knowing there's no chance of winning
As the silence passed he then made a choice, a silent challenge passing between, but before he would do anything reckless he would first ask, "Am I really not going to be spared even I yeild?" the bandit leader says, his voice laced with anxiety. The knight said nothing
"Then I'll take your silence as a no.." He said with a dejected tone
He knew the ethereal knight before him was no ordinary foe, and fear gnawed at the edges of his confidence.
The bandit leader, sensing the weight of the moment, tried to buy himself time by waiting to see who would make the first move. He hoped to gauge the knight's skill and intentions before committing to battle.
But his hesitation only served to fuel the tension in the air, as the villagers and bandits watched in silence, holding their breath.
The ethereal knight, on the other hand, remained calm and composed, his gaze steady and unwavering despite his face covered in that golden helm. He sensed the bandit leader's fear and uncertainty as he waited for him to make the first move.
After a few tense moments, the bandit leader's resolve crumbled, and he made a reckless move, lunging forward with his hammer. The knight was ready, however, and as the bandit leader swung his hammer with all his might, aiming for a decisive blow against the ethereal knight, a hushed silence fell over the battlefield.
The villagers and bandits alike watched in awe as the knight stood unmoving, his armor gleaming in the moonlight, seemingly unscathed by the bandit's reckless attack.
The hammer struck the knight's armor with a deafening clang, sending sparks flying in all directions. But to everyone's amazement, the knight remained standing, his posture unwavering, as if the blow had barely registered.
The bandit, his eyes widening in disbelief, staggered back, his confidence shattered. He swung the hammer again and again, each blow more desperate than the last, but the knight didn't even bother to dodge or parry. It was as if he was invincible, his defense impenetrable
Slowly, a sense of fear and awe spread through the crowd. The villagers whispered among themselves, their voices filled with wonder and fear. The bandits, once filled with bravado, now looked on in stunned silence, realizing that they were facing a foe unlike any they had ever encountered.
In the end, it was the bandit leader who fell to his knees, defeated and broken, his hammer slipping from his grasp. The knight stood before him, a silent sentinel, his armor untouched, a symbol of his unyielding strength and unwavering resolve.
Baldwin then scoffs at the sight of the helpless bandit as he is now in the situation he was before, "Look how the tables have turned"
As the knight in a swift and fluid motion, he drew his sword, a blade wreathed in flames that cast a warm, flickering light over the battlefield.
With a mighty swing, the knight brought his sword down in a sweeping arc, sending a wave of blazing energy hurtling towards the bandit. The wave of fire surged forward with incredible speed, illuminating the night sky with its fiery glow.
The bandit, still on his knees, could only watch in horror as the wave of flames engulfed him, the intense heat washing over him like a tidal wave. He cried out in agony as the flames consumed him, his body writhing in pain.
And then, as quickly as it had begun, the flames disappeared, leaving only a smoldering heap where the bandit leader had once stood. The knight stood over him, his sword still ablaze, a silent testament to his power and skill.
As the flames from the ethereal knight's sword subsided, a hushed silence fell over the battlefield. The knight stood tall and unmoved, his fiery sword held aloft, its light casting long shadows over the stunned bandits.
Then, in a voice that rang out like thunder, the knight spoke, his words commanding and authoritative. "For the rest of you bandits, none will of you will spared today!" he declared, his voice echoing across the battlefield.
"In the name of the heavens," the knight's voice boomed, echoing across the land with a divine authority, "your crimes have been judged, and your fate sealed."
The bandits, their faces pale with fear, looked up at the knight in disbelief, realizing that their plea for mercy would fall on deaf ears. The knight's gaze was unwavering, his expression stern and unyielding.
"With hearts filled with malice and hands stained with innocent blood, you are unworthy of redemption," the knight proclaimed, his voice thundering with divine wrath. "May the heavens judge you accordingl-
"..."
Then as if something interuppted him silence suddenly rose, as the knight looked up the sky to where the light was, as if he were listening to it. Then he answered, "understood"
Everyone around the village, both bandits and villagers alike have bore witness to what was happening and are left confused. They didn't know what kind of fate the being has in store of them. But one things for certain, they all eagerly await and anticipated the answers the knight would convey through the commands of the one above him for whom they cannot defy.
