Closing the stream she was watching, A certain young woman stood up from her chair and dialed a specific number.
"Hello, Hassel, It's me. I have an errand to take care of, Watch after things for a day." And without waiting for the person on the other end to respond, she hang up, walked out of her office, and headed to the ground floor.
She had ancient Ruins to investigate.

As soon as Dendra and I returned to Alfronda and got off her Tauros, we sat down on a bench and laid back.
"That was a lot of Tinkatink," Dendra mubled.
"Uhuh," I nodded in agreement, Fanny already rubbing my back with her tail.
"There should not have been that many Tinkatink in that area," She said, and I once more nodded my head in agreement.
"I'm sorry you couldn't get to film the ruins," She then said, and I finally noticed how out of it she seemed.
The always loud and boisterous Dendra was sitting down, barely saying a word, talking at a normal volume.
That isn't how Dendra is supposed to act.
"Are you okay?" I ask her, and she turns her head to look at me.
"Am I okay? You're the one who wanted to go to the ruins! You're the one who had to evacuate because of those Tinkatink! Why are you asking me?!" She asked loudly, tears pooling in her eyes.
"Yeah, I'm the one who wanted to visit the place, but right now it looks like you're the one who's taking this experience worse than me," I told her.
After looking at my face for a few seconds, Dendra sighed and turned her head away.
"I should have dealt with that situation better," She whispered, "Maybe if I gave Trooper better instructions, we wouldn't have had to leave,"
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
After she said that, the two of us simply sat on that bench in silence for a few minutes, not saying a word.
Before a thought came to me suddenly.
"You wanna, Grab some coffee?" I asked her, and she coughed in surprise as she turned to look at me.
"Wha?" She tried to ask a question but her brain short-circuited or something, so I continued.
"I mean, I don't really get my paycheck 'till next week, so You're the one who'll have to pay," I told her before smiling slightly, "But I mean, I think it would make you feel better," I paused when I felt my cheeks flush before looking away, "Or something," I mumbled that last part.
"..."
"..."
And as the two of us sat on that bench, the only sound being the Salandit on my back moving her tail around, Dendra broke out a small chuckle.
And then a laugh.
And then she slapped my shoulder and pulled me in to a sideways hug, a large smile on her face as she laughed all the while.
"Yosh! Tomorrow after work, I'll pick you up!" She said with a smile before leaping off the bench, her bright and boisterous smile back on her face as she looked down at me.
I smiled up at her, glad to see that my friend is feeling better at the expense of my embarrassment.
"Its a date then," I told her.
And she nodded.
"Its a date."
And after that exchange, we parted way.
With Dendra going back to her Dad's house, and me back to the Battle Hotel.
"Salandit?"
"Sure thing Fanny, I'll put on that documentary for you when we're back,"
And that was how my first month in Paldea ended,
With plans to grab coffee with a good friend.

Hearing the doors to the Battle Hotel open, Dee turned her head to look at who walked in, Not expecting someone to visit this late in the day.
"Indeedee?" She asked the tall woman entered the building with a surprisingly genuine smile.
"Hello, Can I speak to Lorenz?" The black-haired woman asked the short Psychic type receptionist, her Blue and Yellow eyes looking at the Pokemon.
"Indeedee," The Pokemon nodded her head before lifting her ears as if they were Antennae, her eyes glowing a soft purple.
And as she waited in the lobby of the Battle Hotel, The woman took out her phone and scrolled into her videos app, re-watching a short clip she saved from earlier in the day.
A clip showcasing two trainers running away from an army of Tinkatink outside of the Alfronda Ruins.
"How troublesome," She whispered as she re-watched the clip, trying to count how many of the Tinkaton line she could see.
After a few minutes of counting, she closed the app and tucked her phone away, Content to wait in silence for the Psychic Gym Leader to show up.
And she was content to wait however long she may need,
Because if 'Top Champion "La Primera" Geeta' was anything,
it was Patient.
