"I don't like this," Gym Leader Lorenz said as he watched the person in front of him sipping from a cup of spicy tea.
"Liking it or not won't change that an investigation into the Mass Outbreak of the Tinkatink line is required, Not only to find a solution to the overpopulation of the Pokemon but also to find the reason it is happening," The person sitting in front of Lorenz said as she lay the cup she was drinking from down,
Lorenz frowned at that, "Fine, But I can't handle the investigation right now, with the end of the school year coming along an influx of challenges for the badge has arrived," He explained with a grim face, "I'm fully booked for at least the next two weeks,"
"That's fine, You do have gym trainers that could assist us in your place," The person said as she crossed her knees and relaxed on her chair.
"Yes..." Lorenz said as he looked down, the large magician's hat on his head hiding his eyes as he thought of what to do.
"I have one worker who should be available, but I'm unsure how much a Fighting-type specialist will help against Fairy-types. My second worker is out of the question, he's never been in a Pokemon battle, he's our computers guy..." Lorenz sighed to himself for a moment.
"I can get Dendra to go with you, I can try and convince Tulip but I can't force her. I won't even try with Dishon. Is that acceptable?" He asked.
Uncrossing her legs and standing up, Top Champion 'La Primera' Geeta smiled at the older Gym Leader.
"That is acceptable, I will come back tomorrow," She told him as she stood up and left the room.
Leaving Lorenz alone with his thoughts.
He grabbed the hat off his head and held it in his hands, His hand going into his hat as he pulled out a Pokeball and clicked it open.
In a flash of red light, one of his Team members floated beside him.
"Chimecho~" The psychic type trilled a melody of greeting as she floated beside her trainer.
"I'm happy to see you too, dear," He smiled at the Wind Chime Pokemon, "But we have work to do," He said with a sad smile.
"Chime?"
"I need you to call Tulip over, think you can do that?"
"Chime?" The Pokemon asked with an offended look on her face, "Chime! Chimecho Echo!" Her long tail extended with an elaborate use of the move 'Wrap' as she grabbed her trainer's phone from the table and tapped on the screen. A visible frown on her face.
Lorenz stared blankly at his phone before he turned to look at his Pokemon with a sheepish smile.
"Did I ever tell you how smart you are?" He asked sheepishly as he grabbed the phone and turned it on.

"Chimecho!"
----------------------------------------
Lorenz clapped his hands as his entire team of Pokemon sat on the floor of one the many Pokemon Battle rings outside the Battle Hotel.
"Listen up guys, We have a very busy few weeks ahead of us, so we need to be ready!" He told his team, The Six Pokemon he called his 'Elites' sat listening.
"Indeedee?" Dee the Indeedee asked with a smile on her face.
"Of course, you can remain at the reception table, I'm just notifying you that you might have to fight.
"Deedee," She nodded in understanding before she laid back and rested on the floor.
"Bronzong." His Starter's voice rang out, Eliciting a nod of the Gym Leader's head.
"That's right buddy," The man said with a toothy smile, "After this, We're starting Tulip's training!"
That caused the rest of his team to perk up.
"Chimecho!?" Exclaimed the wind chime Pokemon, a glare on her tiny face as she floated up to match her trainer's height, her tail wrapping around his bicep as she rang out loudly.
"I know, I know," The Gym Leader tried to placate her, "She's busy with all that modeling stuff, But she needs to take over the gym in the next five years, we all know that..." Lorenz's words caused Chimecho to release him, a weak glare on her face as she stared at him with disapproval.
"Oran," Another member of the team raised a thought as he moved his hands to speak with Sign Language.
"Believe me Oranguru, I want her to be happy just like everyone else, but she needs to start taking her Gym position seriously." He told his second Psychic/Normal Pokemon, "I don't want the League to get some corporate brown nose to replace us,"
"Guru, Oranguru Oran," The Sage Pokemon said as he continued to sign at Lorenz, the words he signed causing the psychic gym Leader to drop his shoulders and sigh in defeat.
"Okay Fine... We'll continue this discussion later, You can all return to what you were all doing beforehand," Lorenz told his Team and they all stood up, most returning to where they were, Leaving Chimecho and Bronzong behind with their trainer.
"Echo." The sixty-centimeter-tall Pokemon said as she floated next to the Body Building Magician's head.
"You're right girl, you're always right..." Lorenz said sadly as he sat down on a nearby bench, the sound of young trainers battling each other in nearby courts filling the background with a soothing sound to the man's ears.
"It's just... She's growing up so fast." He released a sigh as he felt his body melt into the bench, "She's already 18, Has a flourishing modeling and makeup career, A Strong team of Pokemon who support her, and she's even hanging out with..." Lorenz's face transformed into a Grimace, "Boys..." His mind went to how he found her yesterday morning, sleeping on a couch with the hotel's newest employee.
That boy was lucky nothing happened between the two, else he'd be having a very different discussion right now.
"Chimecho echo..." The Pokemon trilled at him, her tail holding her cheek as she smiled at the Idea of the little girl who used to listen to her sing so long ago finally growing up.
"Get that smile off your face! nothing happened!" Lorenz laughed loudly as he swung his arms up, trying to catch the levitating Wind Chime.
And as the Pokemon and Trainer kept arguing about Tulip, Bronzong watched the two. A spark of joy passed by his ever-open eyes as he watched his Trainer and teammate play.
"Gong~" His voice echoed loudly in the yard, causing both Trainer and Pokemon to turn and look at him.
Lorenz sniffed as he let go of Chimecho, scratching his nose with an embarrassed smile.
"Yeah yeah, I love you all too." The Gym Leader said, "Now let's go back inside, We have a match scheduled in thirty minutes,"
"Echo! Chimecho!" The Wind Chime Pokemon trilled loudly, her face an excited glare as she looked down at her trainer.
"Sure, I'll let you fight soon," He smiled at her, his hand moving toward a Pokeball-looking device on his hip, "We need to test this somewhere," He patted the device.
As the small group walked back to the Battle Hotel, he pondered the utility of using the device and what it meant for the future of Paldean Pokemon Battles.
"To Terastallize anytime... How unique."
