Chapter 17

Chapter 17

Being stared down by a group of stern looking lawyers never failed to be unnerving, even when you’re a planet sized eldritch creature far beyond the understanding of mortal ken. There was just something about the way they held themselves that intimidated him. Having to face them was something he would have loved to avoid, but there they were in Raven’s underground home sitting in the large dining hall turned into an impromptu meeting room as they discussed what happened yesterday. He fucked up royally and now he was facing the consequence, even if it was an accident.

When he jammed his tentacle inside Benezia’s head to help Raven enter the matriarch's mind, he didn’t expect what happened next. He and Raven might have dug in a little too deep when fixing Benezia’s mind and triggered a melding, a global melding. Surprisingly, his resident Rachni was spared from his rampage, having slept through it all, something he had to look into, and his moon was left untouched. He had to explain everything to everyone involved and, thankfully, people were willing to listen and talk.

The good news was Benezia wasn’t doing her best to escape and tear his throats out as she sat beside him and Raven. With the asari’s hands entwined with his and his wife, she looked every bit cured, if a bit shaken from the experience. She no longer had that crazed unhinged look, as it had been replaced with one of confusion and fear as she clung onto us as if we were her life line.

The bad news was that he was now currently facing everyone he fucked in an accidental global orgy. Almost every sentient being on his surface was brought into it when he and Raven melded with Benezia; and that meant Jinx, Octavia and, most importantly, his Lawyers in retainer. It was both a proverbial and literal mess as he woke up to everyone with their clothes torn off and their bodies covered with his semen.

On one end of the table was him, Raven, Benezia and Jinx as well. Despite what happened yesterday, Jinx chose to sit beside him, clinging to him as she hummed happily. The young teen wore a dopey smile across her face as she touched her new outfit, a cloth similar to that of Raven; something she insisted on having.

On the other end were his lawyers along with Octavia. The turnian fidgeted in her seat and refused to look at him, making him wince as his avatar looked down in shame, “Relax, everything will be fine,” Jinx whispered reassuringly as she clung to his side. Even with those words he found no comfort as he felt a leaden weight inside his stomach.

“To summarize what we have just recounted: I, along with every last member of my law firm, were, for the lack of better words, fucked silly till we all passed out,” The founding partner of the small law firm he hired, Lydania T’rola, stated as she pushed up her reading glasses. The Asari was quite the imposing figure. At nearly eight hundred years old, she looked as beautiful and sharp as any young maiden. Coupled that with her curious choice of clothing, a 21st century corporate attire from earth, made her quite eye-catching. Looking up from the documents she was holding, she then said, “While, technically, everything transpired in a lawless area, we do seek some compensation”

Flanking the Matriarch were a collection of Asari, from clerks and support staff to junior lawyers and other such positions within the firm. They all came at full force, even when some of them had a light dusting of purple on their cheeks. He… he really felt bad taking advantage of all of them and now, he wished to repent, “We understand and we seek to make amends to you and everyone in this room,” He replied as Raven gave her a reassuring pat on the back.

The woman nodded as she pulled several documents from the pile she had in front of her. Handing it over to him, she then said, “I’m glad that we came to a quick understanding. Our demands are as follows, we seek to have several laws implemented post haste and for a renegotiation of our work contract. Once fulfilled, my law firm would consider this matter solved between both of our parties.”

“That… seems reasonable?” He answered, a bit confused at the rather light demands they had, as he looked down on the document before him. It was all neatly clipped inside a folder and even had a glossary for him to look up. Tracing his tentacle down the list of laws, he found that it was several pages worth of laws all in the glossary alone.

“For our first demands, here’s the samples of the laws that we have in mind. The details will have to be negotiated and finalized at a later date,” She stated as he nodded along. The laws were reasonable and some of these were just the laws that they had already agreed to encode and ratify.

“Let’s see here...” He muttered as he reviewed the list only to pause as she stumbled upon a confusing section in the glossary. Quickly flipping through the document, he found that it wasn’t a mere typo and quite well thought out. “Wait, some of these are… laws concerning Polygamy? Am I reading this right?” He asked them, trying to clarify if this wasn’t a document they slipped in to see if he was reading through everything.

“That’s right. We consider that a necessary law for our second demand,” The Asari assured him as he felt dread at the stare leveled at her. He suddenly felt like he was some prey before a predator in the hunt.

“Ok? I don’t see any problems with these but I do have to note that this feels… awfully light? I expected more grievance…” He replied. Yes, he was technically giving them more rope to hang him with, but he just wanted his conscience cleared about what he had done.

The woman smiled, sending shivers up his spine. She was oddly alluring with the way she gazed at him but he kept it to himself, “Oh, we’re expressing our grievances, but not in the way you think sir,” She replied with a smirk across her face before she pushed the rest of the documents in his direction. It was a mountain of legal documents; he could already feel his tentacled hand cramping at the sight alone, “Now, here’s our second demand. Here’s a draft of the documents we would like for you to sign,” She all too happily said as she waited for him to read everything.

Giving it a quick read, he found nothing out of the ordinary. The top document was merely an update on the contract to have more benefits like more precious metals and eezo along with other things.“I see that you want more benefits and…” He trailed off as he finally got through the rest of the draft contract. What he read next wasn’t something he was prepared for.

“This is a marriage contract,” He then said as he flipped through everything. It was pages after pages of marriage contracts along with all the files that needed to be filled up to make such a legal marriage be recognized by the Citadel. He looked at Raven who gazed away as a dark blush spread across her cheeks.

“Yes,” The woman confirmed for him.

“A pile of marriage contracts for every last girl in this room to be exact,” He further clarified, as he was left disoriented at the turn of events.

Quirking a painted eyebrow at him, she asked, “And is that a problem?” His fear and worries melted away as it soon gave way to bewilderment with Jinx laughing at him. He was now confused, oh so terribly confused.

“Told you, you should relax,” The girl chuckled as he patted him on the back. Did they plan this?

“Didn’t I force myself on you?” He asked them, looking at the assembly of girls that looked at him in various states of lust, love and desire. Even Lydania herself was staring at him with an intense burning desire. He quickly turned to the spectre, who also sported quite the similar blush to the others, “Octavia?”

“I might have liked it and Jinx made quite the tempting offer,” The woman replied as she pressed her thighs tightly together. Oh, oh! His mind stuttered, shorting out as he realized what had just been offered to her and why she accepted it.

“Oh yes, you definitely did but the thing is, you might have made us quite addicted to it,” The woman answered as all the pieces started falling into pieces. Even Benezia herself was getting aroused as her nipples poked at the light toga she wore, “Now, this statement might sound insane to hear, but there’s far more to this than just simple desire. With the global melding you’ve shown us one thing we all thought would be impossible: and that would be that my love could meld with someone and not kill them in the process,” The woman revealed, giving him pause for a bit before he realized what she had just said.

“Wait, you’re not telling me…” He expected to meet one of them but he didn’t expect to fuck one of them before he even knew they were that variant of Asari. He scanned them when they dropped on the planet and he found that they were Asari on the genetic level. He didn’t look any further than that and they got through without him knowing.

“That is correct. You see Mr. Nevermore, we might have lied about our physical conditions. While we are perfectly healthy, we omitted the fact that more than half our numbers are what is called by our people, the Ardat-Yakshi,” The woman admitted.

Looking at them now, he realized there were subtle differences. It was almost imperceptible but there were differences. The organ responsible for melding was the one thing affected in a major way, but it was just built in a way that supercharged the melding process, enough that it fried the brains of their partner.

“Think of them as Space Succubi,” Jinx explained as she pulled away from him and walked off towards the Asari’s.

“As crude as the term is, it’s quite the close approximation,” The matriarch mused.

“Wait, you're telling me that our global mending allows you to meld with each other without it turning fatal?” He asked them. If this was true, then the implications alone would be earth shaking. Would this mean that every Ardat-Yakshi would be sent his way? He wasn’t sure if that was a blessing or a curse now.

“It was quite the experience. I thought we’d never get to bond like that but thanks to you…~ You don’t know how much this means to us!” One of the girls, a young matron, gushed with adoration and worship coloring her voice. It was only then that she noticed how Lydania’s hands were entwined with said girl’s.

"I’ll be frank Mr Nevermore. If jamming your cock into our pussy's the only way for me to make love with my lover without us dying, then so be it. Besides, we actually find your tentacles to be delectable, don't you agree honey~?" The woman purred out as the younger matron leaned against her. He could feel his tentacles quiver in excitement but he restrained himself, reminding him of what could possibly happen.

Swallowing, he turned back to the documents to distract himself. As he reviewed the work document further, he noticed another lewd addition to their already seductive and titillating demands, “... Did you just add a sexual release clause in your work contract?” He asked in exasperation as he gazed up at them; the Asari’ Matriarch stared back unashamedly at him.

“Why yes. While my lover and I could meld with you, we’re not quite sure if we could meld with each other without her draining me so we’ll just have to settle for the next best thing,” She explained as she reached out and stroked one of the tentacles that had crept up from beneath the table.

"You do know that I could pull everyone into a meld if any of you does it right?" He reminded them as he gazed up at the ceiling. Even his wife was on board with this, how could he resist?

"Oh we know, so that's why we want it to be scheduled. Here's the dates we picked out for this year," The woman replied as one of the Asari’s handed him a paper calendar featuring the terran weeks he’d adopted; such things were normally given out in corporate parties.

"... It's every weekend," He deadpanned as he flipped through the months and found that every sunday was marked with hearts using a pink sharpie.

"Yes," The woman succulently replied.

"..." He could only stare back at them dumbfounded before he threw up his arms as he gave up on understanding what the hell was happening. He gave up and thus, that was how he gained himself a harem of girls who adored him. It wasn’t all bad, he supposed.

Rocky planets were surprisingly not as hard as he expected them to be, but then again, not everyone had continent spanning tentacles to dig into the planet he was currently harvesting. He found the consistency of the mantle and its core closer to that of tough clay, malleable and soft unlike that of the solid crust. Even those planets that seemed geologically dead were quite soft.

That was what Nevermore found out as he started cracking planets for the galactic war machine. While much of the information was kept from the public, enough of the government of each race involved in the Citadel, even those involving non members like the Batarians and Drell, were debriefed of the situation. With an impending apocalypse on the horizon, people were being far more reasonable and quite paranoid as every single last race started setting up factories and expanding their navies.

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

“Congratulations Mister Nevermore. With a single planet destroyed, you handedly opened up more resources for the galaxy than every other mine will ever produce in the entirety of their operation,” Lydania declared as she stood by him as he finished destroying the third and last planet he was earmarked for mining in this system. Large, continent sized boulders tumbled through space as he’d left some leftovers from his rather substantial meal.

Raven was currently with Benezia, fucking the woman quite roughly he might add, while Jinx was currently enjoying some time with Octavia. As much as he wanted to join them, he had some work to do and he’d have to put it off for now. Lydania, thankfully, accompanied him as he dealt with all the headaches that came his way when he started cracking planets.

“It’s kind of the reason why I sold the rights to mining the remnants of this planet rather than processing it myself. I could just siphon everything up and extrude it into pure bars for the factories to make, but I’d probably put a lot of people in the mining industry out of business so I’d just give them a new place to mine instead,” he replied while he watched the swarm of mining ships from all the species within Citadel Space rush to the glowing chunks to scan and stake their claim. Asari, Turian, Salarian, hell, there were even some Krogans and Hanar in the mix as well. There were some late comer species as well, but he had something in mind for them already so there was no need to hold everyone back. Every single species was given a go ahead on mining this little corner of the galaxy and there was a whole fleet shadowing the miners to protect them from any possible pirate attacks.

“Also, kinda weird that you still call me Mister Nevermore when technically you are one of my wives now,” He then pointed out as the suit she wore wriggled over her. She still wore the same formal suit, but she chose to have him as her underwear, a one piece suit that could easily expand to protect her body in case of any environmental hazard they might encounter.

“That’s quite altruistic of you and would you prefer I call you darling instead?” She asked teasingly, smiling as she bit back a moan.

“Something less formal would be a good start,” He replied.

“Of course… darling,” The woman sassed him, earning a laugh from him as he steered some of the rocks to a more stable orbit. He did his best to stop most of the debris from coalescing once more and stop them from falling into the star. He’d even pulled the gas giant closer, which left him gasping, as it took him weeks given its immense mass,

It was decided early on that he only destroy the relatively young planets or planets found in the orbit of neutron stars. One being far too early in their life cycle to harbor any life and any life that they might have hosted would be far too young to consider saving as it would take hundreds of millions of years for them to become even closely complex enough to be eukaryotic, while the other is an irradiated wasteland exposed to the intense magnetic field of a neutron star. Or two of them, not that there were many planets left in those systems.

Without the need to worry about any organic life, he could eat to his heart's content. His tentacles tore through chunks of the planet he clung on to, tearing away pieces and gobbling it all up to process it within him. He incorporated some of the pieces while leaving manageable chunks for everyone else. Left in his wake were the corpses of three super earths.

“You know, I think we need more people,” He suddenly said, making the Asari beside him turn towards him.

“Oh? Already seeking to expand your harem I see,” The woman asked as she took a jab at his lustful nature. He wasn’t opposed to marrying more, as he had married them all, but he shook his head in negative.

“I meant that with the influx of business that’s heading my way I will need workers, workers I don’t have as my population is far too small and already employed,” He clarified. He’d already sent out invitations for resorts to come his way, even offering to build the facilities for them, so long as they gave him rent and there were many more businesses to come.

First comes the amenities, then comes the essential business such as hospitals (even if it wasn’t necessary, it was something he appreciates as he needed to focus on people if he wanted to heal them). Soon enough, he’d have actual families moving in, but before that he needed to solve the melding problem.

His asari wife hummed as she cupped her chin, “Benezia and I could call upon our friends to see if anyone is willing to move in and I could see a lot of maidens heading this way,” She began, listing out all the people that could set up shop on his surface. She then pointed him at his Turian lover as she continued, “There is also your Turian lover and her family. She is quite well connected you know? A colony here wouldn’t be out of the question for her people given how easily you can change the environment of your surface. The Salarians could be persuaded, but they seem rather reluctant to spend time on your surface.”

He nodded as he gave it some thought. He wasn’t opposed to having more Asari and Turian inhabitants, but he had something else in mind right now, “Yes, I already have that in mind and I was looking to ask you about that topic but I have another idea as well,” He replied, as his attention turned towards the stars, peering deep into the darkness as the late comers to the party finally came.

“Oh? Planning to take in the Krogans perhaps?” She prodded.

“Think smaller and far more productive,” He replied ever so enigmatically. The large array of mismatched and rusting mining ships that entered the system was quite the sight to behold, “By chance, do you have contacts within the Migrant Fleet?”

-x-x-x-

The Migrant Fleet was, by any measure, the largest array of space faring vessels in the entire galaxy. By ship count alone, they had almost twice as many vessels as the entire Citadel Council Fleet. As impressive as the statistics were, the truth was that most of the ships in the fleet were almost entirely composed of civilian ships. Yes, they still had quite the number of warships, but most of them were relics from before the exodus, outdated models, and refurbished ships.

That was the truth Admiral Shala'Raan vas Tonbay, leader of the Scouting Fleet, grew up to. The mighty Migrant Fleet was just a collection of aging rust buckets held together by metal wires, bolts, and a whole lot of faith. Even the warships they did have served as the homes of the family of crewmembers. It was a miracle they’d lasted this long without a home planet, so when an offer came their way for a new home, a planet that was willing to house the entirety of the Migrant Fleet and every single Quarian in the galaxy, the Admiralty Board convened.

The offer was verified and verified countless times. The fact that one of the Citadel Council Members, and it was the Asari representative herself to boot, passed the offer on to their fleet only made it all the more tempting. Yes, they still wanted to reclaim their homeworld but a port, even a temporary one where they could rest and repair their ships, would be invaluable. It almost seemed perfect, a place to call their own even if it was just a continent all to themselves, but once they reviewed the offer in more depth… it gave them pause.

Shala’Raan watched in morbid fascination as the projector on board her ship project quite the lurid pornographic live stream for all four of them in the room. Sitting beside her was Admiral Zaal'Koris vas Qwib Qwib, head of the civilian fleet who was forced to stare at the video, Admiral Han'Gerrel vas Neema, head of the Heavy Fleet which was the militant arm of their people, looked offended as he scoffed at the sight yet even he couldn’t tear his eyes away. Only her fellow woman, Admiral Daro'Xen vas Moreh, looked unashamedly interested as she took notes. She felt her cheeks heat up as she watched the tentacle coil around the group of women as they received countless tentacled cocks.

“Fuck yes! Right there~!” The dusky skinned pinkette moaned out as she was railed by countless tentacles that made Shala’Raan core stir. How can such a girl her size take it all? “You don’t know how long I’ve been dreaming of getting impaled by this tentacle.~ It’s as amazing as I imagined it would be, chat!” The girl claimed it wasn’t just her that was having fun. Two other girls were already getting railed as well. One was a dark haired human who was starting to become visibly pregnant while the other was a Turian, a turian wearing the uniform of the Citadels elite. To think that a spectre was among them and said spectre was being treated like a whore and loving every second of it…

“Jinx! Are you filming this?!” The tentacled planet roared out as he and his lovers paused to find Jinx holding the omni tool filming the orgy.

Jinx blanched as she saw that she was caught in the act. She quickly pulled the tentacle filling her pussy up out as she made a break for it, “Oh shit, got to go. If you want to watch some of Raven’s private time with Nevermore, please consider dropping by my Paystar and become a subscriber today!” The girl squealed out laughing at the howls of outrage behind her.

“You bitch, you were filming me!” The other screamed accusingly as black light surrounded her palm, earning an intense look from the scientist among them.

“I have tons of videos of those two! They’re just so cute together!” She panted out as tentacles started sprouting all around her while the angry human flew after her. The girl shrieked in surprise as she tripped before tentacles made from black light grabbed onto her legs.“Wait, no! Not there~ Don’t pound me there! AhhH~” She begged the flying human only for the girl to kiss her and shut her up for a while.

The video quickly cut out as soon as Nevermore grabbed the Omnitool and turned it off, leaving only silence as all of them digested what they had just watched. Yes, she wasn’t immune to the allure of porn but to watch it live streamed with the others filled her with a sense of mortification and twisted sense of arousal. She did not know a cock could impale a girl all the way through and fill up another girl all at the same time…

“That was… rather educational I might say,” Zaal’Koris said as he tugged on his suit's collar. She could empathize with him as she found herself rather hot under all her clothing right now.

“Fascinating,” Daro’xen muttered as she kept on typing down her notes and reviewing them. Sometimes, she envied her fellow woman’s ability to just focus on a subject, be clinical about it, and not care at all about any of the details surrounding it.

“This… this is the planet that the Council wants us to inhabit! A planet of sexual deviants where the very ground itself could sprout tentacles? This is an outrage, an insult!” Han'Gerrel raved as he shook his fist at the monitor. Yes, this wasn’t above what the citadel would sling at them for their people's crime of creating rampant AI, but she did not agree with her fellow admirals' claims.

“Please consider how outraged Nevermore and Raven were in this video,” She pointed out.

“And what about it?” The man scoffed, glaring at her through his almost opaque face plate. The man's pride and anger was legendary, but she wasn’t to be cowed by mere bluster and bravado. As insulting as it may have seemed, she refused to take things out of context.

“This might have just been a private affair that was live streamed without their consent,” She explained as she gave them the benefit of the doubt. They could be sexual deviants, but the fact that they looked embarrassed about being discovered in the act pointed to an answer which painted them with a more positive light.

“Well, you do have a point, but my point still stands!” The man conceded but doubled down on his claims. She could only nod at that. Even if they were exiled, their species still had some pride. They were defeated but they were not broken.

“Be as it may… this is still a port we can dock. Yes, the planet itself might be sexually active, and isn’t that a combination of words that I thought wouldn’t be possible, but the planet is at least willing to extend a helping hand, or rather a helping tentacle in this case,” Zaal’Koris argued, siding with her on this topic. It was an undeniable fact that they were weary of living almost their entire lives within their ships. Their people needed some respite and if it had to come in this form…

“I’m also quite curious about the nature of this living planet. Have you seen the living suits of these girls? Even the Spectre’s own suit was a modified tentacle. The possibilities…” Daro’Xen interjected, expressing her curiosity about the planet. It was as close as she could get to actual interest in any matter, befitting for a woman that was married to her profession.

“But are we really going to let ourselves be at the mercy of the planet? I can scarcely imagine staying there for too long, much less having my children stay there,” The man griped, bringing up quite the important point. The planet was by no means safe for anyone but adults.

There was a pause as everyone mulled over this sticking point but she quickly thought up of something that could potentially be a work around to this unorthodox problem, “We could just have most of our population in orbit and only have willing volunteers on the surface repairing the very worst of our fleet,” She suggested. What more was a couple more years in orbit to a species that had lived their entire lives in their ships.

“If everyone’s so willing to consider this then I say we put this in a vote. All in favor of rejecting the offer?” Han’Garrel challenged, refusing to back down on his point. Only he raised his hand but he was undeterred. She could raise her hand, but this could turn into a tie which meant there would be no action taken. Zaal’Koris still had to think of the civilian fleet while Daro’Xen could just go out on her own, as such an action would not affect or stop the brightest minds of the Quarian people from heading to where their minds took them.

“All in favor of accepting the offer?” He then asked as she raised her hand. There was some hesitation, but slowly Zaal’Koris raised her hand. Daro’Xen merely shrugged as she raised her hands as well. It was a landslide victory on her end, which left Han’Garrel fuming on his end.

The fact is, the offer was far too tempting. The planet Nevermore was a gray area, a location whose law is all its own, meaning that they could acquire the parts and ships they needed there, but it was technically a double edged sword for there was nothing protecting them. Then again, had the citadel protected them even inside its space? Her people were willing to gamble on this tiny chance so that they could recover.

“Well, that settles that. The problem now is… who do we send to negotiate?” Zaal’Koris then asked. For her, that was an easy question to answer.

“I volunteer,” She offered herself, knowing full well what could happen. If this was what it took to give her niece a chance of having a life not bound to space, then so be it. She’d do whatever it took to give her people a chance, even if it meant she had to risk herself in the process. It was all for the good of her people and definitely not because she was curious.
