Chapter 7

A robed figure stealthily entered raccoon village that night and when the guards halted her, she said, "I need to report an urgent matter to the village shaman." Although the guard was quite puzzled, he still made way for her.

Moments later the robed figure arrived at the village altar, she immediatly went to the upper floor of the building and stood infront of a simple wooden door. Before she could knock on the wooden door, the door suddenly opened and a man dressed in red came out. He's not that old, only on his early 50's but he looked wizened. At first glance, you can't help yourself but judge this person as an evil person only by his appearance. Depite that this man has built his reputation in this village to its peak that all villagers look at him with reverence.

Seeing that haggard face in front of him, "Reina, you have come. What happened? Where is he?" The red dressed figure asked. Although his questions were quite hurried but he still maintained his calm.

At the moment Reina was so conflicted because she was about to betray her benefactor. The man before her not only treated her as a mere disciple but also treated her like his own daughter. She really looked up to this person but she has no choice, she needed to know the truth. She has already made up her mind that if this was a trap made by the demon Wang Yu to slay her master, she would use that skill to correct her mistakes no matter the cost. This day was very tough for her because of all the twist and turns.

Wang Yu was lucky that the person he was with is Reina because others wouldn't readily buy his evidence. Its not that the bracelet is not enough, all villagers would feel its majesty but they would still have doubts. However Reina recieved an enlightenment at the altar and at that time she knew that Goddess Miracle is not just their object of faith but she was actually real. So Reina trusted him this time, her faith made her believe on Wang Yu.

"Master, I left him in the woods where we camped. He was just about to do something to me when he suddenly fell to his knees while clutching his head in pain, screaming. He was shouting to himself. I panicked and ran straight here." After saying everything in one go, Reina sobbed and hugged her master then continued saying, "Master, did I do wrong?"

"No, you did not. Reporting immediatly to me was the best decision." The red dressed man replied. Reina couldn't see because of their position that the tranquil expression of the red dressed man had a drastic change when their bodies collide. His suppressed desires were aroused like he was ready to devour her completely but he chose to calm himself down and push her off gently saying, "You've gone through a lot today but you must steel yourself for a bit longer. We mustn't tarry any longer, we have to get to him before he recovers, Reina lead the way."

Looking at Reina's back the red dressed man grew excited, he thought to himself, "Damn woman I can't hold myself any longer. After I devour that demon's soul, I'll feast on your body and make you my cultivation furnance. To try possessing an Immortal, there has to be some mishaps even if he is a demon god. This is a great chance for me, I can't just let slide because of some risk."

While they were on their way out of the building, the red dressed man asked more questions, "Did anyone knew of your return?"

"Master, Only the guard on duty at the gates saw me." Reina replied.

"Good, we can be at ease that the village can sleep peacefully tonight. The news of your return could cause an uproar and we would want that to happen."

When they arrived at the west gate the red dressed man called up the guard.

"Yes elder, how may I serve?" The guard said respectfully.

"Why is that you're the only one here? Aren't you supposed to have a partner?" The re dressed man reprimanded.

While scratching the back of his head the guard explained, "In the middle of our shift old Lu felt unwell so I let him go home to rest. Our shift should be over soon elder. Please forgive us for our negligence."

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

"It can be helped, this post will be vacated this time around, come with us, we need more hands in this task but we're pressed with time so there's no more room to call for reinforcements." The red dressed man urged.

"Why don't we light the beacon elder?" The guard suggested.

"There's no need to disturb the whole village, just leave a note for the next round of guys to know. Make it quick." The three person then head out to the woods.

On the way Reina could feel her masters anxiousness grew, He even used his mobile magic treasure to travel faster. This magic treasure is a flying leaf, although lowest of its kind it is very uncommon to see one in villages. Even the guard felt proud to have riden such thing. Unfortunately this mobile treasure can only fly 20 meters above the ground or it will be taxing to its controller to supply enough true essence unless the one controlling has a very high cultivation base.

"Over there master, we camped behind those rock formations." Reina pointed at the rock formations near the safe path.

The three of them landed at safe path and proceeded to the back of those rock formations where they could see a person lying on the ground, his hands are crossed behind his head. With the moon being full tonight, the night cannot impair their visions. Before they could come any closer, the man stood up and faced them.

"Well that was quick. Good job in bringing your master here, Reina, though I didn't expect a third person coming along but oh well.. he could play the role of the second witness." Wang Yu showed a sinister smile after speaking.

"Reina, what's the meaning of this?" The red dressed man glimpse behind him while asking but to his surprise, due to focusing all his attention at the man lying on the ground awhile ago, he had not sense that Reina stopped walking with him long ago. Reina was now far back from him and even the guard too. The guard has no clue of the situation but because of his nervousness when Reina stopped in place, he too followed.

Before anyone could continue speaking, Wang Yu said, "Enough with all the chit-chat, time to die!" Base on the happenings in the next moment could Wang Yu determine his next course of action. So he need to take the initiative and not allow the red dressed man have the time to think.

True Miracle activated.

Choose skill or item to empower: [Fire Ball]

[Fire Ball]

level: ∞

Formed through gathering the fire essenses of the world into a single point. Dealing fire burst damage and fire burning damge over time for ∞ seconds. Damage depends on skill level and fire mastery.

Wang Yu's smile grew more sinister. How could a skill made by an Elder God be mediocre? This was his first time displaying his prowess, how could he not be proud? Created skill won't always start at level one and in Wang Yu's case it will start at the limits.

The bracelet in Wang Yu's wrist shined brightly but not as bright as the great ball of fire above him that made the night's darkness seemed noon. The great thing is that fire ball's skill channeling does not damage the environment or the creatures near it but the heat and presure is felt.

When the red dressed man the felt the skill locked on to him, because of the immense danger he instinctively transformed into his original form, the twin horned red demon. Two large horns sprouted on his forehead that curved at the back of his head, he grew from 1.75 meters to 10 meters tall, his body bulge that resembled like a gorilla, then two bat-like wings protruded from his back.

Reina who was standing at the far back, chanted her own spell when she saw Wang Yu's actions, in her mind she would do everything to save his master but the situation in front of her revealed that they would all die from the great ball of fire which made her despair. Then her master transformed which made her feel a little relief because she had actually made the right choice but how will she survive the aftermath of that skill.

"I am the second witness right? Aren't witnesses supposed to survive to tell the tale right?" The guard's voice sounded not too far from Reina, it woke Reina from her despair. To Reina the guard's words made a lot of sense but.. how? That man may not be a demon but to her, he is the devil.

Contrary to their expectations the great ball of fire grew smaller but still larger than the twin horned red demon.

Wang Yu then shot the fire ball to the demon which had taken out a bone medalion that emitted a crimson light to cover his whole figure. However when the fire ball collided with the crimson light, it shattered instantly. The demon has taken a direct hit from the fire ball but a sliver of heal remains of the demon. The demon bellowed  his anger and pain, he couldn't believe that all his plans would end off like this because he already knew that the burning effect would definitely kill him.

But before the demon's hp became zero, seven sword lights stabbed at the demon, finishing him off before the burning effect.

Now its Wang Yu's turn to be shocked, "Who was it?" Wang Yu surveyed the surroundings in anger.
