Two people exited the raccoon village west gate intimately, they were like two lovebirds that can't be separated no matter what. They walked too close to each other that not ever a hair separate them but if you look closely, you can see that, only the man seemed happy while the woman's expression is someone who have been wronged. Yet as they walked their way to the village gates no one came to her rescue even though this woman is very popular in raccoon village, this woman is Reina, the number one beauty of raccoon village which many admired. Seeing this scene many heroic spirits have been aroused to attempt in rescuing the damsel in distress, specially from people unaware of the situation which consist of players and village outsiders but when are about to try and do something someone would stop them.

"What are you doing? Why are you stopping me? Can't you see that monkey is harrassing miss Reina?"

"Mind your own business, they are a happy couple just taking a stroll." A guard said to a musculine lad.

"But.. But.."

Before he could talk back the nearby plump shopkeeper added, "Miss Reina is just shy because she had never gone out with his boyfriend before."

"I never seen that guy before." A player voiced his piece, he has already played Immortal Heroes Online for about a month now and same as Wang Yu, he was assigned at raccoon village.

"What do you know? You're only here for a month, of course you would not know him, his name is Nomed, he's Reina's childhood sweetheart, he just came back today from moving to the city a long time ago." The plump shopkeeper was quite satisfied with his rebuttal, the plump shopkeeper is called fatty Chu, he is quite famous for exaggerating stories.

Even the guard was shocked with what fatty Chu has made up and shoot a glare at fatty Chu, "I know you are good at making up stories but can't you see that guy is wearing a newbie outfit, who would believe your words now?" The guard shouted inwardly. As if the guard has the powers of telepathy, fatty Chu immediatly backed his previous statement, "Today Nomed disguised himself as a newbie to surprise Reina." Fatty Chu was quite smug with his brilliance crossing his both arms.

The guard can't help but scratch the back of his head with this scene. "Even in this kind of situation, this fat guy still has time to exercise his hobby. The shaman said that there should never be a hindrance in their leave or the situation could become dire."

With the wanna-be heroes being hindered by the village folks, Wang Yu and Reina peacefully reached the forest outside the village or rather only Wang Yu had it peacefully while Reina had it like a roller coaster ride and now the two of them were all alone together which made her even more scared.

Wang Yu doesn't have these intimidation skills, the kid Wang Yu has these memories on watching superhero cartoons where the villain intimidates his victims and honestly Wang Yu is interested in playing the villain, quite opposite to the kid Wang Yu who is very heroic at heart.

After a few moments of walking in the forest safe path, Wang Yu halted his steps which also stopped Reina in place. Even with the inability of his soul to scour externally because of his injury, with their current location, Wang is now certain that there aren't anymore prying eyes to watch on them through his intuition alone. Having a strong soul is equal to being a clairvoyant but instead of seeing, you will know by feeling.

"Do you think I'm too stupid to not realize your little scheme? What do you think of me, Wang Yu the great demon lord, a baby that can be lured with a candy?" Reina lost all the feeling on her legs out of fear, she fell sitting at the paved ground head lowered when she heard Wang Yu's sudden speech. She thought that she had succeeded in luring out this demon from her beloved village but she has mistaken. "He knew all along?" Reina thought to herself while her tears rolled contiously. Her mind is in a complete mess right now, she dreaded the fact that this demon had played her to see her suffer and have a look of her, despairing. But this is all just Reina jumping in conclusion of Wang Yu's intentions.

Wang Yu looked at her pitiful figure in shock, "Did I overdid things? This girl's reaction is over the top." Wang Yu muttered to himself. But Wang Yu can't back down now, he need to know everything and this is his best chance to get anything out of her. He now knew that she has firmly believed that he is a demon lord and most probably the villagers believe this as a fact as well. 

"Now tell me, how did you puny humans able to determine my real identity? If you tell me everything then I promise that I'll spare your tiny village as thanks for your help in figuring out the mistakes I've made in my infiltration." Wang Yu need  to get everything she know out of her, before she calms down and think straight. He needed to stimulate her concern for her home before she realize a bigger picture and give up everything for the sake of humanity.

"How can I be certain that you will be true to your promise?" Reina was still sobbing but she was now back to her senses when she heard his words.

"Well, if I have a choice I would not do troublesome stuff like massacring a village which will lead to pursuit of human experts but If you anger me, I won't have any second thoughts in doing so. Now, what do you have for me?" Wang Yu spoke with a insidious smile on his face.

Reina gritted her teeth when she heard his explanation and she already made her decision to take on that chance of survival. The reason for this, is that, she thought this situation is impossible to be salvaged or to explain it more correctly she believed the situation is hopeless for them because it was the shaman had told them that this demon is a higher one that even a city would struggle to fight it.

"It all started at the day of the hero summoning array activated, usually it only take upto ten minutes for the summoning to be done but we villagers who have gathered at the array magic circle to welcome the new hero have already waited for an hour but no one came out yet. But when the ball of light descended to the village, maste Shi, the shaman shouted that he had felt a demonic presence from the ball of light which issued panic to the village people, luckily the master Shi was there and ordered everyone to gather at the altar for a meeting while the village chief would welcome the hero and buy some time for us to plan something. The other villagers were kept on look out. Knowing that you are possessed by a high level demon and fighting you would only lead to dissaster, master Shi chose a plan to lead you away from the village before reporting to the higher authorities which everyone agreed because if we hold you here and a fight would break out, our village would bear the aftermath." Reina narrated everything.

"Everyone believed and agreed to him?" Wang Yu was suspicious to this village shaman but now he was sure this fella is hiding something.

"Of course, we would not doubt master Shi's judgement because he was able to prevent demonic possessions countless times already, he was the village's saviour." Reina's eyes was filled with admiration when answered but soon she realized that she had forsaken their saviour and added hurriedly, "Please don't harm master Shi, our village needs him the most."

"This village shaman has a high prestige amongst the villagers that it even exceeds their village chief huh and even the villagers would believe him immediatly." Wang Yu thought to himself.

"What if I tell you that an immortal hero like myself are protected by Goddess Miracle and it's impossible for us to be possessed, although we can be corrupted by our evil nature but in this world our free will is preserve no matter what." Wang Yu wasn't really informed by this fact but based on the soul contract that states, "you will not be harmed" is a proof that being possessed is impossible because a possession affects the soul and in fact harms it in some ways depending on the severity, and in some cases the soul imprint of the owner will be completely wiped out.

"What are you trying to say?" Reina is confused with this revelation.

"Is this demon playing me again." Reina thought to herself.

"Thats right, me being a demon is all an act or rather, what you thought of me being a demon is false. All of this is a huge misunderstanding. Your reaction is quite hilarious though hehehe. In fact your entire village are a bunch of fools led around by a demon." Wang Yu can no longer hold his laughter.

"You guys even put on a good show to drive me out of the village and the look on your scared faces is priceless." Wang Yu continued to ridicule her.

Listening to his hateful comments, Reina's fear slowly turned to anger but she still hold herself from releasing her rage because she was still wary of him.

"Don't get too angry though, Its not that I purposely act as one to make fun of you people, its just that I wanted to uncover the hand behind everything and I'm 99% sure that he is the real demon." Wang Yu said solemnly.

Seeing Wang Yu's seriousness, Reina replied, "And why would I believe you now? You are even accusing master Shi of being a demon. He's the village's saviour, what you're saying is impossible." Reina can't accept Wang Yu's allegation, in her eyes the village shaman is a saint that helped many in the village and even saved her from poverty. She never felt any ill intentions from her master. He was  very warm and kind to everyone.

"Well that makes him more suspicious, he pretends to be a holy man but he schemed for the demise of other villages." Wang Yu retorted.

"If you want proof, I am the proof. I have something that can prove that I am not a demon which will make him wrong in labeling me as a demon." Wang Yu contiued.

"What if he was wrong about you? That doesn't make him a demon as well." Reina answered back.

"If you think about it. Because your village has a reliable shaman  the higher authorities never sent an envoy to overlook your village nor your village requested one right?" Reina was quite astounded by this question because when the topic of seeking aid is brought up, her master would oppose by saying, " let's not give a bigger burden to the city officials when we fend for ourselves." Her master even personally trains the village guards on how to deal with demons when a demon invasion event is up. His anti demon skills, no one has doubted because he was one of the survivors in the demonland expedition years ago.

Then Wang Yu took off his bracelet and pass it to Reina, "Here this will prove my identity." Wang Yu casually said those words. But when Reina recieved the item she felt a very familiar feeling, its like she wanted to kowtow to this item and when she read its description, she was very shocked that she immediatly passed back the bracelet to Wang Yu and lowered her head. 

"Who is this person? For him to recieve an item directly from Goddess Miracle? It can't be a mistake, the feeling I got from the statue at the village altar and that bracelet is very identical." Reina was still sitting on the ground in deep thought. She knew the statue's aura and majesty can't be duplicated unless its Goddess Miracle herself that did it. Even in an invasion or any case where the village is completely wiped the only thing that will remain intact and unsullied will be the village altar. It serves as a sanctum for the villagers survival, though not all could be saved because the altar is not that huge.

"Now you know that I'm quite special and the information about this bracelet must be kept secret or you'll suffer heavens punishment." When Wang Yu said this, the dark clouds that formed above them for quite some time now has started crackling lighting arcs which gave Reina a huge fright but Wang Yu knew this warning was aimed at him. Reina watched in daze as Wang Yu's smile grew wicked when he looked above them.

"Let's talk about the plan to expose him." Wang Yu's next words woke Reina in her stupor. She then thought to herself, "Maybe this guy is the real demon."
