Question 10 - Are you still believe that you can do anything?

I look at a girl nearly as tall as me wearing black close-fitting outfits. She grabs a wooden sword tightly while facing me, after clenching her mouth she then says, "Are you ready, Vys."

Hearing her declamation, I nod, the sign of acknowledgment.

She let out a smirk after see my nod, in that instant she's starting to charge with incredible speed -- she closes our distance in about one second, our eyes meet and then she immediately swings her sword to my abdomen.

"Vys. You will lose," she's yelling even in battle.

It's inconspicuous in the first glance, but she tries to attack places where it will inflict minimal injury for me. Well, it is good if she still considers it as sparring.

I step back to avoid the sword and make a counterattack, she already tries to make her attack unpredictable, but that isn't enough "Careful with the swords."

However, even before hearing my warning she already evades my attacks. It seems her agility and perceptions are better than Foundation establishment level. She has the necessary talent to become a good assassin. Nevertheless, it's better for her to not go to that directions.

After avoiding my strike, she let out a little smile and change her footwork, she's rushing to my direction again with another strike. Her movements are agile but predictable in my eyes.

"Can you receive this attack Vys," she thrust her sword again towards my chest.

"Isn't this is an easy one," I block her attack forcefully,

Little Qi shockwaves around us are spreading towards all directions. Tree's leaves and grasses fly around because of wind created by the shockwave.

We're standing face to face, with two wooden swords separate two of us. She's stood beaming with excitement, her green eyes shine while her glossy black hair roughed by the winds.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Is my sister a battle junkie? I seriously hope she doesn't go towards that directions. However, power is necessary in this kind of cutthroat world. Welp, now I'm conflicted.

Nevertheless, this position doesn't last long, she immediately changes her position, step back and strike again with a little spin in her sword. She looks agitated, impatient to defeat me soon.

Of course, I won't let her attack hit me easily. Where my pride as big brother if I go easy with her? I bend my knees, scrunching to avoid her strike. After her attack missed, I immediately grab her arm and throw her towards nearest boulder.

Dust fly around the place where Yan body walloped the boulder, it makes me lost sight where Yan is. It is impossible this degree of attack can inflict injury to her -- and it's right, she appears behind me without sound ready to attack me for the next time.

Even though she prepare it carefully, I still can read her and immediately turn over blocking her attack once again -- this time my face is the one containing a smile.

Looking her attack failed, again and again, she becomes more agitated and doesn't care about her obvious advantage, her stealth skill. She's attacking with pure swordsmanship imbued with her Qi.

"Hyaa, hyaa." her attack become faster and faster but her opening gets more and more obvious over time. She seems doesn't realize it yet but each of my attacks is providing her with guidance to flowing her Qi in her meridians more skillfully.

After a while, she soon looks tired, her breath and Qi flow in her body are erratic, it seems she can't concentrate on another lesson.

"Time to end this."

In between of her barrage attacks, I can see an obvious opening when she pulls her sword. So, I take those as my advantage to defeat her, she seems doesn't realize it yet but it is a task for the big brother.

She's pulling her sword after each strike like before, but this time my movement isn't defensive. When she pulls her sword, I'm activating my bloodline and lengthen my arms while imbuing all my Qi to my sword, and then knocking her sword out of her grip.

She flabbergasted looking at her empty hand, "What, you cheater, why you using a bloodline in a sword battle."

She's fuming and squawks at me talking about fairness in battle. I silent, listening to her for a few ten minutes until finally, she stopped.

It seems she still think there is fairness in battle, I don't know how she spars with other people. However, in a normal fight, there won't be a second chance to let out your trump card if you get killed because of that mindset. Well, it's better for her to stay like this, I can still protect her with my current influence, as long it isn’t fighting with behemoth level like Aracorv -- on second thought, we still can run even if Aracorv is our enemy.

Well, let's hope our path won't cross, we're playing the same game, but it is on the different level -- yet.
