"Are you sure you can fight with that crappy sword, Miz?" Javi asked Mizuya, a bit worried now that he knew what the sword did.

"HAY!!" Joblin the Goblin yelled, its face flushing red with anger.

"I'll manage." Mizuya replied, gripping his sword firmly.

"STOB IGNORAN MII!!!" Joblin the Goblin rushed forward before swinging his great club in one large motion, trying to crush Mizuya and Javi in one hit, but this attack was stopped by Javi, who had activated his Solar to strengthen himself and his kanabo, sliding back from the force in the club.

Mizuya ran forward while Javi was holding off Joblin, using his sword to cut the most obvious weak point on the goblin: A part of belly fat that isn't covered by armor. The goblin yelped, and so did Mizuya once he realized his sword was stuck.

The goblin let go of their club to try and grab Mizuya, but the man avoided this, pulling their sword back at the same time, but ending up in an awkward pose. Seeing an opportunity, Javi ran over, using Mizuya's back as a springboard to jump up, hitting the goblin on the head with his kanabo, and falling gracefully.

The goblin held their head in pain. "KURSE YU, YUMENZ! AL KRUSH YU!!" Joblin roared, before grabbing their club and swinging it downwards towards Javi. The man nimbly avoided this. The club left a crater on the ground, and the whole place shook, with rocks and dust falling from the ceiling.

"Javi, don't be alarmed but if he does that two more ti-"

"PEWNY YUMEN! AM GON KRUSH YU LYKE AMT!" Mizuya was interrupted by Joblin swinging their club downwards towards them. Despite being distracted, Mizuya managed to avoid death by a hair's breadth. The whole room shook again, and at this point, chunks of stone were falling from the ceiling.

"Ohhh shit." Javi said, heading to free the prisoner that they had all forgotten about.

Joblin raised their club, but their attack was interrupted by Mizuya slashing their legs with a sweeping motion of his sword. As he had actually damaged his enemy this time, Mizuya began to bleed from his face due to his sword's curse.

"YAAAGH!! WIE YU NOT DYE?!?" Joblin the Goblin screamed, slamming their great club on the ground in one final act of defiance, or perhaps, one final act of stupidity.

"RUN!!" Mizuya shouted to Javi as the room began to cave in.

Javi woke up, having passed out after the room caved in. He slowly stood up, looking back, seeing that the room was covered by rubble... But he didn't see Mizuya anywhere! "M-Miz! I only met you five hours ago, you left me too soon!" he cried out in anguish.

"I'm right here." Mizuya said, standing behind Javi.

"Oh."

"Heal this prisoner, their condition is critical." Mizuya told Javi.

Javi moved over to the prisoner, kneeling beside them. "Let's just take this bag off their head first..." Javi said, before doing what he said he was gonna do. "Huh, they have animal ea-"

"IT'S A BEASTMAN!!!" Mizuya yelled as he drew his sword, before moving to attempt to kill the demihuman, frothing at the mouth with rage.

Fortunately, because Javi had a moment of logical thought, and because he was stronger than Mizuya, he managed to prevent the other man from doing something irrational.

"Miz, calm down... We need any allies we can get to survive in this shithole!" Javi tried to reason with the swordsman.

Javi had to hold him back for a few more seconds, but Mizuya calmed down rather quickly. "Fine, but if I see another beastman I'm going to kill them." Mizuya said.

"Sure, sure you will... Let me heal them now." Javi went over to the demihuman, before transferring his Solar aura to them, causing them to be healed, but suddenly, the aura dissipated before it was done. "Shit, I ran out of solar energy... They're healed, but they won't be able to wake up instantly. Alright, you carry them."

"Why do I have to carry them?!"

Javi looked disappointed in Mizuya. Javi felt that things would get harder going forward if Mizuya kept acting childish like this. "If you don't wanna touch them you could just have your Phantom do it."

"No, it drains too much stamina... Can we play rock paper scissors?" Mizuya pleaded. He didn't want to have to help a beastman any more than he already had.

Javi nodded, and they played rock paper scissors. After a few draws, Mizuya played scissors, Javi played rock, and so Mizuya reluctantly picked up the demihuman, and they began to walk deeper and deeper into the stronghold.

...

Javi shivered, looking at his ring as he walked... "For fucks sake, did I seriously only bring my kanabo collection with me?" he complained.

Mizuya did feel the temperature change, but he didn't react to it. Hearing Javi's complaint made him curious: "I meant to ask earlier, but what is that ring? I haven't seen anything like it before."

"It's an Interspatial Ring. I can put stuff into it and take it out when I want." Javi explained. "Pretty useful, not gonna lie." he added.

Before Mizuya could say anything else, they finally found themselves in what seemed to be the throne room. Mizuya put the demihuman he was carrying down in the hall, before entering the throne room with Javi.

The throne room didn't have much of note, except for four goblins: Two small goblins that seemed to be casting a spell, a medium goblin that seemed to be female, and the Goblin King, who still had Mizuya's sword impaled into him.

"KIP EALIN!!" The female goblin shouted at the goblin mages, before turning to the humans. "AM DA GOBLIN QUEEN! PRIPAR TU DYE!" she yelled, gripping her own sword, which seemed to be made out of gold and adorned with many jewels.

"Does everyone in this world introduce themselves before attacking?... Are we being rude by not doing the same?" Mizuya asked Javi.

Javi's eyes widened. "Wait, you can understand what these guys are saying?"

"GRRRAHHH!!!" The Goblin Queen roared, before charging towards Mizuya, aiming to take the swordsman's head off in a single blow...

She did not succeed as Mizuya used his own sword to block the Queen's attack, skidding backwards slightly. Mizuya whistled, impressed at the Goblin’s power.

While the Goblin Queen was distracted with Mizuya, Javi ran over to the goblin mages, smashing both their skulls with a single swing... It seemed that these guys were the reason the place was so cold.

As soon as the mages died, the Goblin King screamed, and began to rapidly dry up like a raisin.

The Goblin Queen turned back to see this, with a shocked expression on her face. "Y-YU... YU KYLED IM!! YU... BASTARD!!!" the Goblin Queen yelled, before dropping her sword and holding her head.

Mizuya and Javi both watched in terror as she quite literally turned red with anger, and began growing to a size even bigger than the Goblin King. "YU CHAL PEEEYYY!!!" she SCREAMED, pointing at Javi.

"Oh shit."
