"Are you sure there is someone coming to rescue you?" asked Mizuya, breaking the silence that had lasted 5 hours.
"No… Fuck it, let’s look for someone to beat up. I’m bored."
Mizuya nodded, before standing up and starting to walk along the coast once more, now with Javi walking along him. The scenery didn't have much variation, mostly gray ground, with gray water and gray skies.
"Generic small talk." Mizuya said as he walked. He probably would be stuck with Javi for a while, so he decided he should try to become friends with the man.
"Am I going crazy or did you just say 'generic small talk'?"
A cold sweat ran down Mizuya's face. "... You must have misheard me, I asked how you ended up in this place. For example, I was sent here by a vile wizard."
"Oh, I was helping my grandpa in the lab, and then boom, I'm here... Look, there's something over there!" Javi exclaimed, pointing to something in the distance.
Mizuya squinted, and he saw what seemed to be a small stronghold, built into a large hill. "Do you think it's a dwarven fortress?" Mizuya asked.
Once more, Javi looked at Mizuya as if the other man was crazy. "Dwarves? Like in Lord of the Rings?"
"... The ones that are all pretty short and the men have big ginger beards."
"Oh, maybe. You should get ready for combat, just to be safe." Javi warned Mizuya, before putting his hand forward, with his palm facing up to the sky. A ring on his finger began to glow, before a kanabo that looked to be made entirely out of steel appeared, seeming to come out of the ring as if there was an elevator in it.
Mizuya drew one of his two swords, the same he had used against the boar. Javi looked at the sword, complimenting it: "That's a nice sword. Looks like it has seen lots of use."
"Don't worry, it'll look better after a fight where someone dies." Mizuya said, purposefully being enigmatic to sound cooler.
When they arrived at the stronghold, they instantly realized that this was no dwarven fort. This was a goblin den! Unfortunately, the guards had spotted them before they could hide.
"WII 'AV' TOO INTROODAHZ, BOIZ!!!" The goblin shouted.
"Watch out, up on the walls!" Mizuya warned Javi as a dozen goblins standing on top of the outside wall began chucking rocks the size of baseballs at the humans.
Javi got in front of Mizuya, using his kanabo to bat the rocks into dust. Although he was successful for the most part, some of the rocks still hit him, leaving him with some bad bruises, but no further damage.
"Lift me up, I'll deal with the goblins that are up there, you deal with the ones in the bottom." Mizuya said. Javi nodded, cupping his hands and bending his knees so Mizuya could climb on the wall.
This spelled the end for the goblins, as they really couldn't beat Mizuya and Javi in close combat, even with their larger numbers.
"YAGHH! DEY GAT ON DA WALLZ!" One of the goblins yelled, before being cut down by Mizuya, splattering purple blood everywhere.

"SUMEON GAT DA KING!!" Another goblin shouted, before their head was smashed in by Javi, their body falling limply to the floor.
Suddenly, heavy footsteps coming from the stronghold made everyone stop fighting to look at who was coming...
A large goblin, about four times the size of a regular one came out, or twice the size of an average human, wearing a crown made of bones and a robe made out of boar fur, holding an obsidian colored zhanmadao. Mizuya nearly began to drool at the sight of the sword.
"YAGHAHA! AM DA KING OF GOBLINZ! YULL DAI, YUMENZ!!!" The Goblin King laughed and boasted, spinning their zhanmadao to show off.
Javi ran towards the Goblin King, preparing to hit the oversized goblin with his kanabo, but he quickly had to duck so his head wasn't cleaved clean off. Unfortunately, his hat was now in two pieces.
"Javi, we'll have to work together to beat this guy. Think of a hammer and nail!" Mizuya yelled as he ran towards the Goblin King, thrusting his swords towards the goblin's stomach.
Javi hesitated for a moment, trying to figure out what Mizuya meant by 'hammer and nail'. He thought for a few seconds, before he realized what the other man meant. "I got you, Miz!" Javi said, before he hit the hilt of Mizuya's sword with his kanabo, driving it into the Goblin King's stomach.
"YARRGH!! YU FUCKING PEECE A SHIIITT!!!" The Goblin King screamed in pain, before turning on his heel and running into the stronghold, with Mizuya's sword in his stomach.
"Hey, give me back my sword!!" Mizuya shouted at the goblin as he began to chase him. Somehow, despite having a sword in his stomach, the Goblin King was still just as fast as the humans.
As they headed into the fortress, Javi noticed something. "Man, it smells like shit in here." he announced, and Mizuya simply nodded in agreement.
Mizuya and Javi ignored the common goblins, until two goblins that were twice the size of a regular goblin, or the size of the average human, stopped Mizuya and Javi.
"YAAAA!!! WII ARR DA GOBLIN MARCHING ARTERZ! YULL DIE TWODEY!!" The goblins got into some bizarre fighting stance, the type an old martial arts master would see in his worst nightmares.
Mizuya moved to draw his sword, but one of the goblins rushed towards him, preventing him from unsheathing his sword, before they swept Mizuya's leg. As he was falling, Mizuya grabbed onto the goblin's clothes, pulling the goblin down to the ground with him.
Javi lifted his kanabo to slam it into the other goblin martial artist, but with that opening, the goblin delivered a devastating punch to the human's gut, knocking the wind out of Javi's lungs.
The goblin quickly put Mizuya in an arm lock, but once it noticed the man was going to use his free hand to draw his sword, the goblin moved around to elbow drop onto Mizuya's stomach.
Despite having been hit, Javi proceeded with his attack, slamming the goblin in the shoulder with the kanabo, dislocating it and causing the goblin to fall on the ground.
Seeing that Mizuya was in trouble, Javi moved over to help, hitting the goblin that was on top of Mizuya with the kanabo, breaking the goblin's ribs and collapsing their lungs. The goblin coughed up blood, falling to the floor, unable to get up again.
Suddenly, Javi was grabbed from behind by the other goblin, being put in a choke hold he couldn't get out of, but he didn't panic because Mizuya was standing up and about to draw his sword... And to his horror, Mizuya thrusted the sword through Javi to hit the goblin behind him.
Mizuya sheathed his sword, and to Javi's surprise, there was no wound on him, but he could feel a wet spot on his back as the goblin that was grabbing him let go and fell to the ground, dead.
"Woah, that was scary. Why don't you use that sword more often- HOLY SHIT WHAT'S HAPPENING TO YOU?!" Javi screamed as Mizuya began to bleed from all of his ears, nose, mouth and eyes.
Mizuya was silent for a few seconds, and as the bleeding stopped, he began to speak. "I don’t use this sword more often because it is terrible. Whenever I injure my enemy, I take a bit of the damage they took through blood loss, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, it makes me bleed through my face.” he explained.
"Jesus… I can see why you wouldn’t wanna use that shit as your main weapon." Javi commented as they continued heading through the stronghold.
The men entered the next room, and it was a grizzly scene. The smell alone was enough to make Javi and Mizuya gag. Chained skeletons, chained corpses, and even a chained up person that seemed to still be alive... There was also a goblin, three times the size of a regular one, and also three times wider than a regular one, in the room.
"AM JOBLIN DA GOBLIN! PREEPAR TOO DYE, IHNVADAR!!"
