After over 5 Centuries of perpetual war with the invading demon armies from the north the Taeldain Empire finally pushed the demons back through the Hell's mouths they spawned from and sealed them for good. Then banishing the warbands of cultists and demon-worshipping tribes back into the northern wastes from whence they came. Having transitioned to peace times with some difficulty after all these years at war, the Empress Gundra Hansleburg has decided to send an expedition over the mountains to the south led by the Elector Count Arwin Franzson to reconnect with the rest of the world.
