Lore 4 - Turtle of the Vine
After the great exodus, the settlers found their way to the outside of a large tropical forest. Within, contained monsters of such power their numbers dwindled. Ten thousand strong whittled down to the hundreds through ambushes in the dark, overwork, and miniscule injuries growing into death.
The group faced many hardships during the trek, but well worth it. When nearing heart, they found a turtle draped in vines. The turtle large enough to tower the trees
Knowing they had met something of great majesty, the settlers kneeled no matter their state of wellbeing.
" Little friends, why have you come to my forest?" A voice of moss and age came from the Godbeast, though at the time they didn't know that's what it was.
Jorkin Dreizel, the leader of the group, spoke up explaining the perils they had faced; the war, the massacre, the fleeing, and finally the finding of the Great One's forest. No detail was skipped in order to hide the truth and lean the turtle's view into their favor.

"My friends, short of stature but high of heart, I present a new home for you. So long as I live in this forest, you may as well."
Tears flowed down everyone's faces, even a few bubbled in old Jorkin's eyes. The more emotional broke down and feel to the floor praising his kindness. Vowing to never forget his favors.
And none of them did. Instead passing on their knowledge to their kin so they may greater themselves with the knowledge.
