Qiu Ye spun his spear around his back as he dodged the sword light, with his back parallel to the ground he thrusted the spear at the Ancient Devil tens of times before flipping and landing on his feet.

He was heavily injured, the devil bone dagger continued to sap his power rapidly. His face was pale but he couldn't give up until the Ancient Devil dies. Suddenly, Qiu Ye's restriction stamp finally took hold and the devil stumbled. Immediately, Qiu Ye activated his bloodline; his hair extended and turned white, a holy light blazed from his eyes. The 7 gems on the shaft of his spear lit up and imbued the weapon with strength. Qiu Ye felt even more of his energy get sapped by both the dagger and into the spear, he was putting his entire life on this thrust. He closed his eyes and sensed where the last heart was in the Ancient Devil's body, he had destroyed 4 of the 5 hearts and the last one was in the centre of the devil's head.

The ground beneath his feat cracked as the energy built up. The Ancient Devil's eyes widened as he sensed the absolute dominating power gathering in the tip of the spear, how ever he could not dodge. With a blood curdling cry, Qiu ye thrusted the spear forward and pierced the devil's head. The tip of the spear entered the front and exited the back, a black heart pulsed as purple blood dripped out onto the blood red dirt.

Both Qiu Ye and the Ancient Devil collapsed. Qiu Ye's legs were completely immobile his spine had been broken mid way through and he was only holding himself together with the healing factor of his armour. With the little strength he had in his arms, he pulled himself back and leaned on a rock as he watched the Ancient Devil's body collapse into a pile of dust. In the centre of the pile laid a single pitch black gem which then cracked and and shattered.

Suddenly, 7 orbs of light descended from the skies. The colours corresponded with the gems on Qiu Ye's spear. The orbs turned into humanoid figures and stepped onto the ground. A woman shrouded in blue stepped forward and held up Qiu Ye's chin, a tear dripped down her cheek and onto the ground where a plant suddenly sprouted.

"You've done good my child, the crisis is over and life may start again all thanks to you. It is extremely unfortunate the Ancient Devil used the devil bone dagger, all of your energy has been destroyed. Your injuries are too grave, we can't heal you even if we tried."

Qiu Ye gave a coarse laugh, before coughing up blood.

"It's fine. It's fine. I didn't expect to last this long."

Suddenly a man shrouded in red stepped out behind the woman.

"We can, however, offer you a reward. With the control you have returned to us, we can give you another chance at life. Would you like to take up this offer."

"Another chance at life? What do you mean?"

"You understand that there are an unlimited amount of realities which exist right?"

"Well while this reality has been cleansed, there are others which require your help. I know it is unfair for us to ask for you to sacrifice yourself once again, however we would like to offer you something which might change your mind."

The man lifted his hand and an orb appeared, images of people and placed flashed. Qiu Ye's eyes widened, his lower lip quivered.

"We can send you to a reality extremely similar to this one you are comfortable with. A reality which was created about 400 years later than this one. Meaning when we send you over, you will essentially return about 400 years into the past. You can reunite with friends, family and other loved ones. How does that sound?"

Qiu Ye didn't even hesitate one bit.

"Of course yes."

He had been unable to keep his friends and family safe in this life, if he were given a chance to take care of them once again he wouldn't even think to refuse.

"Alright but there is a slight catch, don't worry it's nothing too big."

"What is it?"

The man suddenly looked a little embarrassed.

"Well. This reality was the one which we felt would suit you the most, it is extremely similar to this reality."

"Come on just tell me."

"Your body is going to be a little different."

The man's eyes darted around, not wanting to make contact with Qiu Ye. Qiu Ye's eyes squinted, trying to see what the man meant. But he was feeling impatient and wanted to reunite with his friends and family as soon as possible.

"Whatever it is I don't care just send me there."

The man sighed.

"Alright. Just remember you can not tell anyone of the things which have happened here, if the Ancient Devil of that reality hears of a being which transported between reality then you will be targeted. I fear your strength will not be able to take him on with your body 400 years ago. All that is transferred is your mind not your body I'm afraid."

"Alright alright already I get it."

The 7 spirits stood in a semi-circle around Qiu Ye and placed one of their hands on his head.

"We thank you Qiu Ye, Son of Gluttony, King of the Moon for your services. Your efforts will not go unforgotten."

Suddenly a white light gathered around Qiu Ye, he closed his eyes as the warm feeling spread across his body.

Qiu Ye, opened her eyes once again to see a large hallway. The floor was made of some sort of polished metal, a perfect reflection of the hall could be seen on the floor. High pillars were half built into the walls, golden engravings snaked up and into the vaulted ceilings. Between each pair of pillars were a large blue lantern, each had a name engraved into the side of the lantern, a total of 20 lanterns were present in the hall.

Qiu Ye immediately recognised where she was, even without her incredible memory she would have known what this place was. She noticed that there was a person walking with her who stopped when he noticed Qiu Ye suddenly act weirdly.

"It doesn't get any less magnificent every time I see it. This your first time?"

Qiu Ye wasn't expected him to suddenly talk to her but replied immediately

"I've seen photos but it's much bigger than I imagined."

The man walked in front of Qiu Ye and opened his arms

"Well, welcome to New Moon Academy. I am Ye Xing, a third year and your guide for this morning. Your upcoming tests will start in about 15 minutes."

He pulled out a tablet from his bag and and started scrolling down the list of names on the screen. Eventually he reached a profile with Qiu Ye's picture on it.

"Ah, found it. Qiu Ye, 15, from the Autumn Moon family. Did I get that right?"

Qiu Ye nodded

"Alright young lady Qiu, head down the hall and wait with your fellow students for the principal to talk and start the tests."

Qiu Ye was about to head off but suddenly she furrowed her eyebrows and looked back. In her mind she thought
