Questions race through my mind like a track car, ‘Where am I? How did you summon me? What is a domain? Why am I an administrator?’ but before I could ponder over any of them, a large chip of stone fell a few inches away from me.
After being splattered with dust, I look up to see the entire structure crumbling, the wolf already buried in stone, though his casket was made long ago.
My instincts kick in and I rush for the door, to find that its functionality has become nonexistent.
Scrambling for some sort of exist from this tomb of a church, I find a piece of wall where a large hole resides, barely big enough to exit. Rushing over, scaring my feet in more places then one, I jump out the hole to land in a bed of grass a foot or 2 away.
I turn my head to find the church, once proudly stood, now out of existence. As if it was never there in the first place, blades of grass were growing where it stood moments ago.
…
As I was walking through the forest, which felt like an endless maze, eventually I stumbled across another structure, except this time, I wasn’t alone.
Sounds of metal on metal, and playful chattering fill the air. I walk out of the woods into a small hamlet, only about a hundred people or less. I walk slowly into the village, and immediately notice some of the noise quiet down, and many people side eye me before steering the other direction without any hurry.
At first I assumed with the light shabby clothes on me I would be an eyesore, but quickly realizing it was commonplace among these commoners.
I walk through the handful of people on the streets, until I reached an inn.
Taking one step towards it, my completely penniless situation strikes me.

‘Why didn’t I think to check my inventory…’
Heavily disappointed in himself, Alex pulls 2 gold coins from his inventory into the one pocket on his robe, and walks into the inn.
Most settings he’s read in books has stated inns to be lively and full of people and energy, but the inn was close to silent, with 3 patrons easily spotable.
He walked up to the bartender, at the back of the building, passing a number of looks, but lacking any hostility. Simply full of curiosity.
The bar owner gives him a nod, and bluntly questioned “What will it be today, traveler?” “We have a wide selection of meed and rum for sampling, or perhaps you need a place to stay for the night?”
“The Latter” I inform, and he grabs a key from the wall behind him, easily showing the list of residence being 2, me and another, and remarks “Its 5 bronze a night, hopefully that should be affordable to a traveler such as yourself.” I nodded and pull out a gold coin. The one patron still watching and the bartender look at me with wide eyes, the room key falling to the ground catching the attention of the other patrons.
“Good Sir,” His attitude turned 180 “I don’t believe I could break such a large denomination..” “ Put it for the next month, keep the rest” I interrupt and he quickly picks up the key, accepts the coin and motions for me to follow him and we walk upstairs to the second floor. While he opens my rooms door, he states “Breakfast will be served tonight and tomorrow, don’t worry about any extra fees, its on the house.”
I nod and walk inside, taking the key simultaneously. As the door shuts I hear him breath a sign of relief and walk back down, with the bar starting to get noisy.
With the act finally over, I decided it was time to look at my situation more thoroughly now that I was alone.
