Light streamed in through the window as Hazel opened the red rose-patterned curtains, he was thankful that the window led right into the direction of sunrise so he could still enjoy the daylight. He filled a large pot with water until it was almost full then placed it on top of the black plate on the floor. The black plate was a stove powered by the abyssal energy ambient in the air. He picked up a glass bottle containing a thick red liquid as well as a jar containing a yellow powder.
"There you go, all my paychecks this month." Hazel frowned a little when he remembered how hard it was to get this stuff.
Even though all the plants on earth were gone or so he believed, it wasn't impossible to get some spices for cooking. Many people stockpiled food supplies in bunkers and some of them were canned spices that were now valued at a very high price. Hazel was one of those people who would do anything to get some of those fragrant spices, even if it would cause him to fall into poverty he would still do it.
The pungent smell of various spicy mixtures especially chili could be smelled as he uncorked the glass bottle, it made him fall into a brief euphoria. He recalled the past when this smell could be smelled every morning when his mother was cooking, it made him sink into an unpleasant nostalgia. After pouring out all the contents of the bottle, he then unscrewed the lid of the jar and he could faintly smell the broth and a hint of the earth as well. He only took a tablespoon of it and sprinkled it on, instantly the fragrant smell spread throughout the kitchen. His kitchen had a special barrier to prevent outside air from entering and vice versa, so everyone in the living room shouldn't be able to smell it.
Once the water in the pot began to boil, Hazel quickly prepared the Abyssal Screecher's legs. He first divided it into smaller pieces by snapping it and then washed it briefly in the sink. Once he deemed it clean, he put the pieces into the pot and then covered the pot with a black disk. Hazel only used 2 pieces of Abyssal Screecher's leg, but he knew that it was more than enough to feed 7 people including him so he kept the rest in the large refrigerator.
Although he had a bigger body than most people, he couldn't eat too much because his stomach was small and it was quite a hassle.
'They gonna eat this like a fucking pig…' he thought as he thought about keeping some for himself.
While Hazel was waiting for the meat to cook, he heard footsteps coming from the direction of the dining room and from there a girl who seemed to be a teenager walked towards him. The girl was wearing a white one-piece dress that had a gray skull symbol embroidered on the chest. She had jet black skin and a faintly lit blue tattoo on her face, and on her head grew 3 white horns that looked like a knife. Her violet-colored eyes were entirely staring at Hazel with a dim light.
"What's wrong, Groove? Why did you come here?" ask him because it is not common for people to come here. The strong odors of spices and fermented beverages discourage others from entering his kitchen. But in her case, it seems like she's not bothered by any of that.
"Uh... about that, how about that drink you promised?" she asked hesitantly while twiddling her fingers like a child begging their parents when they want something.
"Ah, wait a moment." He said when he remembered what she meant.
Hazel went to the corner of the kitchen which was filled with many groceries as well as several bottles and barrels containing wine, beer, dried meat, and other known things. He picked up a wooden barrel and immediately opened it and took out a narcosack from his bag. He then used a knife to pierce the meat bag and released a bluish liquid from it into the barrel. After a while, the liquid stopped flowing and he put the meat bag in the refrigerator.
The pungent smell of fermented alcohol pierced his nose and then there was also the refreshing smell of grass mixed into one disgusting smell.
"Nice clothes, by the way. Where did you get it?" asked Hazel as he stirred the drink in the barrel with a wooden spoon.
"Uh... Dave made it for me." replied Groove embarrassedly, his black face showing a blue blush on his cheeks.
"So he can sew huh, you're lucky to have a husband like him, buddy."
"Y-yes…."
Hazel stopped questioning Groove, he saw that his simple question was more than enough to make the poor girl very nervous. He knew that Groove was very sensitive if anyone tried to bring up her daily life after she married and Hazel didn't want to be an intruder, so he decided to just ask her less sensitive questions.
"Here you go buddy, enjoy." Hazel carried the barrel with a smug on his face. Most of the time people can't see his eyes, but it's a good thing.
Most people don't know what kind of horror the eyes can cause.
"Ooooh!"
Hazel could see that the eyes of the girl in front of him were getting brighter with excitement, he was also a little bit excited to taste this beer.
"Please enjoy my special red beer, it's a bit wrong to call this a red beer because it's purple." He babbled, not realizing that Groove had already taken a sip of the beer with the empty can in her hand.
"Aaaah, this is the best."
"Oi!"
Hazel was about to reprimand his drunk best friend but he decided against it because the food was done. He quickly lifted the pot from the stove and opened the lid and instantly the fragrant smell just exploded throughout the room, without further ado he immediately took the Abyssal Screecher's leg pieces and put them on a large tray. He of course used a food clipper to pick them up, he didn't want to ruin the taste of the food with his dirty hands.
"Here, take this to the dining room. I don't want to starve my nephew." Hazel handed the large tray to Groove who was staggering a bit due to her hangover.
"Uh... you're not coming?"
"I will, but let me enjoy my short life for a bit first." Hazel quickly went to the cutlery storage rack to get herself a mug.
"Remember, Mr. Hazel... you can only drink a little bit at a time. Remember the last time when you drank a barrel full, you almost burned down the entire apartment." She muttered in a worried and frightened tone.
"Of course, I remember, that's why...." Hazel, who heard that, picked up a large metal mug that could somehow fit in the small cupboard.
"Just a little sip wouldn't hurt."
Those were the last words she thought of before things would get a little out of control.
****
One day later….
On a very quiet street, far outside the city of Brenkas. Hazel walked in a daze like a soulless body, he continued to walk down the alley without wearing any piece of clothing on his body. Exposing his brownish bulk body, he doesn't feel comfortable about it.
The buildings around the place looked heavily damaged and some could collapse with just a gentle touch from an unwary fool. Hazel continued to walk towards the building that was the tallest among the others and also the most fragile, his empty eyes could only stare at the ground as his body moved on its own.
He finally arrived in front of the unidentifiable building and fixed his gaze on the sun that was directly above his head. Without realizing it, his body began to tremble and eventually fell toward the building due to the building's deteriorated structure, it instantly collapsed and fell on him. The impact on the surrounding buildings was quite destructive, many other buildings began to collapse and made a noise that could attract the attention of anyone who happened to be around the location.
The place was quiet for a while until a rumbling sound was heard amongst the piles of rubble.
"Aw, my head feels like a pudding... eh." The slightly recovered Hazel dug himself out of the rubble looking at the surrounding area which looked unfamiliar to him.
"What happened... and what is this place?" asked Hazel to his semi-conscious self.
Hazel got up from the pile of rubble and went down the dark street in front of him. He was still wondering how he had gotten here.
"It's so cloudy today... it's hard to see," he said in an unclear voice, he felt that his mouth it's so dry like a dessert.
"W-water, I need water...."
Hazel looked around hoping to find a source of water. He searched around the buildings that were supposedly still standing and finally found a puddle in a dark alley that was very humid. He examined the puddle for a moment, despite the dirty condition of the surrounding environment the puddle was crystal clear and Hazel immediately drank it without a second thought. Once satisfied, Hazel relaxed his body and leaned against the wall. He tried to gather all his memories of what happened to him and how he got to this place.
"Ah... I think a glass of red beer is a bit too much. Especially since it's about 70 g of tetrahydrocannabinol, that's pretty messed up." he said while holding his head which felt very heavy.
"Fucking awful."
He picked up a dirty cloth that happened to be beside him and used it to cover his crotch. He was relaxing peacefully without any interruptions or so he thought before he heard the sound of footsteps coming towards him.
"Excuse me, sir, do you have a moment?"
A middle-aged man in a butler's outfit asked him with a wide grin. The man was well-built despite his appearance, but what caught Hazel's attention the most were the man's eyes. His eyes looked like topaz stones carved in such a way that they looked like eyes. The man appeared out of nowhere and he didn't even realize his existence until he called out to him.
"I have all day here, so what do you want?" he replied lazily, all he wanted right now was to relax until he got hungry and went home. He answered casually and didn't feel suspicious or anything, he had experienced this before and he knew how to handle it.
"Thank you very much for your help sir, we are from the West Weasley Agency and would like to invite you to join us in welcoming our new members. We will have a sumptuous buffet and don't forget the drinks, we have a wide selection of whiskey, beer, rum, tuak, wine, and much more."
Hazel, who had been too lazy to pay attention to what the man was saying, was now very interested and excited. He had never been invited to any buffet so when someone offered this and he couldn't help but feel excited about it, especially when it came from an unknown person who appeared out of nowhere.
"Well, I'm a little interested in that invitation of yours. Does this have anything to do with my reputation or do you just happen to pick people at random too" before Hazel could finish his question, the man started laughing and looked straight into his eyes?
"No need to worry Mr. Hazel, we know about your past and how society has treated you. But this time you can trust us, we only invite special people like you for a simple reason... what else could it be but to show gratitude?"
"Alright...." he replied in confusion, he never knew if there was someone who had respect for him.
"Then I would like you to sign this petition sir." He thrust a yellow paper and pen in front of his face.
"Petition? What is this for again, it better not be something ridiculous." Hazel took the paper in confusion and began to read the contents, which was a big mistake.
"A petition to legalize underage marriage." the man replied with a flat face.
"...."
"...."
Hazel immediately got up and handed back the paper, he didn't say a word and started running away from the man.
"Crazy ass fucking dipshit, like fuck I would," he said without looking back, he didn't even want to look at the man's face for a while.
Meanwhile, the man just stood there and slowly began to blend into the shadows. His amber-colored eyes stared slyly at Hazel who was running towards the city like a.
"The time is just around the corner...."

Meanwhile, in a place far, far away...
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, there was only sand and a few rock formations as far as the eye could see. The frigid night air blew through the desolate desert, producing a whistling sound that was unpleasant to the ears.
Among the rock formations, there was a campsite with two figures sitting in front of a dark blue campfire. They were both wearing shabby robes that would give you no warmth at all except discomfort and itchiness. Even so, they continued to do their respective activities regardless of the cold air that would freeze a human to death in no time.
One of them seemed to be fiddling with a radio communication device, it had the same shape as an old-school cell phone except that this one had a gold ring on the transmitter and microphone. The sound of jingling and rattling metal came from its body, it sounded like the sound of mechanical parts if you listened closely.
"So, Ezigio... how was the recruitment test?" a man's mechanical voice asked the figure in front of him.
"Not good, Polvkrat. I messed up, when I got there I was suddenly pulled by the guild to exterminate a crowd of Abyssal Screechers near the city wall." replied a young man who was coating his sword with some kind of white substance.
The young man had blonde hair, fair skin, and orange pupils. Ezigio was an experienced young hunter, widely recognized by other hunters for his impressive skills. He had enrolled himself with the famous hunter group called "Siege", he had successfully passed the selection and only needed to take the acceptance exam.
"Too bad, you're obsessed with that hunter group aren't you?"
Polvkrat suddenly looked at him sharply, it was so intense that it was as if he was staring at his soul. He opened the hood covering his face and revealed his true figure. Its head was shaped like an ancient Greek war helmet and inside were various mechanical machine components made of gold, spinning and supporting themselves on top of each other like clockwork. Its X-shaped opening shone in a divine golden light.
"Not really, I'm more interested in their leader. Hazel Dyrafel, you know that person don't you?" Ezigio tried to divert his anxiety and change the atmosphere by asking him with a serious tone.

"Hazel? Of course, I know, he was my number one customer back then you know. The last time I met him was when he beat you up so gracefully in the tournament back then. Look, even I still have the video."
"Yes, I'm glad you remember that moment so well. It would be disappointing if you didn't record it and share it with the other Hunter." Ezigio dismissed Polvkrat's hand which was holding a tablet-like device, displaying the video footage of him being defeated by Hazel with only one punch.
"That was rather piercing sarcasm you know."
'Sarcasm?' He thought irritably, Ezigio doesn't even know which part of his statement can be called sarcastic.
"Thank you very much for the compliment." Ezigio tried to ignore Polvkrat's overacting which had been trying to insult him, he was more uncomfortable with the fact that everything he had said earlier was true.
It was a little difficult for him to be able to see the expressions of someone like Polvkrat, they had various body languages and it was difficult to remember them one by one. He could only rely on his ability to see the wavelength of energy emitted by all living things to be able to read Polvkrat's expressions.
"So what's up with this Hazel guy, do you want to fight him again?" Polvkrat asked a question that flooded Ezigio's head with all the bad memories of the first time he fought him.
He still remembered the aura of terror and desperation when Hazel set foot in that colosseum, the shivering sensation when Hazel looked at him with eyes full of anger and gluttony made him paralyzed on the spot. As a result of being defeated with just one punch to the chest, he felt very upset considering it left him unable to move his body properly for a month.
"You could say that." Ezigio swallowed all his doubts and re-established his resolve.
"Why do you insist on fighting him again? After all, it's not like you'll survive this time after fighting her." Polvkrat said, he didn't want to make him feel weak but that was the truth because the difference in strength between the boy and Hazel was too high. It wasn't every day that he showed care for him so openly, but this time it was a little different for some reason.
"There's no harm in trying right? After all, the person I am now is much different from the person I used to be. Everyone changes my friend, and so do I." he said, he understood the meaning of Polvkrat's words which seemed condescending but he couldn't help the emotions that had been churning inside him for years.
"So is he boy, you don't even know anything about him. He could have grown two heads on his back this time you know," he replied seriously, he was worried about the mindset of the young man in front of him. He knows that teenagers are stupid and they are proud of it.
"That is why Polvkrat. I need your help, you must have information about him right?" Ezigio got up from his place and went straight to Polvkrat and grabbed his shoulders while bringing his face closer.
Polvkrat didn't say a word and just pushed him away before he finally took out a red card from under his cloak. Ezigio took the small card with both hands, he treated the card with such care as if it could shatter at any moment. He reached into his robe and took out a tablet. He inserted the card into the card reader but his hand stopped when he was about to insert the card completely. He looked at Polvkrat with an incredulous expression, he asked for his approval and the person in front of him just nodded his head. Without hesitation, Ezigio immediately inserted the card.
Instantly, the screen of the tablet started flashing and began to display the various kinds of information that were inside the card.

[End]
Polvkrat noticed the expression of the young man in front of him, his face which had previously been very bright now became grim. He knew why and how he became like that but he acted like he didn't know.
"It's too blurry, I'm missing a lot of important information about him. Did anyone tell you about his strengths or weaknesses?" Ezigio asked him without taking his eyes off the device, he knew that the boy was slightly sympathetic but he was trying to hide it for some reason.
"Well, that's what you'll get if you're not careful in choosing a cheap item. The rest of the information is stored in my head."
"Wait a minute, you bought it?!!!"
"Well, I bought it because I was bored. That's all, nothing special."
"I've never heard of anyone buying information about the most powerful person on the planet just out of boredom."
"I am."
"...."
"...."
They looked into each other's faces and after a short pause of silence, Ezigio asked his main question.
"So... Can I get some information about him? You know, the more complete one."
"Sure... of course, you can. Only, you have to...." Polvkrat bowed his head, the golden light beginning to fade as his head began to disappear into the cloak.
"I have to pay for it?"
"YOU HAVE TO PAY WITH YOUR SON!!!" He shouted, he even jumped right in front of Ezigio and shouted it loudly right in front of his face.
"Wah!... What the hell?!!" Ezigio, who was shocked to death by his partner's behavior, tried to break free from his grip.
"Come on man, stop pretending and start getting a damn woman or two. You've been single for 25 years and still wondering what the hell I'm talking about!!?"
"Of course, I know, but why and since when do you care about such things? Also, what does that have to do with this?" Ezigio asked him once, completely dumbfounded by his partner's emotional outburst.
Ezigio had always seen Polvkrat as a selfish and self-centered person, not forgetting that he was not one to always display his emotions to others. He wasn't apathetic, there was still a bit of generosity in him. But seeing him like this made Ezigio confused and suspicious at the same time, it felt as if he was seeing a demon who helped humans to avoid sin.
"Besides... if I have a child someday, what will you do with it?" he asked, trying to ascertain the meaning of Polvkrat's statement earlier.
"Nothing special, just use it as a lab monkey for a special project of mine."
"Special project?"
"It has nothing to do with you, so how about it, are you interested in my offer?" Polvkrat stretched out his hand and observed the still-frozen Ezigio casually.
"Last time you started the project, you destroyed the city wall by attracting the attention of a bunch of Clam Ram towards the city." Ezigio looked at him suspiciously.
"The horned one." He added it's the strongest kind of Clam Ram species.
"Trust me, this one is different. I added the word 'special' to it anyway, didn't I?" he denied, trying to convince Ezigio.
"Alright... then we have a deal!" Ezigio was too indifferent to Polvkrat's project and shook his hand tightly.
He could feel the sensation of cold metal as he shook Polvkrat's hand, he tried to get used to it but he could not. Ezigio felt that every time he made a deal with him, he felt as if he had just made a deal with a demon and he was offering his life for a small price. He wondered to himself why he trusted this person, he knew exactly the answer but he felt very sentimental when he remembered it.
'He's not a demon, he's just a merchant', he thought to put his mind at ease.
"Alright, I'll wait for your wedding invitation. Then, please ask me 3 things you want to know about him."
"Wait a moment, just to make sure. Is there a time limit or something?"
"No, you are free to look for your life partner at this time. I don't care how long it takes."
"Are you sure about that, I mean I could just renege on it you know?"
"I know you won't." Polvkrat gave an answer that made Ezigio a little happy, he never knew that he had been so trusted by him.
But to spoil his mood, he felt a burning sensation in the palm of his right hand.
"I know you won't renege on this deal, so I'm giving you a little gift."
"Wha-what is this?" Ezigio tried to endure the growing pain in his right hand.
"An identification tag."
"An ID?"
"You will need it later but for now, you can only wait."
Ezigio looked at his palm, it now had a golden gear symbol that had 6 teeth. He tried to touch it and as a result, no pain was felt.
"So... what is Hazel's main source of power?" Ezigio asked his first question.
"Power source, you mean energy right?"
"Yes."
"Heh, not like the Kuroner. Hazel absorbs abyssal energy from the surroundings and converts it into his own, I prefer to call it 'Catastrophic Energy'."
"What can this 'Catastrophic Energy' do?" Ezigio, who was not satisfied with Polvkrat's answer, asked for further explanation.
"Simply put, it will kill you slowly if you intentionally or unintentionally touch it."
"Alright, what about its raw power?"
"It's strong enough to crack a horned Clam Ram shell, but if he strengthens himself with that energy. He can pack a destructive power equivalent to 1200 megatons of dynamite. For comparison, that's a quarter of the explosion of the Great Abyssal Dragon's Black Bolt projectile that almost destroyed the European continent." He replied nonchalantly, Ezigio who was listening carefully could only gulp when he learned that.
"But the damage it deals is focused on just one target, it sounds trivial at first... but that is the reason why those maggots have always feared its existence." Polvkrat paused slightly on his statement, the calm atmosphere turning tense in an instant as he began to bring his face closer to Ezigio's.
"If it can only be aimed at a single target, then the damage done will be focused on a single point which would be a one-shot type attack."
"Can he use it all the time? I mean, that 1200-megaton punch...." Ezigio could not help but be worried by this fact, he felt as if his body began to shiver slightly.
"Not really, he destroys his hand every time he does that. The energy generated by his body is a double-edged sword. If used well, he can use it to strengthen his own body but if it is too much, it will end badly. Besides, growing the missing limbs would cost him a lot of energy."
"Oh thank you, god, it would be a disaster if he could...." Ezigio breathed a sigh of relief after hearing that, he wiped the cold sweat off his pale face while calming his heart. He was glad he was able to obtain information regarding the legendary Hunter whose name was widespread everywhere, but at the same time, he began to wonder where this ridiculous goal of his came from.
About 10 years ago, Ezigio, who was at the peak of his career as a Hunter, tried to enter a special tournament in the city of Brenkas. The tournament was held every 5 years and every time it was held, many Hunters from all over the world came to participate. The competition in the tournament was very simple, two Hunters fought each other until one of them could no longer fight or surrendered. There is only one important rule in the tournament, which is not to kill your opponent.
He tried to draw his fate there and needless to say, things got tense when he made it to the final match. He had to admit that at that time he had very little experience in fighting, he could only utilize simple sword techniques as well as raw power. Throughout the match, he tried to mimic and absorb his opponent's martial arts techniques into his own and gradually he began to feel invincible. Until the man who was the embodiment of disaster stepped into the arena.
The building where the tournament was held was built exactly like the colosseum in Rome, they tried to build it as similar as possible with improvised materials. Ezigio was confident that he could win the tournament, but his spirit began to collapse when the judges started the match. His whole body suddenly refused to move while Hazel was getting closer to him. He felt his spine begin to fall as Hazel's right hand began to be covered with a blood-red aura and finally, he ventured to look at his face directly. Even though it was blocked by the helmet, he could feel the thirst for power and blood coming out of him, the terror and fear he felt at that moment was so strong that it almost made him peed his pants.
He couldn't remember anything after the crushing blow to the chest that made him lose consciousness instantly.
He was snapped out of his reverie when he heard the squeak of Polvkrat going into the tent.
"What are you doing?"
"Getting ready."
"Getting ready? But it's still 2 in the morning. You usually leave at 8?" asked Ezigio as he approached him.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you that I'm going home today, didn't I?."
"Going home? Wait a minute, don't tell me...."
"Yes, it's time for this tired me to return home to 'Mother Eva'. I'll be leaving in a moment, so hurry up and finish that question of yours."
"N-no way... you're going home. But why?" he asked incredulously.
"Jeez kid, have you forgotten who I am?"
"Y-you are Polvkrat, the Golden Merchant. The one who travels the entire galaxy for nothing but power. But that doesn't explain why!" Ezigio began to hold his shoulders once more, his always relaxed face beginning to flinch.
"That's it, because of that ridiculous title I must return now. Mother Eva only gave time to wanderers like me for 20 million years, now there is only one year left and that is the time to return to my home." Polvkrat easily removed his hand from his shoulder, and he stroked Ezigio's yellow hair to calm the boy's heart.
"N-no way... why all of a sudden?" Ezigio, who was not holding back his tears, bowed his head.
"Gosh, I thought so too. You could say I'm enjoying my time here too much, I wouldn't remember this if that signal hadn't just popped into my head last night."
"If you leave... How can I repay my debt?"
"We will meet again, someday no matter how long it takes. Our meeting is fated son, the day I found you in a pile of garbage was the most memorable day for me."
"B-really?"
"No, not really. I've had better."
"...."
Ezigio could not hold back the emotions that were just bursting out. He had thought of Polvkrat as a kind-hearted uncle who always acted like an asshole. He remembered the day he first met him, he was 7 years old at the time. He met him when he was fighting for his own life against the Hand Walker, a giant worm monster with legs shaped like human arms, that could tear apart the bodies of its victims with its scissor-like mouth. He fought the monster armed only with an iron pipe and eventually won at the cost of both his arms and legs.
Polvkrat came at the last moment when he was about to breathe his last.
He came like an angel of death offering him a second chance at perfection. He saved his life and gave him prosthetic hands and feet, in exchange for which he had to repay his debt at any cost. He lived together with him and had to comply with his requests to collect certain items or kill certain monsters. He continued to do so to the point where he began to think of himself as his own family. Polvkrat was no angel, he often acted selfishly and cunningly. Despite those flaws, Ezigio always respected him, he was born without parents and Polvkrat was the only one who cared about him.
Even if he already paid his old debt, he never feels like he already did it.
"The day I met you, was the day I knew the truth was revealed." Polvkrat stood up and started walking away from him.
"I have one more question...." Ezigio woke up from his slump and looked at Polvkrat with determination in his eyes.
"Is it possible for me to defeat him?"
"Heh, it all depends on how you fight with him. I'll give you the basic information about him that I gathered myself and... think of it as a parting gift." Polvkrat threw a black scroll at him while laughing lightly
"Remember this, if you can't defeat him today. There will always be the next time, as long as he doesn't rip you apart to death," warn him so the little pesky boy doesn't try anything stupid.
"It has been a pleasure doing business with you my friend. As you get stronger, we will meet again somewhere and when... but surely." Polvkrat took out a device that looked like a walkie-talkie and pressed the small red button in the center. After he pressed it, his body began to float and was surrounded by gold dust that sparkled beautifully.
"Thank you very much for everything."
"You're welcome, oh I forgot something. Please give the items inside the red bag in the tent to that person if you want to go see him and also he's the key-"
Before he could finish his words, he simply disappeared and left gold dust everywhere. Ezigio was silent for a while and walked towards the tent. He was trying to hold back his tears earlier and it seemed like he had reached his limit. He sat on the ground and cried bitterly, he did that for a while and then stopped. He doesn't know how many times he tried to steady his heart but always failed and failed. It was like trying to patch a hole with icing, it tasted sweet yet was so fragile.
But this time he mustered up all his willpower for 2 things, namely paying his debts and defeating his biggest wall.
"Ready or not, Hazel. I will beat you up and clear my name in Polvkrat's eyes.'' He held the black scroll tightly, the yellow lines hidden beneath the fake skin of his hands beginning to glow.
He also remembered Polvkrat. last words as he disappeared, he smiled slightly and felt a little annoyed at the same time.
"That guy... if there was a nomination for the most annoying man ever, he would win it very easily."
'I'll do it even if it means I have to endure the same defeat... but this time it won't be a single blow.'
He finally entered the tent and prepared himself for tomorrow's historic moment. He did this for himself... and Polvkrat of course, still felt embarrassed every time he saw the video.
