13. A Fine Dinner

13. A Fine Dinner

"Let's see if this old trick can work against lizards."

[No, there's no way it can trick him]

In response to the taunt, Hazel started raising her voice like a madman.

"Shut up you bastard! If only you hadn't been late to tell me if, I could have taken my gauntlet. It wouldn't have gotten this bad you fucking useless bastard!!!"

[Stop talking and do it, you're just making yourself weird. Also, berating me is like spitting on yourself].

"Huh?!!! What did you mean just now? You fucking brain parasite, you are a bastard."

[What an idiot.]

"Wh-what! How dare you speak like that, we'll see..."

While her mouth was mumbling every curse she could think of, Hazel continued to carry out her plan. Without a good paintbrush, an artist could not pour out their imagination. Nonsense, at least that was what Hazel had in mind. She had always been taught by her father to be able to use anything. She was never as good at sculpting runes as her father, but she could at least understand it. Using her claw as a pen, Hazel deftly sculpted symbols and lines. She occasionally dipped her claw into the wound on her stomach, making sure that the tip never dried up.

"Come on, just this once..."

While the others played their fingers boisterously, the Guardian of Light flew around her like a vulture. Maybe Hazel wasn't as mad as before, but she still couldn't accept it. Thankfully, if this one plan could work, no, this one had to work. If this one didn't also work, she would indirectly lose.

"Phew, next is..."

Adjusting the size slightly, Hazel threw the slab into her mouth and started chewing. It tasted like chewing a bland dry wafer, a cup of milk would make it perfect. Locking onto her target, Hazel expelled the remaining residue of chaos energy in her body. She couldn't be rash for a while, at least until her body completely cooled down properly.

"Come to Mama, you chicken that failed to evolve." She muttered, her facial expression turning into a mess.

The gem on the back of her gauntlet ticked and blue light spread through her veins. Positioning her hand in such a way, she aimed at the dragon with pinpoint precision.

"Still not doing anything? Man, what were you thinking..."

Was it strange for her to feel worried if her opponent did nothing? If it had been Ezigio, the boy would have already beheaded her again. She probably never knew how people treated her, especially if they were fast. Even with so many openings, the dragon did nothing to attack her.

'A spell that takes a lot of time? It could be, but at least she can throw a few spears… right?'

Without another thought, Hazel put her armor back on. A thick blood aura covered her body, the rest could be seen with the naked eye. Unlike the previous armor, this one seemed more bulky and difficult to move. With many parts that looked heavy and thick, it strongly depicted a solid fortress. It kept the touch of dark red color and Hazel-style spiked accents, just like the crab with a touch of a polygon. The part that changed slightly was the head, it kept its shape in such a way. But at first glance, it is shaped like the head of a praying mantis.

She didn't have too explicit control over the chaos energy. Whenever she had to do so, Hazel would need a few carvings here and there. Fortunately for her, her father was good at it, she could pick up a skill or two from him. A few biscuit pieces filled with Armor Runes were something that could be appreciated now and then. It took some getting used to until she could live without it.

'Just do it, bastard!'

Charging once more at her feet, Hazel was no longer lax. She pumped it as much as possible to the point where it would explode, and then she did. Like a catapult bullet, she shot viciously through the air. Her legs were practically numb, but her spirit was not.

"Adios, buddy!!!"

Hazel may not have been able to see her surroundings very well, but there was one thing that was all too conspicuous to her.

'Huh? A boy... no, a girl?'

She was pretty sure that it was just her and Flerdrest here before, or at least. She had never even noticed her existence until now. The blue-haired girl looked quite skinny by her standard, but her guts were quite appreciable.

'He was being scolded... by her? No, the dragon was yelling back at her.'

As soon as Hazel was close enough to them, the girl immediately pointed at her. At her fingertips was a faint speck of white flame, but who knew what it could do? Closing her eyes, the girl's mouth uttered something softly.

"[Decimate]"

Creating several white magical circles, the girl summoned something from within. A white claymore was thrown and shot out very quickly.

'Good, another spellcaster...'

Luckily, she had already reached the surface of the dome to perch on. The dome was made of a magical layer that wasn't very stable, but it was sturdy enough if you pierced it a little.

"Oh, come on!"

Catching the claymore with her left hand, she used her other hand to punch a hole in the dome. As easy as it looked, it was quite difficult to do so when she did not have a firm foothold. Seeing her opponent start to move away from her, Hazel clenched her jaw as hard as she could.

"Oh no way, this time you're not going anywhere damn it!" Shouted the armored madman. "Let's see how you can outsmart this, hehe."

Hazel couldn't forget the two giant pillars ready to roast her at any moment. She took out two gun barrels from her back, then menacingly aimed them. Filling them with dense explosive energy, a salvo of shots ripped through the pillars in a split second. Practically reducing them to exploding shards of glass. A worried expression began to appear on the dragon's face, which gave Hazel a little idea.

'Can't focus? Maybe it's because of that girl...'

Pointing the barrel of her gun at the girl, a large grin was plastered behind the helmet.

"Eat this!"

Another salvo was fired from the barrel, hundreds of bullets worth a lot of energy being launched. The dragon was fast, but he still had trouble keeping the girl protected. In the madness, Hazel began to realize that the protective dome was fading fast. Although she had expected it to happen, she had no countermeasures against it. But the good news was that the dragon fell after a few explosive pellets slapped its face. The smile on its face only lasted for a moment, it faded instantly afterward. The girl brought by the dragon healed him in a split second.

"No way... a healer?!!!"

Disappointed and annoyed, Hazel fired another salvo. All those bullets would have torn them apart if the girl hadn't deflected them with her strange ability. Drowning in thick emotions of annoyance and anger. Hazel faced the dilemma of whether she should once again drown in anger, or use what was left of her sanity. Licking her spit was her favorite thing to do at times like this. Times when she had to sacrifice a little of her inner promise for a little strength.

'We even traded our dick for strength, why does it always feel so heavy? That's it, it was a last-ditch effort to get you down in one piece...'

[Hey, you finally used the words I made up!]

"..."

It wouldn't be Hazel if she didn't do something ridiculous just for a piece of pepper. Trading one thing for another was a common thing, it was just that she was taking it to the realm of the stupid. Trading dick for power? That is something that is way too tempting for her. Who could blame Branik? Hazel at that moment needed a word to restore her mental state. Putting together some strange words that could make her feel better was an important commitment.

[A small price for salvation.]

Her eyes darkened as she realized that she had run out of ideas. Freefalling once again, Hazel made sure her landing this time was smooth. Standing still for a moment, her armor lost its luster again. All the flowing energy was pulled instantly into the core of her body.

[You suck, that's all you can do?]

'That's just the way it is, I'm a sucker...'

[If I may know, what are you doing? We can still take him down, you know?]

"There's no more hope... if only it was-"

[What is it?]

"If that's what they want, then we should give them everything..."

[You're so useless...]

"Just light the furnace, damn it... can you do it for me?"

[As long as it brings victory, fine.]

She's always resigned to everything, and it's a mental burden. Not accepted in society? It can't be helped, that's just the way it is. Not strong enough to protect his family? No matter what, she has to try harder.

But to her... it was sickening.

Her heart rate increased drastically, steam began to escape from between his armor. Red light leaked from every available gap and faded away. Cracking sounds began to be heard, and a hand punched out from her back. A jet-black hand accented with red veins, complete with rune carvings poked out.

"If destruction is what they want, then we will bring it to them!!!"

Like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, Hazel emerged from her armor in all her fury. A deafening roar, accompanied by the sound of thunder accompanied her fury. As a monster powered by rage, emotions had completely clouded her eyes.

All creatures with hearing will be tormented by its wailing. The sound of the screech, which was filled with the weight of emotion, was also terrifyingly loud. Dust scattered and flew everywhere, the plain filled with fear.

The pupils, shaped like the symbol of the cardinal directions, began to contract onto their prey. It came out of the empty shell, menacingly. Her body was much larger than before, but still slender and somehow still looked petite. The hard black coating on her skin was shiny like obsidian, while the veins running through her body flared like lava. Opening its jaws to 90°, a breath of black smoke escaped along with a splash of red plasma. Rows of bear trap teeth adorned its sadistic face perfectly. The black demon silently examined her body for a while, before she disappeared from the radar completely.

"Oh shit, she's getting serious now."

It sounded like flag-waving words.

****

'Just a few more moments and the sun will set soon.'

"Somehow this year, it feels like a fuckery... what else-"

"Flerdrest, what are you doing? Let's hurry up and attack her, she hasn't moved in a while!" Shouted the stowaway on his back.

Using all his mental capacity to ignore the girl, Flerdrest kept his guard up. Hazel's energy traces had indeed disappeared from the radar, but her form still lingered in place. Now and then the black demon-like creature opened its mouth and spewed black smoke and red lightning into the surroundings. Its eyes locked onto the two of them, threatening their existence just by staring. Swallowing a lump of stone in his throat, Flerdrest prayed to god with all his heart.

'God, please send that damn chicken here...'

"REEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

A high-pitched demonic shriek, it was the only thing that went through his head. The cursed voice startled the girl on her back as well, making her almost slip. Hazel had lost her mind, and that was a sign of death. Because Hazel's current form was the reason why Flerdrest feared her so much.

"Oh shit, she's getting serious now."

"Fle-flerdrest! What was that, it felt like... my life was trying to leave my body earlier." The girl's cries were shaky, her fear was only exacerbated when she realized that the dragon was just as scared.

"N-nah, that was a death wail. It almost killed me once... almost!"

'But unlike back then, this place doesn't have tall towers. It's hard to imagine how she could...!!!'

"It disappeared..."

"No need to tell me, Nozu. I noticed it too..."

The dust cloud was not a problem for Flerdrest, but for some reason, he was beginning to worry. Releasing several strong gusts of wind, he cleared the dust from several areas. The blue-haired girl also threw in a few balls of wind, which sucked up the dust quickly.

"I was going to punish you for misusing the teleportation crystal... But now, we must try to survive as best we can. Therefore, Nozu! Use all the detection skills you have!"

"Yes, captain!"

Support had already intervened in this incompatible dispute. It was certain that Hazel would try to lock Nozu up, hence Flerdrest's headache. The only sure option was to take her to a safe place, but that was difficult. He could have used teleportation magic or crystals, but in this crazy state, it was impossible. The energy wave Hazel had generated, could cause a structural crisis of mana. In a simple sense, it could cause a space disruption that could be fatal.

Three magic circles appeared under Flerdrest's body. From there emerged a white futuristic cannon chassis with a triangular motif. Charging in unison, the cannons positioned themselves on their own.

"Target sighted! Requesting permission to fire, captain!"

"Stop joking you shit mouth, also don't shoot! No matter what you do, don't fire!"

"Fire!!!"

Three particle-destroying cannons fired simultaneously. A loud roaring sound could be heard as the dimensional space was slightly warped by it. The arrowhead-shaped cannon projectiles tore through the air layer, creating a loud whistling sound. Their target was the savage girl who was running on both hands and feet.

"HEY!!!" She shouted hysterically at Nozu. "I told you not to shoot!"

"So-sorry! I couldn't hear you clearly... sorry." The girl replied with a pitiable expression, her eyes starting to tear up.

The dragon's eyes were bulging as wide as possible, there was a possibility that they could be dislodged if things got worse.

'Oh my god, who am I lying to... we're not getting out of this place alive.'

The musings of the mighty dragon's heart might make people question their reputation. But what was being dealt with was a large-scale disaster that even this world was frightened by. This was the horror of a biological mechanical construct powered by cosmic energy, a nightmare.

Two of the projectiles managed to hit their targets, but not the third. Hazel caught the projectile with her left hand and slowly absorbed it. Her obsidian body heated up as large amounts of energy began to flow from one hand to the other.

Observing that, Flerdrest slammed his brain as hard as he could. Squeezing out every bit of brain juice available, he quickly threw several chunks of crystal to the ground. But his attention was distracted by the noisy sound of a click on his back.

"Hey, Flerdrest... you said that thing hasn't been affiliated with the system, right?"

"Hmmm?"

"I thought you'd like to see this."

*STATUS*

HAZEL DYRAFEL

Sex: Female

Race: Rex Tezerra

Hp: Fuck you/???

Mp: A lot/???

"Oh, that's bad..." He said after looking at the thin glass screen.

'It looks like someone tried to make one, it's ugly and lame.'

While Flerdrest maneuvered through the air like a jet plane, Hazel created an explosive blob in her hands. Her eyes sharply locked on her target which was moving in vague circles around her. Her mind was racing many times faster than usual, damaging many of her brain cells in return. The payoff was commensurate with her significantly improved calculation skills, not too bad at all.

"DEATH!!!"

Her body sizzled as an unusually high heat was released, spreading steam everywhere. Using every bit of energy accumulated in her hands, her muscles contracted explosively. The explosive projectile was thrown extremely hard and accurately, causing a huge boom in the process.

Traveling at the speed of sound, Flerdrest maneuvered to dodge the bullet. But what he didn't know was that the bullet was moving faster than he expected. The light left his face when he realized that the bullet was trying to kiss him.

"Wow..."

A huge explosion in the sky shook the earth with the roar of multiple explosions. A low growl escaped from her mouth, as she watched the dragon completely fall. His body fell deep into the sea of giant trees, completely drowning out their existence. Although her wits had not changed completely, Hazel's mind was still filled with a fog of turbulent emotions. She galloped after the dragon's body, knowing that the girl would be left helpless.

"Flerdrest, wake up! Wake up, Flerdrest... Aaah!!!"

Frustrated with the situation, Nozu could not think clearly. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, where the lush tree canopy blocked out the light. The gripping darkness made her claustrophobic of what was to come. Nozu chanted every spell and cast all her skills, hoping for a miracle. The goddess who sent her to this world had promised her a happy life, she didn't want to lose it.

Nozu Lazuli was an ordinary office worker with an ordinary life of course. She lives alone in the middle of the city, with absolutely no connections with her relatives. Her life could be said to be the lifestyle of the average person at that time. Working from the crack of dawn until the moon took its place, she did it almost every day. For 30 years she was single, alone among her colleagues who were mostly married. Now and then she imagined what it would be like to have a warm and happy family. The thought stuck in her brain, making her feel depressed every time she saw other people with their families.

But now here she was, in a fantasy world where logic was turned upside down by magic. Her first encounter with Flerdrest was a turning point in her lonely life. If at fi, at first, she harbored resentment towards the goddess who had sent her to this world, now she did not. She thanked her for bringing Flerdrest to her.

"Please, Flerdrest... wake up."

Tears streamed down her pale cheeks, her hands trembling as she stroked his scales. She used all the mana she had and sent it to the headless body.

The ground trembled and the sound of an angry roar boomed through the dense trees. Something was pursuing them with a fiery rage, destroying everything in its path. Trees began to fall one by one as the monster ran through them, brushing them aside like grass. The girl began to worry, her body began to tremble in suffocating fear. She felt as if her pants were getting wet for obvious reasons.

Curling up into a ball, the girl tried to hug the dragon's legs as tightly as possible. She peered into the shadows, there stood a monster staring at her with pure hatred. She hissed at her and a low growl shook the leaves of the surrounding trees. The monster was big, so big that the red Elfwood tree looked small next to it.

The girl waited for death to come to her, but it didn't come. It just stood there, doing nothing but staring at them. Nozu gathered her guts and convinced herself to stand up. She had traveled with Flerdrest for hundreds of years. Big, scary monsters were a daily thing she faced along with him, at least not as bad as this one.

"Little girl... stay away from him"

The words came out in a melodious tone that reminded her of her mother. A tomboyish, affectionate female voice. It caught her off guard for a moment, as if it was trying to hypnotize her. She realized she was nodding on her own, and slowly walked back from Flerdrest. Hope left her eyes, and her life shattered at that very moment.

Or was it?

A roaring sound came from the sky, awakening her from her delusion. Nozu looked in the direction the sound came from and rediscovered her hope. Her legs trembled, her body too tense to express that relief. Or, was that the case?

"A-a... what-"

Falling on her butt, Nozu felt something choking her from within. Her body began to convulse, her ragged breathing choking her even more. Her skin began to blister as she realized she was being cooked alive.

"Annoying... destroy." These were the words that leaked out of the monster as she saw the source of the disturbance.

Steam hissed out of its mouth, throwing off extreme amounts of heat. The trees began to burn as the vapor touched them. The crystal pillar returned, more than the previous one. Hazel could imagine how much energy the crystal had stored all this time. She could have easily destroyed them all, but she was in trouble this time. It was close, too close, very close to her position. The chain reaction of the explosion would reach her and cook her to perfection. While she was trying to reduce as much heat from her body as possible. The idea did not sound too good at first thought. The only thing that could be tried was to move the dragon as far away from the pillar as possible.

"Agh... annoying," Hazel grumbled while clenching her jaw. "Where should we take him?"

Ignoring the girl, Hazel shouldered the dragon's corpse and hurried away. But no matter how cruel she was to her opponent, she was not the type to torture. The girl's cries made her change her mind and decide to take her too. It wasn't like she could do anything, not when the mana in her body was raging. The true potential of Catastrophic energy was not easy to realize. While they were extremely valuable energies and expensive to produce. Hazel was not able to use them efficiently.

Most of the opponents they faced during their lifetime always died from energy poisoning. Their bodies were not prepared to withstand the raw, uncontrollable cosmic energy. It would constantly erode every cell in their body, reducing them to a lump of mud. The best bet Hazel could make was to constantly surround her body with it. She hoped a few lucky hits would inject them with a few doses of death. Easy to say, hard to accomplish. To her, handling something that moved fast was torture.

But as they say, good food comes from hard work.

"Where are we going, miss? I hope you don't mind if I change first." Said the voice of the middle-aged male stranger on her shoulder, giving her a slight heart attack.

"What? How..."

Maybe Hazel hadn't worked that hard.

She pulled out several light bombs from under her cloak, pushing herself out of Hazel's grip. Momentarily blinded, Hazel went berserk and destroyed everything around her. The old man used the opportunity to escape to a safer place, the sky.

"You are the most unique person I have ever faced, Hazel."

A giggle came from above, making her feel annoyed and frustrated. Flerdrest was alive, she knew it and she didn't like it. His form changed into a humanoid with a slight touch of a dragon here and there. His clean white robes were like ceramic, reflecting the twilight light nicely.

He floated in the air on his crystal wings, surrounded by many crystal pillars. His gaze was not condescending, rather it was full of respect and caution. He looked at the dying little girl in Hazel's hands, then nodded his head.

"There's still a bit of conscience left in you. That's unexpected but good."

A breath of fire came out of his mouth, which was reciprocated by a gust of red vapor from Hazel. Hazel unceremoniously threw the girl deep into the forest. Flerdrest did not move, he remained calm and kept his poker face. Stretching his fingers, he aimed full control of all the pillars at him. He moved his hands in a tugging gesture as if he was pulling something heavy. Hazel's eyes stared at him piercingly, locking his soul in place. His courage quickly dwindled, as he saw the pattern of Hazel's eyes locking onto his.

Flerdrest spat, he could not just retreat after coming this far. He was a Guardian of Light, a title given to honorable knights. A calling that only deserved to be given to someone, who held the trust of the light itself.

This world appointed him as its protector, he could not relinquish that duty. The people he cared about lived in it, living safely under his protection.

'This is destiny... the destiny of a guardian.'

"[Starlight Reflection: Fractal]!"

The sun screaming at him literally, enveloping him in orange light. All those crystal pillars exploded into waves of mana light that permeated his body. That intense light almost illuminated parts of the world, making some people panic because of it. Billions of light projectiles flew from his body, aiming straight for his target without any orders.

Hazel was blinded again and again until she got tired of it. She didn't even care about the storm of sharp bullets trying to pinch her. She lunged on with all the hatred she could muster, never letting go of her quarry again. One failure wouldn't change everything, two probably would. Roaring like a war siren, Hazel charged through all the obstacles. Traps, rocks, trees, she crushed them all with ease. Nothing could stop her rage this time.

The festival of madness from the sun did not give her a chance to breathe. The rays of molecular destruction drew a moat to inhibit her, she just had to jump over it. Several mini shooting stars were thrown right at her face, but she paid them no mind. Flerdrest dared to use hit-and-run tactics, then he should also dare to accept a hit-and-gone.

Flerdrest burst out laughing, he teased Hazel again with a grin.

"You're very persistent, too persistent even! I don't know how long you can last before you turn to mush..."

Hazel and her burnt brain could not think properly. She knew that it would not be long until her body entered a state of crisis. Seconds passed as her reactor heart was about to enter a critical state. It would only be a chase between her and time.

The sun had already sunk completely into the infinite horizon. Flerdrest lost his triumphant glow, but the blessing of light was still with him. His eyes darted between Hazel and the gloomy dark sky. No matter how many seal traps he threw, the monster would only break them. No matter how many crystal pieces he threw, they would just bounce away.

His cape fluttered against the wind as he darted skillfully through the air. The sea of forest parted quickly as the black figure pursued him relentlessly. He was trapped and the help still needed time to arrive. In his final attempt, Flerdrest could only do one thing.

"Into the abyss of darkness, we go..."

His eyes looked far away at the white moon that had just awakened. His gaze was wistful, appreciating the beauty of nature was a great gift. Looking at the outside guest, Flerdrest swallowed the stickiest saliva he could swallow, unusual for him to be a genius. Making sure Hazel was still following him, he put on his crystal armor for extra protection. Learning from his experience, it was not wise to get too close to her. He couldn't rely on the extra stats from his dragon form, he'd just be a big dumb target.

"The worst thing that can happen... is probably getting peeled like an orange."

Dodging death projectiles from Hazel was much easier for him now. The absence of annoying support completely changed the way he flew. He knew how tough the girl was, being thrown for several kilometers was not enough to kill her. What she was worried about was how long she would be unconscious, he didn't want Nozu to interfere anymore.

After several minutes of flying at the speed of sound, Flerdrest arrived at his final destination. He prepared for the worst, but not for failure.

It was a huge black stone fortress, eroded by time and history. Despite the holes everywhere, it would intimidate those who saw it. In the dark of night, it was hard to make out some of the details of the fortress. But Flerdrest didn't come here to admire it, he came to use it. The fortress had walls that were built square before. But some creatures were brazen enough to erode one side of it. It was now missing one side, leaving it in a letter U shape.

Stretching out both hands, he created two prisms of light in his palms. Using them, Flerdrest carefully awaited the arrival of his target. Not far away from him was a black demon that ran towards him furiously. The red veins on his body were already burning hot in her boiling temper. Some of the trees she passed by caught fire and withered as soon as she touched them. Not forgetting the thunderous growling sound as the creature found it.

"Flerdrest!!!" She shouted in frustration, blood pouring from her gaping mouth. "I'll get you!!!"

"Hehe, perfect..."

He waved her hand in a dazzling gesture. The prism of light in his palm created ancient letters in the air that were released one by one. The letters slowly floated in the air, merging with the others.

"[Lock:1]"

In the blink of an eye, Hazel found herself encased in a pyramid-shaped crystal sarcophagus. It didn't take long for Flerdrest to hear cracking sounds. Before that happened, he attached some light and crystal spikes to the holes already provided. The spikes may have failed to penetrate her, but at least it gave him a few seconds.

"[Lock:2]"

Waving both hands again, Flerdrest took out a coil of a spiked chain. The chain burned in a rainbow flame that quickly enveloped the sarcophagus. Some of them also found their way into the sarcophagus. Soon, the sound of agonized screams echoed inside. Now the chains and the sarcophagus were doing the best they could, to seal Hazel inside.

It was foolish to think that it would be enough to hold her. If it was that easy, Flerdrest should have been able to do it from the start, right?

"It seems like your body can't hold it anymore, Hazel."

That cold, deep voice could still be heard. No matter how thick the sarcophagus was, the sound could still travel through it. Flerdrest did not wait for a reply to come from her, he immediately continued sealing.

"[Lock:3]"

In the final stage, 4 crystal pillars were sent flying above the sarcophagus. They rotated in harmony while showering the realm with light. The atmosphere felt lighter now, Flerdrest felt his heart begin to melt. He descended to the ground, immediately lying down on the stone path. Panting, he gazed at the horizon of stars that was displayed in his eyes. Trillions of glittering stars cheered his success. He was happy for a moment.

No sound came from behind the thick layer of crystal. It would be a while before the same cycle started again. But at least, she could rest for a while. Knowing that reinforcements would fly over her next.

"Aaah... this is a sickening peace. It's not fair that it will only last a moment-"

Just a moment...

A huge explosion burst out, slapping him too hard. The resulting mushroom cloud soared high. Dense red clouds spread everywhere. Red lightning also splashed from the cloud, causing chaos everywhere. Another open area now appeared in the middle of the sea of trees.

The fortress that was previously there, was also reduced to a lump of sand. It did not cause a crater for some reason, a reason that went wrong.

His ears rang, and his head felt like it was being tossed around. Confused as to what had just happened, Flerdrest got up from the ground. It took him a moment to gather his focus, it was a tense moment. He didn't have any injuries, thanks to his armor. Clearing the dust and dirt from his body, he heard footsteps coming.

Hazel stood there, menacingly with clear killing intent. After everything he had thrown at her, she remained unfazed.

"G-great..."

At that very moment he knew, he was fucked up.

Paralyzed by fear, Flerdrest felt something strangling his neck. It was none other than Hazel, who had somehow shrunk. Her appearance remained the same as before, only slightly smaller.

Flerdrest stared deeply into those angry eyes. He felt as if his soul was beginning to be drawn through her eyes, giving him goosebumps. The intense and tense atmosphere did not help the fact that his armor was starting to crack like a nut.

His voice started to get hoarse and unclear, no wonder. Considering someone was trying to destroy his airway right now.

"Uh, you're really something... buddy. Let me tell you... there is not a single creature on this planet. Can survive the first seal, the second is reserved for deities. Your third one may just be a decoration... but it's actually the ultimate weapon. "

Flerdrest began to laugh a little as he remembered that. He began to whimper and tears fell from his cheeks. Here he was, held on the brink of death. Hazel had won against him, now his fate was in her hands. Feeling Hazel's other hand on his head, Flerdrest immediately prayed to God.

'Dear god, please ease the pain...'

"Ah... AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

What she did was a scenario that had been thought of before. Hazel began to peel him like an orange, then ate it piece by piece. Screams of pain could be heard throughout the forest that night. Hazel herself didn't say much about it, she just wanted to enjoy her meal. The sound of the notification bell rang in her head, but she ignored it.

With her long bear-like nails, she easily separated the meat from the bone. At her size, Hazel felt that she was eating a whole turkey. The gurgling sound of blood splashing against her face, every bite was a pleasure. Two sets of teeth easily separated his limbs with ease. The sound of bones crunching, comforted her ears in contentment. There was only one way to describe the flavor of the dragon meat…

Tasty.

"Sweet and savory... this will taste even better with a beer."

Continuing to eat voraciously, Hazel did not notice the figure flying above her. The figure flew around her, like a hawk observing its prey. The figure observed her for a while before it was finally discovered.

"Huh? That is... a big black cock, flying?"
