Darkness.
I awake to find myself unable to see. I try to move my extremities to ensure I'm not missing anything and find that not only are they still there but so is the pain. Gritting my teeth and clenching my eyelids shut I begin to come out of my slight state of amnesia and I remember. I remember growing up on the Empire's homeworld of Terrianna, an Earth-like planet that was settled a little over three-thousand years ago because our great species decided it would be a good idea to start another World War.
This World War, however, managed to not only milk just about every usable resource out of the Planet but destroy it's ecosystem as well. During the War a group of Scientists decided they weren't about to sit back and allow all their work to go to waste so they built a ship, a ship so large it could almost be considered a small moon. This ship, named HSS Inmortalis, was a Seed ship sent to Terrianna in hopes of deployed a fully operational community of Humans that would be able to not only survive the War but learn and thrive from it. This community went on to found what is now known, three-thousand years later, as the Terriannan Empire.
Spanning from each end of our Galactic arm and possessing thousands of planets, both habitable and not, the Empire serves one main purpose which is to research and develop the latest and greatest technology possible. There hasn't been a full blown conflict within the Empire in about a thousand years because of this singular minded goal, that however isn't always the case for the several species of non-humans that we have discovered.
All these memories of the past flash by in an instant and all of a sudden I'm sitting in a very spartan looking medical facility. Glancing at the walls I notice a large emblem centered on the wall to my left. The emblem shows the Milky Way Galaxy with a lightning bolt and sword crossed behind it and holding on to the ends of both, above Milky Way, is a bright orange-red bird with it's wings furled around the rest of the emblem. Known as a Flame Eagle, it's the symbol of the Terriannan Imperial Marines who are an elite group of individuals broken down time and time again to form an almost perfect representation of discipline and brotherhood.
However, as the Human Race is a social species we never truly remove that sense of individuality and as such the organization quickly became one of the most fearless and brutal, if not unique, fighting forces in the Empire. I turn away from the emblem and notice a person in a white lab coat, presumably a Doctor, walking up to me. He began speaking but I can't hear him and things start to blur. Then I'm on a table and they're injecting me with something, a grey-ish blue substance that feels like it's devouring every cell in my body. I lay there, trying to scream and thrash because the pain is just to much but no sound comes out and I'm tied tightly to the table.
The memory begins to blur again and now I'm sitting up in what sppears to be a hospital bed. The white labcoat person walks in and I can finally hear him talking. He tells me that the Fusion was a success and I'll be able to join the rest of my Platoon within the next few days. That's when he smiles and hands me a mirror so I can 'look at my new self' as he says. I look into the mirror and see... Nothing. Suddenly the image in the mirror starts to blur beginning the shift as it takes over the room, then beyond almost as if someone decided to spin the whole world like a top. Then, just as quickly as it began, it stops and I'm suddenly brought back to reality by a sharp tug on the nape of my neck.

- (???) POV -
As I sit in my Garden, watching the little Mortals play on the planet below I fell an odd sensation that I've never felt before. Surprising considering I'm a Goddess and I should have felt every sensation possible in this Universe but no, not this one. This sensation feels...broken? It's the most impossible thing to discribe I've ever known. As I think this though the feeling gets stronger and continues to do so until an odd sight occurs. Someone or something is breaking into MY domain! This is absolutely impossible, however, this feeling I'm getting isn't one of danger but one of helplessness. I walk over to where the feeling is strongest and extend my right index finger with my Divine Powers.
Using my index finger infused with the Divine, I vertically slash through the barrier coating my Domain and hiding it from the outside. What appears next looks like someone put a fist through a piece of paper, tearing open not only the barrier to my Domain but also the Universe!
'This, this is impossible! For someone to actually tear open a rift to another universe, just what are they thinking?!' thinks the Goddess 'Well, I'll just close it up and hope no one comes barging in demanding for answers for something I didn't do.' As the Goddess moves to close the rift from the bottom up, she see's a slight glimmer within the rift. 'Is that a Human?! Well, at least I think it is as he appears to be wearing some from of armor that covers his whole body. Hmmmm... Well I do have that one thing to do, maybe I can use this being to help! HAHA Yes, alright lets bring them in.'
Realizing that I can use this being to complete a critical task that was assigned to me by that annoying Gods Council. I cover my right arm in Primordial Energy and reach inside the rift, causing it to shudder slighty. I watch as the being seems to be attracted towards my hand and I'm able to grab on to the nape of their neck. Once I grab on, the being begins to start wriggling and the universe trembles as I rip the being out of the rift and into my Garden watching as the tear slowly begins to fade and the barrier replaces itself.
Taking a glance at the being I turn on my heels to walk away before my curiousity gets the better of me and with a wave of my hand I remove the beings, no, the Male Humans outfit. Unfortunately I got a little careless and accidently removed ALL of his clothing causing my cheeks to heat up and my eyes to widen as I stare at the best example of human perfection I've ever seen. The Male Human has fair white hair that reaches to just below his shoulder blades, a handsome looking, chisled face and a body that looks like one of my sisters tried to design the perfect human form and was successful. He had almost porcelain white skin and two spots of azure below each eye that tapers as it nears the length of his nose.
Out of curiousity, I make my way over to the man to see if I can get a look at his eyes before he awakes. As I lower my self to my knees and begin to reach toward his face there's a slight shifting just out of my view.
I turn to look at where the shifting is taking place and notice the mans legs are slowly beginning to shift. Out of reflex I turn back to the mans face, only to see a pair of deep ocean blue eyes staring back at me with curiousity written in their depths.
"Uhm, Hello Miss..."
