Penelope passed a sign that said, "Welcome to Witter Springs". Penelope was going to Trinamil University. Trinamil University wasn't an important university but it was a university Penelope wanted to go to. Penelope drove for another ten minutes until ending up to her dorm. She looked around and went to the third dorm building. As she walked she saw other kids either saying goodbye to their parents or just going to their dorm buildings. She was distracted by a girl with purple and pink hair with icy blue eyes. Then Penelope smacked into a pine tree. "Ow!" She said. It didn't bring that much attention but a few people were staring at her. She shyly got up and continued walking to her dorm building. Penelope got there and unlocked her door. There she saw two beds one with covers and pillows one empty. On the side of the room with the made bed there were lacrosse items and team photos. Penelope started to unpack. Then the girl from outside came in.
"Hey aren't the girl that smashed into a tree?" the girl asked. Penelope nodded. "You okay?" she asked again.
"Yeah, I'm fine. So two questions, what's your name, and are any of the drawers filled out?" Penelope questioned.
"Amber and no you can put your clothes in," Amber responded.
"Thanks," Penelope said. Penelope unpacked while Amber sat down and played with a tennis ball. When Penelope finished unpacking she went on and started making her bed.
"So you like lacrosse?" Penelope asked Amber.
"Yeah, it's how I got into the school by a lacrosse scholarship," Amber answered.

A wave of silence hit the room. Amber and Penelope stared at each other for a time. As Amber smacked her lips Penelope left the room to go to the bathroom. When she got back to the room the wave of silence remained.
"So, you want to grab lunch?" Amber asked.
"Yeah, hey I passed through a restaurant called The Morning Diner should we go?" Penelope asked half mumbling.
"Yeah sure. You know I've only been here a few days and only enlisted in the university because my top choices rejected me and I have family in Witter Springs so I don't know much about this town." Amber aforementioned.
"Yeah, yeah okay," Penelope said embarrassed.
They left their dorm and went to Penelope's car. Since it didn't seem like Amber had a car. They went to the diner. The Morning Diner was this typical United States diner. It was pretty small with only a counter and some tables. The girls sat down near a window. Penelope ordered a burger with extra onions while Amber ordered pancakes in the middle of the day. Penelope was confused as she had never seen anybody eat pancakes at lunchtime except for a sitcom character.
"You ordered pancakes?" Penelope asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, you've never seen anybody eaten pancakes during lunch or dinner?" Amber questioned.
"No, it seems ridiculous to me," Penelope answered.
"Ridiculous, you are the one eating a burger with a hell amount of onions," Amber responded jokingly. Penelope smiled back.
"Yeah, that's fair. I've learned to tolerate onions because my sister hated the smell of breath." Penelope said jokingly. Amber let out a small chuckle.
"Hated? Did your sister learn to tolerate or-"Amber stopped talking after she saw Penelope's smile gone.
"Oh sorry, my brother's dead too," Amber said.
"It's fine," Penelope said with her smile returning. Penelope took a huge bite out of her burger which left mustard and ketchup on her face. Amber and Penelope's attention then went to the window as a man started playing a beautiful melody on his guitar.
