Levi pick up a small kobold with it screaming like a beast and a newborn baby at the same time. He throws it towards Jake that is busy dealing with three other kobolds. "Catch!"

Jake wants to back off, but his body moves on its own and cuts the small kobold in half from head to bottom. "What was that about?!" One of the kobolds close to him goes for a claw attack from above, but he blocks it with his sword, and goes to his knees.

"Making sure your paying attention! Last time you almost died from blood loss!" He picks up another kobold and smashes it into another kobold, both look like a raw burger now. "I'm finished, how about you?"

"Give me a moment!" Jake takes a hold of the kobolds neck and it tries to get rid of the hand, but Jake cuts the claw hand off that is pushing him down, then stabs it in the mouth. The other kobolds jump and plan to do the same thing as the other kobold, but Jake takes out his sword from its mouth, then slashes them both in the air horizontally making it rain monster guts. He stabs the sword to the ground and stretches his arms up. "Done."

'The kid is a prodigy, in just a mouth he can handle his enemies without getting serious injuries. After this dungeon thing I should give him a chance in pro boxing.' Levi looks behind. 'Too bad the same can't be told for everyone. This fat pig that was put in this party by that girl is useless, he can't fight or defend at all, forget that he can't even talk. I can't tell if he's doing this on purpose. The only thing he's good enough for is to carry our stuff in a bag because the crystals we have can only carry ten kilograms. Guess he can also pick up items.' He scratches his head. 'What was that girl thinking this pig is useless.' Levi gets close to the kid. "Go pick up the items." He points at the kobolds on the ground. "Now!"

The kid jumps a little and sprints at the corpses.

Jake puts his hand on Levis shoulder. "Stop, he started today."

"What are you his mother or something?"

"No, but look his only fourteen years old. You can't have him be ok with this right away."

"How can he be fourteen, but such a pig."

"Don't call him that, his name is Karl, right now his acting a lot better then you."

Levi sees Karl picking putting all the items in to the bag. "You call that better." He pushes Jakes arm to the side. "Let's go to the next area."

"Hey you alright Karl?"

Karl looks at him and does a slight nod.

"Good, let's get going."

In the next room there are even more kobolds, around forty of them. The space is tight with no way around kobolds.

Levi screams, then rushes at the kobolds. they all start flying in to the walls.

"Huh! Hold on!" Jake runs after him stabbing the ones that were lying on the floor dazed.

'Compared to humans these monsters are nothing in strength.' Levi picks up a kobold in one hand and starts swinging it in a circle until the third circle round when the kobold snaps in half. Levi puts both his hands on two kobolds, then runs both of them into the wall with three more that were close to the wall, the blood reached the ceiling of the dungeon. He looks at the entrance where he came from, and sees Karl having his eyes covered. 'That stupid ass fucking pig! Does he have a fucking death wish!' He picks up a kobold, then throws it at Jake.

Jake cuts the flying kobolds head off. "Again! I'm paying attention!"

"Take over for me!"

"Where are you going?!" Jake slashes his sword horizontally with the kobolds head pushed to the wall. He takes the sword out from the kobolds head, and does a one eighty slash cutting the heads of six kobolds.

Levi grabs Karls arm. "What the hell are you doing dumbass! How are you supposed to see an enemy coming if you have your eyes closed!" He shakes Karl. "Do you hear me!"

Karls entire body shakes, with tears almost coming out of his eyes.

He lets go of him and Karl falls to the ground. "You're pathetic." He runs back into battle.

Jake stabs the sword through the kobolds mouth. One of the kobolds behind him cuts the back of Jakes back, and he falls on his knees with the tip of the sword pointing to the ground.

"You ok!"

Jake out of breath. "It's time for us... to switch... now!"

"Good job! Leave it to me!" He puts his right fist behind, charging for an attack, and goes all out with that punch. The kobold gets hit right in the nose, and its body flies to the end of the room, four got caught by the shockwave, and got crushed against the wall. The three that are still alive jump at Levi, but he grabs the attacker on his left and right, then crushes them both together with the third kobold. He looks at Jake. "You alright?"

"Yeah, better then ever." He wipes away his sweat on the face.

Levi wipes away his blood on the ground. He shows Jake his hand. "Come on, get up we still have work to do."

"Yeah, let's go." He takes his hand and gets up. "Where's Karl?"

"Where we came from."

"Is he alright? Should we take a break?"

"No. Let's go and deal with the big kobold."

Jake sighs. "Alright."

"Kid, you better deal with all the loot when we get back!"

In the end they make it to a small room with a big kobold inside. The kobold can't seem to be able to move well because of the ceiling.

"Legs?" Jake asks.

"Legs." Levi punches the kobolds leg and it explodes, and it falls down. He gets close to the head and punches the eye. The beast dies without any problems. "That was easy."

"That should be the end of the mission let's go back."

All three get outside to the mountain side cliff.

A man in a suit comes up to Levi. "Can you tell me your name and the items you got."

"Fuck off!"

Redhead comes next to them and tells the man that she will deal with this.

"Good job you guys did it again." She gives them all a card with an address.

"What is this?" Levi asks.

"A party, you guys have done so well that I thought you might need some rest, and summer is almost over, so it would be best to go out with a bang."

Jake claps his hands together. "Sounds good to me. How about you guys?"

"A party, sign me up!" Levi sees Karl leaving. He puts his hand on Karls shoulder. "Oh no you don't, you are coming too!" Levi thinks. 'Why is he shaking like this, aren't we all friends here. The nerve on him, if I acted like this towards my father he would have beat me up. Kids these days don't have any respect. Why is he holding his hand so tight?' Levi takes grabs his right arm. "What are you hiding?" He breaths in. "Open it!"

Karl not seeing any way out of the situation opens his shaky hand. In his arm is a small purple crystal.

"Are you crazy!? What if this stone was cursed! Stop acting so stupid all the time yo—"

Jake punches Levis face. "That's enough! Let him go."

"What was that for?"

"Let him go!"

"Hmph!" He takes the crystal, and lets him go.

"A purple crystal, didn't think you guys would be so lucky early on. Nicely done everyone. Now you guys can now get stronger then you already are."

"Really, but how did we get it?" Jake asks.

"Monsters have a small chance of dropping this. One of them must have dropped it."

"Well, we should give it to Karl then."

"What!? Why?" Levi asks.

"He did find it first."

"His just a bag carrier, he doesn't need it."

"...Karl, you ok with this."

Levis eyes pierces Karl when he looks at him. Karl nods to Jake.

"Alright, who should take it?"

"You can have it, I have enough muscle to beat everyone, but you are skinny as a stick."

"I'm not that skinny."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, use the stone already."

"How do I use it?"

"Sit down like in yoga, I think people call it lotus pose or something like that."

Jake sits like she told him. "This ok."

"Yeah. Now put your palms together with the crystal in the middle."

"Like this?"

"Yeah. Now close your eyes and imagine your goal."

"Goal?"

"Your goal in life. What is it you want the most then anything?"

Jake smiles. "To be hero of course!" As soon as he says that darkness covers his entire body. When the darkness goes away he opens his eyes. He looks at his hands and sees that the crystal is gone. "I don't feel stronger."

"It takes more then one stone to see the difference." Redhead looks at all of them. "See you guys in a few days. I'll call when it happens."

Everyone says their goodbyes, except Karl.
