[Jake]
In a pitch black room is a black hole that's absorbing the light from the flashlight.
'It's been a month now, but this time I'm ready. I've got both chain mail and bandages.' Jake raises his right arm in the air, and closes his eyes with a smile on his face. 'You may try dungeon, but you can't get me this time because I am—'
"Don't tell me your doing another one of those hero speeches." Redhead crosses her arms with a smile.
His face turned into a tomato. "Stop doing that!"
"What do you mean?"
"Stop sneaking behind me!"
"It's not my fault you're not paying attention."
He sighs. "Yeah I guess that's true. Where did you go anyway?"
"I had phone call, you don't have to worry about it. Oh right, you're going to have a partner on this mission."
"Really, who?"
"Me." Levi appears from the next room. "What's up with this place? Where are your partners girl?"
"They're busy, with work."
"Really, so this isn't work."
She sits down on the wooden chair. "Do you have a problem?"
"Yes, yes I do. Why is there no lighting in this room."
"I called you guys as soon as I found this dungeon."
"You called us, but not your superiors?"
"Leave her alone!" Jake puts his hand on Levis shoulder.
"Well look at that, a hero."
'This guy's pissing me off.'
Levi laughs. "Alright, alright. What's our mission."
"You guys have to get a red flower from the dungeon."
Levi gets a stomach aches from the laughter that came out from him. "You... you want us to get you a flower. We could have bought a flower from the store."
Redhead points at the black hole "Just get in the dungeon already."
"Right!" Jake runs strait to the black hole.
"That's the kid?"
"Yeah, think you guys can work together?"
"We'll see."
The dungeon is a wide open area, in the ceiling there's a big blue crystal that is lighting the whole area. At the other side of the dungeon there are twenty goblins in a camp, some are siting around the campfire and most are dancing around the fire.
"You took your sweet time old man." Jake says.
Levi squints his eyes. "I'm not that old." He points at Jake. "Enough about me, why do you act like that, aren't you twenty two years old."
Jakes eyes widen. "Wait what, I act just like I'm suppose to act?"
"Your supposed to act like a kid?"
"No, I'm supposed to act like a hero!"
"Huh?"
Jake puts his hand on his face. "Urh, hate people like you."
Levi crosses his arms. "And, why's that?"
"You people always see a person as a perfect being, but if the person does something that isn't the norm you cast them out like a piece of trash."
"Well yeah, if we don't do that most people would become creeps."
"Still, you have to give people a chance."
"...I guess your not wrong, but give me some time I will think of something."
Both sit down on the cliff side overlooking the goblin camp.
"You know kid, I'm sorry."

"For what?"
"I said you act like a kid, but now that I think about it." He pauses with worry in the face. "I was the one coming after you first, I don't know what I was thinking. I never really payed much attention to how you young people might take take shit we say to you." He takes out a picture of a woman and a baby. "I always put my worldviews on this kid over here, but I never thought about his worldview. Always ignoring him, thinking his just a stupid kid that doesn't know shit about the world." He covers his face with both his hands while his head is downwards "God I'm an idiot. How have I now realized this?"
"I'm sorry too, I never really liked people talking bad about someone, but I know most of the time you guys just want good. I'm sure that if you talk to him about this he will understand."
"Well that's the thing kid, both my sister and her kid is missing."
"What!? What happened?"
Levis gaze turns to the goblin camp. "If you kill five goblins I'll tell you."
Jake smiles and puts his fist out. "That's the deal then."
"Deal. What's the plan kid?"
"Go to the camp and kill all of them." He looks at the camp. 'He didn't fist me back.'
He squints his eyes. "What are you a caveman or something? Going after so many people at once is suicide."
"But they're goblins."
"What's the difference?"
"Well I'm not so sure, but I think she said that beast like monsters rely on their instincts and humanoid monsters can think like humans, but are slower. Only exception is mutated monsters, they can be unpredictable."
"Are goblins humanoid?"
"I think so."
He points at his head. "Even if they have slow mind doesn't mean they don't know how to use it."
Jake claps his hands. "What are you suggesting then?"
"I'll be the bait, while you sneak into camp."
His eyes widen as if his seen a ghost. "Didn't you say that it's dangerous to do that!"
"I've been in many street fights when I was younger." He points his fist to his heart. "I can take care of myself."
"..." Jake sighs, but deep down agrees with him on the plan. "Here." He hands Levi leather gauntlets.
"What are these for?"
"Apparently only magic weapons work on monsters and these are made of magic."
Levi nods. "Alright kid, let's do this."
On closer inspection there is one entrance with two goblins guarding it. All of the goblins don't seem to be wearing any armour, only cloth to hide their bottom. The guards seem to have stone spears, while others have stone knifes.
'The trees here are really good for hiding.'
"HEY FUCKERS!" Levi screams his all out towards the enemy. "Catch me if you can!" He runs away into the forest.
The guards look at each other, then scream and call three extra goblins for them all to go after him. One goblin seems to peek out of the camp, but that was a bad idea because Jake stabs it deep in the neck, its lifeless body falls to the ground. He takes the dead body and drags it in to a bush. Inside the camp close to the entrance Two goblins seem to be sleeping. Jake points his sword downward and stabs the goblin. The other goblin wakes up and runs towards the other goblins, but Jake catches up to it by jumping on it, the other goblins did not see them because of the stone wall, his covering its mouth and stabbing the sword from right to left through the neck.
'That was way to close.' Then he feels a weird taste in his mouth. 'Some of the blood went into my mouth, eww, it tastes like rotten eggs. I need to close my mouth whenever I make these kills.'
Jake drags both the bodies to the place they were sleeping at and covers it with cloth that was right next to them.
'Two more to go.'
Jake crawls right next to the wall to his left until he makes it to the end where the flower is. Seems that the flower's not guarded. He digs around the flower, then pulls it out.
'Alright, the first mission's complete! Now, how will I get the last two. All the rest of the goblins are around the campfire.' He sighs. 'I'll go back the way I came and think of a way.'
The sound of a horn can be heard. All the goblins go towards the entrance and look at the bloody cloth. All the goblins scream to the point that the ears start to hurt. Now with determination they all look around to find the one who did this.
'I should be safe here, no way they will look here.'
"Grrrrr" The sound of a goblin can be heard from behind.
Jake turns around and sees a a goblin looking strait at him. His gaze turns dead. 'That didn't last for long.'
The goblin goes for a slash, but Jake roll away from it. He gets up and runs at the goblin. Goblin dodges the attack and cuts his wrist.
"Argh!" He screamed in pain. He took his sword to his left arm because of the pain and slashed at a wide angle. Goblin ducked and stabbed him in the chest, but it didn't go in.
'That was close, good thing I got the chain mail.'
From the entrance all the goblins go flying.
'What was that?'
Levi with a smile and with body full of blood. "I hope you guys can give me more of a show compared to your friends!" He picks up the goblin next to him from the legs and starts using it as a weapon. He swings the goblin around making all the goblins that go after him fly far in the air and exploding their heads with a left hook when they get up, the goblin in his hands starts becoming more like a red sausage.
The goblin kicks Jake in the stomach and he falls down. The goblin wants to go for a deadly attack, but Levi picks it up, and with both hands on its head he crushes its head with blood and brains flying everywhere.
"You alright kid?" Levi gives him his bloody hand.
"Yeah." Jake gets up without his help.
"Did you get the flower?"
"Yeah, I did."
"Good, let's get out of here then."
When they get out the black hole disappears.
"Good job you two." Redhead says.
"Hey girl." Levi scratches the back of his head.
"What is it?"
"Sorry about before. I know you just wanted to do good."
She smiles. "You did a full one eighty in just an hour."
"..."
"Well you weren't wrong, I did kind of not think about that." She puts her hand up. "I will do better next time for you guys."
Levi smirks. "Whatever you say."
They both shake hands.
Jake takes out the flower. "Here, it's a bit messy, but I think it should be ok."
"Yeah, it's fine. I'll contact you guys when I need help, but this time I will call people from work." She puts her thumb up. "I'll promise you that."
"Bye." Jake says.
"Hey, wait kid."
Jake gets confused. "What is it?"
"Let's go get a drink."
"I have work tomorrow."
Levi puts his arm around Jake. "Come on, one drink."
Jake sighs. "Alright."
"Alright, alright, let's go!"
Inside the bar both get a big glass of foamy beer.
"Kid you going to drink or what, you don't have to worry I'll pay."
Jake takes a small pause. "Could you just call me Jake instead."
"Alright, but you need to call me master."
His face cringes. "Now why would I do that?"
"Because I will teach you how to fight."
"I... don't know."
Levi smiles. "Trust me."
"The last time I trusted someone I almost gave my grandma a heart attack with all the blood on my clothes."
"Listen, you can handle yourself, but that will only take you so far." He drinks the bear. "If your planning to become a hero then you need to be stronger then everyone else."
"I already am a hero though."
"That's even more of a reason to do it."
"Yeah I don—" Jakes puts his hands together. 'Wait, isn't a training arc what a hero does in his journey.' He smashes his hand on table scaring the other people close to him. "I accept!"
"That's the spirit!" He sees Jakes right arm bleeding. "You should probably take care of your right arm."
