Holy shit.

To say that writing 'Act Two - A Stained Glass Tightrope' has been an absolutely wild ride is an understatement. This act ended up at DOUBLE the length of 'Drenched in Shade', which totally blows me away whenever I realize it. When I started writing [f]Alter, I never thought I would even reach the length of 'Drenched in Shade', let alone a body of work that is now three times its size.

If you've reached this point, I want to once again thank you with all my heart for following along this passion project of mine. 'A Stained Glass Tightrope' was incredibly fun to write, not just because of its decidedly different tone, but also because of how greatly it expands on the world, lore, characters, and story that 'Drenched in Shade' laid down such a solid foundation for. Getting to play around with so many themes, motifs, and the ever-growing web of character interactions has been nothing short of a joy to work on for the past eight months, and I promise it's only going to get more engaging and complex from here.

Since my college graduation is rapidly approaching, I can't definitively state how soon you'll receive your first taste of the next act in the story. What I can promise is this - No details in this story are meaningless, nothing will be forgotten, and there is no such thing as a coincidence.
