-2- The Runaway God-child

-2- The Runaway God-child

"Kren why does it smell like smoke in here?"

I turn to the doorway, perceiving my father. He's a 1.7 meter tall man, black long hair, both of his eyes are a deep green. His face is slightly scarred near his left ear.

"I-I heard screaming are you okay?" He cautiously asks

"Yeah I'm fine, but mom left to do something." I try deceiving him, though this has many holes but my father is not the most intelligent person.

"Really? I didn't see her." My 'father' says while slightly tilting his head and a small '?' appears over his head as he says this.

"...she... went out the back." I reply, searching for a believable answer.

"Why?"

"I don't know. Maybe she's hiding something from you?" I start to use psychological tactics to distract him from her absence.

"Maybe..." I see realisation in my father's eyes as he comes to some sort of conclusion.

My victory in this small battle is won. I walk out the door saying I'm going to do an errand.

I don't have a place in this village anymore, my mind refuses to deal with anymore nuisances. I reach the forest

avoiding as many people as I can on my way there. The oak trees as well as the breeze gives me a peaceful feeling as I leave my hometown.

----------------------------------------

I look at the map I "Borrowed" from the local library, and searched it for the capital of this nation.

I currently lived on the nation of Orandun, a mid-sized Empire to the south-east of the Allerin continent.

The capital of the Empire is the town of 'Mul'.

My journey would usually take two weeks, but with movement and different summoning magic it would only take less than a day.

"{Summon Tier-4 Mount minion 'Twin Wolf'}"

A small magic circle appeared filled with multiple runes. A large two-headed, wolf appeared out of it. It had a sleek black coat. A line of fur on its back was colored gold. Also on its back was a saddle. The seat part of the saddle was a light gray leather, under the seat was a metallic base that had intricate norse-like carvings.

It's eyes were gold and its mouth hung open slightly. Inside of it's mouth you could see a slight blue flame emerging. I quickly mounted the beast and motioned for it to go North-East and casted a movement spell on it.

"{Greater Speed Boost}"

A dim, light-green light outlined the wolf and it's movement speed exponentially increased. Within this time I would make it there within a day.

----------------------------------------

After about eight hours of leisurely sitting  on the mount, I perceived a moderate amount of human souls. I slowed down and got off of my mount, and dismissed him(it?) and climbed up on one of the trees. The sky was just about to turn to night. I looked in the area of the souls and saw smoke from a campfire. I hopped along the tree line until seeing a clearing holding a small camp with around eight wealthy-looking people sitting around a campfire. The ones near the campfire wore expensive noble outfits and multiple guards surrounded the area. A passive skill activated called {Analyze}. This skill allowed the user to see a person's stats, similar to a {Status Card}. All of the people wearing expensive clothes were from the house of Aselund, a mid-class house who was supposed to be in charge of my hometown, if one could even call it that, as well as different western areas.

Their stats weren't even 3% of mine. The guards had higher strength and vitality stats but it still wasn't even close to mine. I sensed arrogance to start to grow within me at certain times, but I knew almost all of the nobles were completely arrogant. I decided to play the innocent role simply for entertainment.

I summoned a small knife and made stab wounds throughout my body, of course it could never kill me. after coming to a 'brink of life' look I jumped down and slowly emerged through the forest.

"My lord!" A guard yelled and jumped in between me and the campsite.

"What?...a boy?" The eldest man with gray hair inquisitively asked.

"What should we do father?" A younger boy, that looked like the son, said.

"Leave him, there isn't a upside to helping him."

"But f-father!" The boy rebelled, which was met with a quick slap from his father.

"You need to toughen up boy! What could we possibly earn from helping a lowly commoner!?"

The boy silently stood there looking at the ground with defeat in his eyes.

(Well at least his son isn't corrupted yet.) I think to myself, and the option of showing my extreme power was definitely the most interesting option.

I used a healing spell simply to get rid of the pain.

"{True Restoration}."

A green-gold light surrounds my body and the wounds instantly seal, along with all of the blood spilling out.

"Wh-Wh-What the..!" The Guard's caution levels instantly rose again, and the attention of the area falls on Me again.

The air around me thickens and I cast a large-area shadow spell.

"{Void's Grasp}!" The ground around the guards suddenly turns black and they slowly sink into the now darkened ground.

"Aaaahhh-......" The guard's screams suddenly cut off when his face goes under.

"P-Please spare us!!" The father says while tears start to emerge from his face.

"Not you, but your son. You don't deserve the right to live... {Blaze Lance}."

A large spear made of flames appeared above me in the air. It's orientation was already towards the father, it flew forward impaling  him to the ground and soon roasting him alive, his already dead body starting to burn.

"W-Why did you.... why did you kill him?!"

What seemed to be the daughter asked with tear filled eyes. Apparently even an arrogant tyrant can be loved.

"I already answered this question."

"?"

"He dosen't deserve to live. My life is at the same value if not more than his, yet he was going to leave me to die."

"What are you going to do with us !?" The son says, still loving an abusive father.

"I'll let you live, no point in killing a good person." I say shrugging then walking off into the forest.
