The tranquility of Jeju Island was abruptly shattered by a series of tremors. Deep beneath the island's lush forests and tranquil beaches, a hive of monstrous ants began to stir. These were no ordinary insects, they were colossal, mutated creatures, bred in the darkest recesses of the dungeon that lay beneath the island.
Above ground, the Hunter's Association headquarters buzzed with activity as reports of the emerging threat poured in. Chairman Go Gun-Hee stood at the center of the chaos, his face grim. The situation was dire, and he knew they needed their best hunters to respond swiftly.
Yoon, who had been standing by the chairman's side, nodded and hurried to make the call. Within minutes, Kade was on the line, his voice calm and composed.
"Kade, this is Chairman Go. We have a serious situation on Jeju Island. The ants have started to wake up, and we need your assistance to contain the threat. Can you help?"
There was a brief pause before Kade responded. "Of course, Chairman. I'll assemble my team and head there right away."
At the Hunter's Association headquarters, Chairman Go stood at the helm of a rapidly assembling council. His face was set in grim determination. Before him, the S-Rank hunters of Korea were gathering, each one a living legend in their own right.
Kade was among the first to arrive, his demeanor calm and confident. Following him were the heads of other prominent guilds and independent S-Rank hunters, their faces a mix of concern and resolve.
Cha Hae-In, the S-Rank swordswoman renowned for her speed and precision, stepped into the room, her expression serious. Next to her was Baek Yoon-Ho, whose beast-like transformation abilities made him a fearsome opponent in any battle. Choi Jong-In, the mage known for his destructive fire magic, joined the group, his eyes reflecting the intensity of the flames he commanded.
Finally, Sung Jinwoo, Korea's newly recognized S-Rank hunter, entered the room. His recent feats had earned him respect and recognition, and his presence brought a sense of confidence to the gathering.
Kade couldn't help but stare at Jinwoo, he was not the one to talk, but he didn't think anyone could change this much within a month
Jinwoo turned to face Kade, as if sensing his gaze. Their eyes met, and for a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath. Kade could see it now—the quiet confidence, the sharpened focus, the aura of power that surrounded Jinwoo. He was stronger, much stronger than he had been during the double gate incident.
Chairman Go's voice cut through the room. "We need a coordinated approach to handle the ants. Kade, Jinwoo, you two will lead the main assault on the queen. The rest will support and handle the swarm."

Kade nodded, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Understood, Chairman."
As the council broke into smaller groups to finalize their plans, Kade approached Jinwoo with his usual smile. "You've changed a lot since the double gate incident. I'd like to see just how strong you've become."
Jinwoo raised an eyebrow, not a fan of entertaining this idea. "Is that a challenge?"
Before Kade could respond, Cha Hae-In suddenly staggered, her face paling. She covered her mouth, her eyes wide with horror. "That smell… it's unbearable," she gasped, her body trembling.
Baek Yoon-Ho rushed to her side, supporting her as she nearly collapsed. "Hae-In, what's wrong?"
She pointed weakly at Kade, her voice barely a whisper. "Him… there's something wrong with him. The smell is… monstrous."
The room fell silent as everyone turned to Kade. His expression shifted from curiosity to a cold guarded look. "What are you talking about?" he asked, his voice low and dangerous.
Cha Hae-In shivered, trying to steady her breath. "You… smell so rotten. It's like you're not human."
Jinwoo's eyes narrowed as he stepped closer, his focus sharpening. "Is there something you're not telling us, Kade?"
Kade's smile retracted as he stared at Jinwoo "she said I smell so rotten but…You smell like death Jinwoo, so do tell me, who's not telling something to us?"
The two stared at each other as Jinwoo was surprised he could smell his power, he wanted to know more but Chairman Go intervened, his authoritative tone cutting through the mounting tension. "Enough. We have a mission to focus on. Personal matters can wait. Kade, Jinwoo, you need to work together. This is not the time for discord."
Kade paused, his gaze lingering on Jinwoo for a moment longer before turning away and his smile coming back to his face. "Understood, Chairman."
Jinwoo gave a brief nod, but his eyes remained on Kade, suspicion lingering in their depths. "Let's get this done."
The S-Rank hunters regrouped, their resolve solidifying despite the earlier tension. The mission was too important to be derailed by personal conflicts. As they prepared to depart for Jeju Island, Cha Hae-In kept her distance from Kade, her face still pale and her eyes wary.
As they boarded the transport, Jinwoo found a moment to speak with Cha Hae-In. "Are you going to be okay?"
She nodded, though her expression remained troubled. "I'll manage. Just… keep an eye on him, Jinwoo. There's something not right."
Jinwoo glanced at Kade, who was standing apart from the group while looking at them creepily. "I will. Let's focus on the mission. We'll deal with everything else later."
Upon arrival at Jeju Island, the scale of the infestation became painfully clear. The ants were everywhere, their monstrous forms casting long shadows in the dim light. The ground trembled under their relentless march and the air was thick with the sound of their mandibles clashing.
Seeing this Kade couln't help but smile, the amount of being he can consume here is making him excited, not to mention the feeling he's getting from inside the cace.
There is something there that gives an aura of sometthinf beyond S-Rank, an aura that smelt so delicious to Kade.
As everyone was getting ready when suddenly, a bunch of helicopters appeared on the sky, and people started jumping out of the helicopter.
One by one they landed, with their newly black and white uniform containing the logo of SCA on their back.
It didn't take long before everyone landed, they all gathered in front of Kade and bowed.
"Awaiting your orders, sir!"
