Slowly opening my eyes, I found myself inside the cave, in the white water, fearing to flow I used all the strength I could muster to swim out of the water. Being safe for now I got out of the water and was now on a ground made out of rocks.

“So where am I now ? I'm not even wet with this much water.....”

Observing my surroundings, all I could see was the cave and a single door, obviously I walked to the door and saw something engraved on it, “You, who seek the path of mysteries, shall enter”.

“Why mysteries, there was something like that before....”

Seeing no other way to exit I opened the door and continued to walk down this path but after around one hour there was different kind of writings engraved everywhere on the walls, of course I couldn't understand a single one of them.

“What's that ?”

The writings began to glow with red and light purple colours but without taking too much time to see what is happening I continued to walk.

'Another door....'

There was again a door in front of me with the writings, “You, who seek the path of pain and blood, shall enter”. When I opened the door without taking the text as something worth worrying about I was overwhelmed by strong pressure and was forced to the ground.

'Shit ! I can't stand up.... '

Blood began to pour out from my mouth and nose, I felt unbelievable pain just to move my hands, trying my hardest to stand up I succeeded while blood continued to flow out from my body.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah !!! I will not die in that fucking cave !!!”

I continued to slowly walk to exit this place but after one hour I found another door with the writings, “You, who seek the path to your soul, shall enter”.

“What's going on ? I seriously don't understand anything...”

Without any choices other than walking, I continued, this time pain disappeared but after about ten minutes I began to feel dizzy then after closing my eyes and opened them again, all I saw was the void, there was nothing except a colour darker than black.

I was floating and the only thing I knew was that I couldn't move.

'Where is this place ? Huh ? Wha- ?'

Before I could finish my sentence I was sent in another place.... I remembered where this was... I knew it, it was the place where my brother died...

Before me the scene moved, I could see my brother walking with me, I was around three years old and my brother was ten....

'I don't want to see it.... please stop it !'

I understood that it was part of my memories, before me I saw for the second time my brother protecting from a wild dog, however, he sacrificed his life to save me...

While I was fleeing for my life the dog killed my brother and destroyed his body beyond recognition.... I remember now, I lost my sanity the day my brother died....

“What do you want to show me ? Nameless being...”

I remembered what happened, why did I kept distance with everyone, why did I hate animals, it's because I feared all of them, I feared to lose someone important to me... For the first time in many years, tears of sadness rolled down my cheeks.

“If I die here and now then, the sacrifice of my brother will be wasted.”

I made my resolve and decided for the second time to survive through everything that I'll encounter, but this time I made four laws to live and to not do something without goal.

The first one, never give up to get stronger.

The second one, kill and destroy everything in my way to power.

The third one, be ruthless, have no shame and use everything I can to kill.

The fourth one, I will never again lose someone and I'll protect those I love with my everything.

I once again closed my eyes and found myself back in the cave, walking toward the exit I saw another door before me and same as before, something was written on it, “You, who seek the path to true power, shall enter”.

Thinking there must be someone playing with me I continued to walk but felt nothing this time until I saw a double door at least three meters tall with this sentence engraved on it “You, who seek me, shall enter”.

“I don't have any other choices do I ?.... even if I die, it's better than wasting my life like I did before.”

As I pushed open the door I was welcomed by a cave completely covered by pitch white crystals and in the middle of it was a monster beyond imagination, something which is feared by everyone, a being which hold the power of gods, it was a dragon, or more precisely, a dragon's den.

I was welcomed by nine sleeping dragons, all of different colours and shape, one was blue, the other green, red, dark brown, purple, the strongest four seemed to be the golden, the black, the white and the crimson ones.

In the middle of these dragons was a stone floating in the air and surrounded by magic circles, well I guess...

I walked toward the stone and touched it, then I felt a huge pressure unbearable for me and I fell on my knees.

“Pay the price.” I heard a voice saying that.

“Who are you ?!”

“It's true, pay the price.”

“Yeah, pay the price.”

“You don't have other choices than pay the price.”

“The price, finally.”

“Eons of life, the price, I want it.”

“You have to pay the price.”

“My entire life, waiting for the price.”

I heard all of these eight voices and when I turned back toward them, I saw the dragons with eyes open, they were intensely staring at me. The ninth voice emanated from the crimson dragon as the pressure increased with each words.

“Tell me human, what is it that you seek ?” Each word held so much power that I couldn't react.

“Answer human.”

“That's true, answer and pay the price.”

“What do you want, mortal ?”

““What do you want ? What do you want ? What do you want ? What do you want ?””

Hearing all these dragons asking me what I want, I was unable to hold back and I answered them while observing what was written above them, < *** >

'They must be stronger than the system since I don't even know their health, I have to seize my chance now and answer !'

“I... want power.”

“What kind of power, human ?” The crimson dragon answered.

“Yes that's true, what kind of power ?”

“Power to destroy what you want ?”

“Power to kill ?”

“Power to make others bow to you ?”

“Power to make universal laws ?”

“Or power to break them ?”

“Power to create life ?”

“Or power to slay a god ?”

“” Maybe the power to shook heaven and earth ?””

“So human what kind of power do you seek ?”

Once again I was overwhelmed by them, each sentence, each word, each sound coming out of these dragons were like pure power with no ill will but completely destroying my resistances....

Answering with the power I could use, “I want the power to survive in this damned world, the power to not give up no matter what, the power to protect what I love, the power to never need protection from others.... I WANT THE POWER TO NEVER HAVE TO FEAR ANYTHING !!!”

“Ooooh.... I can give this power to you humans, however....” While the crimson dragon said that, he approached his head towards mine, then he continued his sentence.

“You will have to pay the price.”

While smiling and showing me his huge teeth, as tall as my arms....

“What is the price ?” I asked.

“Save one of us from this cave, bind your soul to ne of us, the one of your choice and by giving us a new freedom I will give you the power that you seek. So human do you agree ?”

'He is surely telling the truth, so they can't escape from this cave ? If I bind my soul to one of them like he said, I will gain power, but if I bind my soul to all of them will I gain more power ?'

“I agree but I want to add something to our contract, I want to bind my soul to all of you.”

After saying that all the dragons glared at me with killing intent, I could feel it, they wanted me dead after I said that... Then after one or two minutes the huge crimson dragon talked.

“No, I never heard of soul binding before so I just wanted to save you all if it was in my power.”

The dragon began to laugh, then following his laughter all the others laughed and stopped their killing intent.

“I will explain to you what is a soul binding, human.”

I nodded and waited for him to explain.

“A soul binding is something you can do only one time per race, this binding is a contract made between two beings, for you it's between a dragon and a human, we share our souls, I offer you power and you offer me a part of your souls for me to reside in your body. You can offer only one part because if you offer more you will die. In fact there is a possibility to make a binding with two beings, when your body has the blood of two different races but this binding is extremely painful.”

'Wait, my body suffered from all kind of experiments so maybe I am able to make a binding with all of them....'

I decided to ask since it's possible.

“Can you see how many bindings a person can do ? Since I am not only human I can surely make at least two bindings.”

“Hmm ? Sure I can, human... but it will be painful, are you willing to let me put some of my mana into your blood to identify the number of bindings you can do ?”

I nodded and waited for him to do as he said, a white thread began to swirl around my body then enter my body by piercing my heart.... for three minutes I felt extreme pain all over my body, it was like my bones melted as well as my skin. I collapsed on the ground and when I opened my eyes I was welcomed by all the dragons surrounding me.

“You are not human, what are you ?” The huge crimson asked me like always.

But without knowing the answer I only said.

“The name of my race is experimental human, but I don't know anything about it except that I have the devil's right eye, my body is fully healed in ten seconds and I can modify the shape of my bones.”

“Interesting.....”

“So how many binding can I do ?”

'I hope I can at least make two of them....'

“I don't really know, I stopped to search for the races you have in your body after reaching the 23th. If I continued to search you would have died.”

He answered me without any kind of emotions in his voice but his interest was easily showed.

“So I can make a binding with all of you ?”

“Ahahah yes indeed, human... but do you really wish to bind your soul to all of us ? You will have nine beings of great power living inside you, it will maybe get noisy inside your head.”

“Is it all you desire from us, human ?”

I nodded and waited for their answer.

“Then I shall accept your offer but know that our training is not for the weak. So now that all of it is settled, with the power as the head of the dragon's clan I order all of you to bind your soul to this human, before we bind our souls human, I have to warn you that with the power of nine ancient dragons in your body and soul, you will bear the weight of the only remaining member of our clan.”

“Now, brothers I will lead the way and wait for you !”

The body of all these dragons began to turn into all kind of coloured light and entered my body all at once.

'It's not as painful as I thought, hmm ?'

My heart stopped and I lost health at a great space but it was recovered thanks to my skill. Then pain like never before, it was more painful than the time I was tortured by the evil apostle.

The worst thing was that I couldn't lose consciousness.....

“Fuck ! What kind of price is that ?!”

Cursing and hitting the ground with all my strength, I waited for the pain to stop.

When It has stopped I was heavily breathing, trying to not fall asleep now that I no longer suffering.

[So human, was it painful ?]

There was too many informations at once ! What was that ? Mana crystal ? Mana water ? Mana pool ? I don't know anything about it....
