Dictate is sometimes used as a way to refer to it, but cast is used more often. Those particularly arrogant or aware will be using the word choice when referring to it.
Verbal Spells are Incants,
Movement spells are Evokes.
Spells with no visible signs or actions are called instants.
Mental Imagery is not necessary but is needed for faster casting, and fluent casting. Transitions are essential.
Aspect. Energy drawn from theoretical parallel universes, or cores Which are referred to as sources.
Core. Internal sources and channels of energy which provide the body the ability to create it's own sources of energy to draw upon when using certain commands.
Source. Something which can generate pure energy, and allow a smooth transition in form or cycle through into a core for adapted use.
For life force, it's the heart.
Seen from a deep glow from outside of the chest.
For mana, it's the brain.
Seen from Changes in the eyes, often found with a soft glow, change in hue, or slight discoloration.
For psionics and supernatural, it's usually the nervous system.
Seen as an aura around the body, soft imprints from footsteps, and pulses of energy, with a slight hum and buzzing, as if the air is electrically charged.
As you can guess any attempt to modify any of this is very risky.
And it's real finicky as to exactly how much the relation the energy has towards more natural functions of the body.
Some magics may be unsuitable or incredibly difficult due to the limitations of species, though humanity is proven to be versatile as can be, in general.

Cardian technology is infusing large amounts of data onto a data card. When enough cards have been collected, it is considered a deck.
There are C grade cards. (Civilian)
There are M grade cards. (Military)
There are S Grade cards. (Science)
There are I grade cards. (Industrial)
They are made apparent by the back cover of the cards, which have a unique design and distinct color, though generally it's sorted by Grey, Dark Green, Blue, and Yellow. Other cards between various corporations exist, but are lesser known.
Military grade cards start off with a neutral base.
Circuitry (Tuner)
Is considered fairly dangerous, due to how it often causes repercussions without restraint. It's an old form which allows a great deal of freedom when able to be properly used, but is painful and akin to magical enhancement surgery.
Needs several people to coordinate the process. One Creator for the software, one Changer to activate the initial spark, and a Shaper which needs to lay down the hardware and wire everything into the proper channels.
It is referred to as an ECM

Spell Structure/skeleton (Shaper)
It is an elaborate process in which Aspects are not used as a power source, at least, not firstly. It's composed of an initial frame of interweaving nodes and lines. They tend to have many fluctuating variables but cannot change their original function or process unless one is a very skilled Changer.
Channeling (Conductor)
Channeling is usually a way to gain a great amount of power using a large amount of people. It is most commonly seen in large industrial operations and during times of war. To use this kind of power, one must have specialized training and have to practice with people beforehand. There are other methods and forms of Channeling which are independant, but require a certain physique and aptitude.
Conversion (Changer)
Changers are known for very fine disruptions and alterations in uncontrolled Aspects. They often can divert energy, and turn an attack against an opponent. They are more instinctive and reactive, having years of practice under their belt. While being one of the less potent methods in terms of strength. Their raw versatility can overwhelm an opponent's options. A good changer will never be helpless.
Supernatural Abilities.
Inherited(Family name)
Inheritance are often but not always based on blood, as carrying on the legacy or the memory of a person may result in acquiring their faded power.
It is usually a trait which is passed on, which makes them resemble the predecessor. There are many variations and different results, but one thing is certain. They will remind people of a legacy.
Phenomena(Espers)
Phenomena is usually caused by abnormal interference by otherworldly beings and energies. When a contact point and corresponding trigger is made, a phenomena occurs.
Some may be able to have vibrant illuminating smiles. Others may disappear before your very eyes. But the most important thing for phenomena is timing, action, and convergence.
If they all fit, a truly miraculous phenomena will occur.
Achievement. (It is what it is.)
An achievement that the gods would fail to do. This honor is proof of one's existence, and exerts a presence on the world.
Ex. Cloud runner, Bolt chaser...
Martial Prowess
Trained proficiency(... Artist)
Practice. Practice. Practice. Until a skill is so engraved that a part of your body melds into the skill, and each strand of your mind can sink into a certain set of motions. The final result is difficult to say.
Practiced technique(User)
Similar to trained proficiency but even more narrow. A single action which can be applied, trained to the point of seeming inhuman.
Mindset and Perspective(Believer)
A certain view of the world and those around you, and one's ability to accept and process information.
Physique(... physique.)
One's base health, condition, and long term effects on the body. Can have special properties or clearly defined afflictions.
Talent
One's greatest strength awakened.
Lesser known classification.
Sentient Magic, able to be conversed with and has multiple supporting styles but is difficult to teach besides the ones oriented for being taught. Incant magic, or somatic magic.

The relations between Commands, tech, and Future tech, and the limitations of the world.
Commands actively attempts to nullify electrical signals, rendering most technological advancements inert without proper modification and additional shielding. When Commands are used in a world where there should be none, there is a test of stability where one's domain is grinded upon, and failure to hold will result in losing control resulting in a combustion.
This is due to the stability and denial of a world rule by physics.
Tech can be used in a fantasy world, but will be infinitely be more likely to deteriorate and start malfunctioning, depending on how advanced it is. Even in an advanced fantasy world, tech finds itself to be unable to achieve the standards that people expect of it.
This is due to time's influence.
For high tech world's, nothing is able to be powered, and any mechanical parts are unable to operate. The materials are still rather advanced and can be preserved, but continued exposure will corrode metals. Some may simply be turned to junk upon arrival, as limitations cannot be bypassed to a certain point.
This is due to authority of area gods, and their refusal to allow havoc not under their guidance.
