Chapter 11: Relocating to Rajgarh Metro city

He showered first thing after getting home since he was mentally exhausted from breaking up with Pallavi, but he also pondered what had transpired at the top of the mountain and was thinking about the wasp.

Arundhati asked: “It took a long time for you to return, son. Where were you? Have you met each friend you have?”

While he was thinking he was snapped out of his thoughts as his mom asked him the question.

Bharat said: “Yes mom I met my friends and also informed them that I am relocating to Rajgarh metro city”.

Since Mrs. Arundhati was unaware of his relationship with Pallavi, Bharat kept quiet about it. He also failed to inform her that the majority of his friends had already moved out of town. Furthermore, he dared not bring up the wasp episode. He wasn't sure if his mother would believe him or not and would assume he was delusional or ill. In such a case, Bharat might need to see a doctor for a comprehensive examination of his physical and mental health. Additionally, he himself found it hard to believe because he had no physical harm or injuries from the experience, and it felt more like a dream than anything else. As a result, he was unsure of the veracity of the incident so how could he expect his mom to believe in that same incident.

Arundhati said consoling her son: “I know Bharat that this has been very hard on you for leaving your friends and moving to a new city altogether however you already know how the circumstances are so that is the reason we have to move out of Rajgarh Town. I am sure that once we go to Rajgarh Metro city you will be able to resume your studies and will have a lot more opportunities than here.”

Bharat said: “I understand mom and I also know that more than me you will be missing this town and this home nevertheless once we move out to Rajgarh Metro city then our situations will definitely improve and we will be living a much better life.”

Arundhati hugged her son and said: “My son, you are so mature and you understand the situation. We thank God for giving us such a good and mature son.”

Mr. Brahma said: “Don’t worry once we reach Rajgarh Metro city most of our problems will be over since the influence of Tiger Bhai will be a lot less and also we have our relatives there and my older brother is there who is in police so we will also have protection.”

Although Bharat comforted his parents by saying that he understood their predicament, he knew deep down that he would miss Rajgarh town greatly because it was his birthplace, where he was raised and where the majority of his friends lived. It was also his home, where there were numerous reminders of his early years. For instance, he used to record his height at the back of the kitchen door as he grew older. Similarly, there were many things he would miss, but it was also true that most of his friends had moved out of town and that Pallavi had broken up with him, so there was no reason for him to be here.

Bharat thought in his heart: “Pallavi you have been my childhood friend and my first love perhaps for you I was not the right person however for me in my heart you will always find a special place reserved just for you. I wish you all the best in life and I want you to get all the happiness and love in the world.”

After that the family of three had their dinner early and slept since the next day they had to get up early in order to reach the train station in time because they had to catch the train in the morning.

Next day they got up early at five am in the morning to get ready. They have already packed the luggage and prepared themselves on the previous day itself as the train was sharp at 9.00 AM and they have booked a cab to reach the station since by car it takes almost one hour time to reach the train station. Since his father has not yet fully recovered and his doctor has advised against him performing any physical labor, Bharat assisted Arundhati in setting up the luggage in the back of the car. For the time being, however, it was more than sufficient that Brahma was able to walk and travel by car and train, as the doctor had stated that Mr. Brahma's recovery would take some time.

It takes around one hour time to reach the train station from their home so they started their journey at around seven thirty am to reach the station thirty minutes early than the stipulated time since Mr. Brahma was very punctual and always like to reach his destination at least thirty minutes early and would like to wait for the train to arrive rather than arriving at the last minute to avoid the rush.

Since Rajgarh Town was a hilly area with a lot of flora and fauna as well as all the modern amenities like schools, colleges, and hospitals, Bharat was taking in the views from the side of the road while they were traveling. This was also the place where he was born and raised, and if it weren't for the crime lord, also known as Tiger Bhai, bullying his family repeatedly, they would never have left this place or his ancestral home. Because Tiger Bhai, the criminal leader, was revered as a god in Rajgarh town and his words were considered to be the town's laws, anyone who harbors resentment towards him will face certain destruction.
