A lush and green forested region full of majestically terrifying beasts and beautiful, exotic, man-eating plants.

Dominating the landscape was a strikingly handsome man, emanating an alluring aura. He stood tall at 195 cm, with chiseled legs and broad shoulders, his ruby red dreadlocks cascading down his back. His perfect muscles rippled under his milk chocolate skin as he sat cross-legged on a tree stump, exuding effortless charm and confidence. Surrounding this man was a dense scarlet-golden atmosphere shaped like an enormous dragon's head. Inside the draconic aura, hieroglyphic symbols danced and swam around as if they possessed a life of their own.

After a while, the bright blue skies suddenly darkened out of nowhere. A scarlet lightning bolt shot out from the handsome man's body into the heavens, where storm clouds stretching as far as the eye could see were suddenly condensing.

*ROAR~~*

An earth-shattering and majestic roar came from the sky as an even fiercer scarlet lightning bolt plummeted down into the man's body in an explosion of light. The light faded after several minutes, revealing a ten-foot-tall colossal dragon man with dense muscles that looked like they were carved from steel. His skin was crimson in color, and his eyes were feral and scarlet-golden. Two silver dragon horns sat on the crown of his head as he kneeled in front of that handsome man with scarlet dreadlocks. The man calmly stood up, his shirtless physique and messy locks swirling with magic as his appearance rapidly changed. He walked to the side of the draconic being, their atmospheres blending into one.

"Master... big brother," came this iron tower-like man's deep and powerful voice. His voice was full of trepidation and confusion. "We are...alive? We are... inside Plato? Are these...incarnations? Soul clones? The air here tastes... different from before. Are our main bodies still in captivity?"

"Indeed, this world is different from before. Very different," responded the handsome man as he stood up and tried to pat the giant on the shoulder, but his hand only made it halfway up the giant's bicep. The man cleared his throat, saying, "But yes, this is the Plato Secret Star in Xena, the Twilight Boundary's hidden constellation. Someone has clearly altered this place after my incident. The ryms here in Xena are seven times greater than before, and this land is no longer called Plato by the locals...

"There's also something called the Mystic Expanse now. It's interesting, and apparently, I have administrative authority there. Anyway, this no longer matters. Time moves differently here than in the higher plane. One month in the celestial plane equals one hundred years in the mystic realms. From the mystic realms to the constellations of the third alternative, it should be a difference of 30-50 years for every month in this plane. In celestial time, without my special means, the trip from there should take over a celestial year. To reach here from the upper realm gateway should take another few mystic months.

"Once they reach this constellation's star system, their arcanum will be restricted, and they'll have to pass through its administrative customs. For them, the trip will take a bit over a year and nine months. For us, it should be around 910 years from now that Kiya and that traitor will arrive here to settle down. My boy should only be around two years old by then...sigh. How many years must I wait to tell him goodbye..."

"Brother Meno," blurted the crimson iron tower-like man in stunned confusion. "I sense True Dragon aura, at least ten of them. There is a dragon clan on this star now, and their bloodlines are so pure. How could this be? How could true dragons exist outside of the Volarian Wonderland?"

"Many things have changed here, Amen," replied Brother Meno, the handsome man. "All right, now follow me. I incarnated here as a child some 500 years ago. I will tell you more on the way."

As the two set out, Brother Meno lightly explained their situation.

The Plato Secret Star is located on a secluded life star in a seemingly random galaxy of the mortal realm, the lower third dimension. Xena was once a paradise for mortals and low-level beasts, but war has recently divided the races. However, this was not an issue. The original purpose of this zone was to serve as a hidden base for the fey clans born from the declining divine bloodlines.

Without opposition, how could they grow?

In the fall of that last era, a great war involved everything in reality. At the war's end, the divine races separated the chaosverse into three main planes containing hundreds of subsidiary zones. They are known as the Mortal, Mystic, and Celestial planes. Each plane exists in its own dimensional realm.

This war later became known as the Great Infinite War.

The almighty Hero race, rulers of the arcane laws of fate and once known as the most potent race under divinity, have all but gone extinct in the upper planes after the Great Infinite War.

The hero race was separated into three sub-races: the elves, the dwarves, and the humans. The last of hero kind is found predominantly in the mortal realms, where humans were the vast majority if one did not count the monster race. After hundreds of years, whenever the outcasts of the celestial plane's divine races copulated with the denizens of the lower planes, hybrid clans came into being. Such hybrids were fundamentally different from their predecessors.

With no race to claim as their own, these hybrid clans were known collectively as the Fey.

The upper races often shunned those born Fey, and the lower races even disdained them for being different. Even worse, if any divine race encountered a fey clan born of their kin, that clan would either be blessed into divinity or obliterated. There was no in-between. Many were unaware of the reason behind this, but Brother Meno knew that there was only one valid reason.

The myriad of energies in the world, or in other words, Ryms.

For any intelligent life form, ryms are fundamental to amassing power, as they are the manifestation of power itself. The Last Savior created ryms to balance the world, and many throughout creation have wondered what the world was like before ryms. The beings alive who know the truth can be counted on two hands.

Fey clansmen who possessed the blood of humans possessed limitless potential. Unlike the elves, who were blessed with naturally mature ryms. Or the dwarves, who did not possess any ryms but were blessed with in-born divine strength; humans were actually the weakest and humblest existence at birth. They neither possessed ryms nor strength. Thankfully humanity had initially been a race with the most compatible lifeblood in existence, as the fallen goddess of fate once blessed it.

Due to their eternal samsara grand arcana, heroes could reproduce with almost any race. But humans could also assimilate any race's soul and lifeblood power at a price. This meant they could possess almost any type of rym or lifeblood if one assimilated it properly.

Hence, the divine races considered creatures with human blood as human still.

Humans with fey bloodlines were often destined to be amazing existences. To the divine races, humans with fey blood had to be eliminated. It would be too late if they let the hero race rise once again, fiercer than ever before. The fear that the divine races held towards humanity became a prejudice that all races had against the fey in general, including the fallen hero race itself.

Only the two pinnacle races of the celestial plane remained indifferent to the development of other races. The hidden constellation Xena was meant to be a secret refuge for the fey, especially those of human descent. However, this zone was now dangerously unstable and full of the purest power of origin. This power of origin made the natural ryms in most worlds excessively pure, almost too pure to refine easily. At some point, this once artificial world had evolved into an authentic grand chaos level area, and its level was rising yearly.

Rympage Meno Drakel was one of the immortal pioneers who helped open this secret realm, and he chose its secluded location. As a member of one of the strongest divine races to ever exist, Meno did not fear the fey. He even felt intrigued by their potential. He went out of his way to help them formulate. Meno was a scientist researching to find the most powerful bloodline in existence. The Last Savior is rumored to have been the only one ever to possess the bloodline.

The Universal Prime.

Meno believed humanity held the key to this bloodline.

Luckily, Xena was still rather safe.

Most warriors of the mystic realms had no idea such a zone even existed because this zone was, in reality, the equivalent of a hidden laboratory.

However, why would the door to his secret laboratory suddenly be wide open? The so-called Mystic Expanse was a direct link between minor and greater planes. Although the mortals were granted a significant handicap, did it matter?

Someone had clearly kicked down his door!
