I woke up, seated on a comfortable chair. In front of me, hovered a hologram of my current body, which was projected from the arms of the chair. Around the body hovered words, numbers, and symbols, which took my new mind a few seconds to process.
"Let's see here," I muttered as I read over the status, which could be accessed from the control room, and not anywhere else.
Name: Please Choose a Name ?>
I thought for a few seconds then said, "Set Name to Tobi."

After the name had been confirmed I continued to read down the status and opened explanations where I needed more explanation on things.
Titles:
0: Eternal Champion of the System
You are a champion of the system, this title takes no slots, had no passive, and cannot be unequipped.
Active: While problem-solving for the system, you have infinite stats and cannot be harmed. You gain no experience, but upon successful completion of the problem, may get an appropriate award token from the system.
Passive: None.
Special: Eternal, you will instantly appear in your Control Room upon death. You will lose all Stored Mass, any progress towards your any feature you are working on, as well as on skills, attributes, powers, and abilities. You must wait two weeks to re-enter the game unless you pay a loss of 2 to random attribute, skill, power, or ability per day you skip.
Note: If you are called out for System work, this penalty will not apply, unless you decide to stay after the problem is solved, the 'respawn' timer is frozen during this period also.

I nodded as this section was easy to understand, then continued onto the next.
Species: Adaptomorph
Oh? In one of my previous lives, I had been one of these for a few hundred years, before they got wiped out as a threat to the galaxy. It was the race I would have chosen, had I the choice. I opened up the description text just to make sure it was the same species.
Adaptomorph:
A naturally occurring constructed sentient being, blended from many races DNA and parts that combined on some remote planet, and gained sentience on its own.
This species was birthed on a very hostile world, and due to being a 'construct' can take DNA and/or parts from other things, and add them to their own by using up some of their mass. Please note they must first absorb a corpse with the feature(s) they wish to add to their own, and also enough other corpses to gain the mass necessary to add on or grow the new features.
I nodded, a smile on my face. They were pretty much as I had remembered them, the only difference is the next entry.
Stored Mass: 0/100
As you absorb the corpses you gain mass. You start with a max of 100 stored mass, but at the cost of a full storage may upgrade the storage. Before you leave your Control Room, you may set feature or storage upgrades, please note that a feature upgrade that takes multiple storage amounts will cost 10% of your storage each overage.
Example: You have a storage of 100, the feature you want costs 500. You will need to fill the storage 6 times to get enough, as each fill only counts as 90 towards your feature, with 10 being taken to 'hold' the features place.
You may also upgrade your height and or weight, with the same rules. If you set your storage to upgrade, it will continue to upgrade each time it hits the maximum storage limit, until you change what you wish for it to work on. If nothing has been chosen, you will no longer be able to store mass.
You may use mass for healing, at the rate of 100 SM per 1 Life Point. There are skills and abilities to lower this.
Important Note: Other healing items will not work on you, and instead are added to your Stored Mass. This does not affect regenerative powers/abilities the player may have.
Now that was interesting. It sucked a little that I couldn't use healing potions, pills, or nano packs normally, but the new way seemed better, once I worked down the cost. The next section looked like it, detailed classes. I looked them over curious as to what they had given me. Was it as a good as the species they had given me?
Classifications -
Combat: Personal Martial Arts
The combat type you use is a Martial Arts, which allows you to only use weapons, armor, and clothing that are a part of you, either by being built into your physical self or bonded to your soul, becoming a part of your sentient self.
Companion: Lord Binder
A Lord is one who can lead people from a small squad or village, all the way up to a large empire, combining the abilities of Emporer, King, General, Leader, Commander, etc....
Current: Councilors: 2 (1 per Mind, Non-combatants), Officers: 1 (1 per 10 Aura rounded up), Enlisted: 2 (1 per Soul), Civilians: 200 (100 per Soul, Non-combatants).
A Binder is one who can use binding contracts, and collars, as well as tame creatures. This combines, Master Slaver, Slave Master, Contractor, Summoner, Necromancer, Caller, Tamer etc....
Current: Slaves: 1 (1 per 10 Spirit rounded up), Servants: 2 (1 per Mind), Contracts: 1 (1 per 10 Will rounded up), Tames: 1 (1 per Will), Summons: 1 (1 per Will), Undead: 1 (1 per Will).
Crafting: Grand Arch Artificer
The Grand Arch Artificer can craft anything, their crafting skill is maxed out, instead, they must raise the blueprints, and their complexity.

Blueprints: Basic - Structure, Weapon, Armor, Household Goods, Cleanliness Items, Clothing, Farming, Ranching, Orcharding, Layout Planning, Constructs, Alchemy.
I realized the blueprints at least for now were groupings of similar items, the most basic types. But it was a start. A lucky start at that, I could make the basics, no need to purchase them, unless they were above what I could currently create.
Constructs: 1 (1 per 10 Flow rounded up).
Magic: Aural Enhancement.
You are not the type of mage that slings fireballs and lightning around with the cast of a spell, instead you flood your aura with fire, lighting, or whatever element or mix of elements suits you, as well as being able to enhance your own body, other's bodies, or items with your magic powers. (You may still sling fireballs if you enchant an item to do so for you.)
You also have the ability to debuff enemies, through enhancement.
Psionics: Personal X-pathic.
You have the ability to communicate mentally to any of those who are yours, such as slaves, villagers, officers, etc.... In the case of those you actually own or have made you can also control them through this power.
In the case of items, if bound to your soul you may move them as if you had telekinesis.
Chi: Lustful Passion
You cultivate your Chi quicker through acts of flirtation and sex. Have fun!
Other Powers:
None at the moment, please purchase or develop them.
I blinked after I read that long section. It was not bad for the most part, a few things here or there looked like they would irritate me, but I would learn to deal with time in time. I hoped. I then looked at the next section.
Attributes:
Gender: Morphic (Male)
You may change your gender at any time, your base gender is male. Please note it is possible, through your mass and others genetic code (or what they use for it) you may produce or give offspring. This is not random, but must be chosen on purpose to happen.

Body: 2
Body determines how much life you have. This also determines how long you can go without getting tired. Body is the sum of Power and Reflex. Improves the regeneration of Life.
Also, affects body damage reduction (BDR).
Power: 1
This is how strong you are, affects lifting, carrying, and bonus damage for attacks that use strength.
Reflex: 1
Determines all kinds of speed-related stats, such as running speed, reaction time, etc...

Mind: 2
This affects the amount of Psi you have to use your psychic powers. This is the sum of Intellect and Memory.
Also, affects mind damage reduction (MDR).
Intellect - Affects many parameters of psychic powers, as well as how much/fast you learn skills. In computer/hive or similar minds also determines how many processes can run at a time. The default is one process per Intellect. Improves the regeneration of Psi.
Memory - How much storage you have for memories. You have a special case, you will remember everything, it is recalling it that can give you a problem. This turns into how many memories you can call up per minute.
I blinked as I read about memory, "Wow, something decent. This will be even better later as I level up my memory."
Soul: 2
This determines how much Chi you can cultivate. This is the sum of Spirit and Aura.
Also, affects soul damage reduction (SDR).
Spirit: 1
This works like Intellect, except it affects the parameters of your chi powers/abilities. Improves the regeneration of Chi.
Aura: 1
This is the range of your aura (Aura in feet). Note: as an Aural Enhancer, all your spell, psionic, and chi powers will use this for their range, the range is not affected normally by other attributes. As a bonus of this class, this stat will add in the same damage, duration, and cost reduction from Aura in addition to the appropriate attribute normally used.
Enchantments/Enhancements work off the normal attribute bonuses.

This is the area of the metaphysical or magic, it will determine your mana and meta damage reduction. This is the sum of Will and Flow.
Will: 1
The strength of your willpower determines how much you can cast in a period of time, as well as taming, summoning, etc....

Determines the regeneration of your mana, as well as reduces casting times.
