All of them already knew Garrick, except Haruki. Garrick introduced himself as the devoted bodyguard of the Gazzelwald’s Princesses, boasting nine years of service to the Empire. He took a seat, making way for Seraphina to present herself.
“I think everyone knows me as well, but I’ll still introduce myself. My name’s Seraphina Gazzelwald, Princess of the Eldoria Empire, that’s all… So, who’s next?”
Roderick, the former wandering merchant turned SteelFury member, stood up to share his story: "Roderick Hartfield, I was a wandering merchant not too long ago, but I decided to settle down and find a place to call home, which led me to join the SteelFury.”
Next, Lila introduced herself: “Talila Haell, but you can all call me Lila. Originally from Shyrlaiqua, the Kingdom of the Elves, my family sent me here for training to become a proficient archer.”
Haruki mentioned he would go last due to a specific reason, which the others understood. Seraphina agreed, turning her attention to the newcomers.
Shinji began the introduction for their trio: “We are the Yonezawa twins, born and raised here. Our father runs a food business that supplies the Empire. And this is our long-time friend, Kazehaya Kakuzo. The three of us go way back.”
Kakuzo then stood to share more about his family: “I’m Kazehaya Kakuzo. Our family is related to the Yonezawas, tracing back to our great-grandfathers. They were brothers by blood, and their adopted sister was our great-grandfather’s sibling. As for us, we live near the northern gate, alongside the Yonezawas. Our lives are rather ordinary. We run a small blacksmith shop, crafting weapons and shields.”
Once Kakuzo finished, it was finally Haruki’s turn. He stood up, preparing to reveal his background: “As you all know, my name is Kazanarugi Haruki, and I come from another world. On my planet, centuries have passed since your current time.”
Garrick couldn’t help but be curious: “So, you’re saying your world is far more advanced?”
“Yes, I can show you some examples.” Haruki retrieved a few items from his bag to demonstrate.
He presented a set of clothes first, explaining: “These are used in business and fashion. Wearing this, you’d look quite impressive, I think.”
Next, he revealed a phone and a laptop, elucidating their functions: "These are called phones, used for communication, and this larger one is called a laptop or a computer, primarily for business. Although, since I’m here, these two are completely useless.”

Haruki then displayed a small solar panel connected to a battery, along with some wires: “This is a solar panel. I use it to charge or, in simpler terms, store power for these devices.”
The group looked on in amazement, absorbing the knowledge Haruki shared. Seraphina, intrigued, couldn’t help but ask: “Are these dangerous?”
“No, not at all… Oh, and I have one more thing left in this bag of mine.”
From his bag, Haruki pulled out a lunchbox, which had a mouthwatering aroma wafting from it. Seraphina couldn’t resist commenting: “What’s this? I smell something delicious!”
Before opening the box, Haruki shared a bit about its contents: “This box was made by my sister on Earth. It’s filled with her delicious cooking.”
Seraphina and Lila’s eyes lit up at the prospect of such delightful fare. Haruki, however, couldn’t help but be overwhelmed: “Though she’s not here, I might not be able to enjoy her cooking like this… anymore.”
Seraphina and Lila were quick to offer their encouragement, with Seraphina patting Haruki on the back: “That’s not impossible at all. I might be able to replicate some of your sister’s dishes.”
“Yes, Haruki, we might manage,” Lila chimed in.
Touched, Haruki wiped his tears and expressed his gratitude: “Thank you, both of you. I might finally get to taste my sister’s cooking.”
Seraphina, slightly flustered, replied: “Yes, understood.”
Haruki continued by unveiling the contents of the lunchbox, revealing a spread of delicious and nutritious foods, including fish, fruits, vegetables, and rice: “This is what my sister made. It’s packed with protein.”
Seraphina and Lila were entranced by the appealing spread. Curious about the term “protein,” they asked for an explanation. Haruki patiently described its significance and benefits, ensuring they understood.
After a few minutes of detailed explanation, Seraphina and Lila nodded in comprehension, expressing their gratitude: “Now we know why protein is important for our bodies,” Seraphina acknowledged.
“Yes, so we need fish and meat to get it,” Lila added, making a mental note.
After the informative session, Haruki couldn’t help but admit, “I’m a bit tired from all that explanation.”
Garrick, appreciating Haruki’s efforts, chimed in, “But well, good work back there. I think Lady Seraphina and Lila gained some valuable knowledge from you. It might prove useful in their culinary endeavors.”
Shinji, realizing it was time to leave, stood up, stating, “I think it’s time for us to head out. Ani- is now satisfied with ‘meeting’ her.”
Shunji followed suit, expressing his contentment, “Indeed, I’ve had my fill of meeting the princess. Let us take our leave.”
He walked out, Kakuzo and Shinji offering their apologies for Shunji’s behavior. Garrick and Haruki were quick to reassure them, saying, “Not at all.”
Then, Shunji departed, leaving behind a sense of calm in the room.
