Epilogue 1: Red Goblin
Laura stood in the stream and stared at her body in morbid fascination. Red skin, claw like nails on her hands and feet, with a small petite body barely the same size as a seven- to eight-year-old child. She was a goblin and a red one at that. One that would complete her mission of breaking out of the boundary and finding her goddess. By any means necessary. Whether it be through peace or war.
Laura couldn’t belief that she got isekai after getting hit by a truck. That was the third time she was hit and the only time it wasn’t on purpose.
“Now that I’ve been reborn it’s time to become the worlds strongest. No one will be allowed to stop me or be above me. No one expect my goddess.
HA.
HA.
HA.
HA.”
Laura laughed as steam began to rise from the stream and flames licked themselves all over her naked body. She would enjoy this life to the fullest.
She thought back to the events that triggered her death and rebirth and the deal she made with a goddess wrapped in chains.
*
Laura smiled happily as she brought the next volume in her favorite series Dragin Deez B. It was the twentieth iteration of the series as the fans begged the author to continue with it even when he wanted to end it several times. Today she was in her cosplay of her favorite character Meateta and the weird looks that people gave her as she walked down the street didn’t bother her one bit. Not. One. Bit.
Although Laura’s face was too deep into the book to see the judgmental views of anyone she passed. She was half naked after all and wasn’t in a category that people would find pleasant. So engrained into the story Laura didn’t notice that the light turned red as she continued through the intersection on the way back to her apartment. However, she did hear the screech of tires and the blaring of a horn looking up to see a truck bearing down on her.
Stolen story; please report.
Laura only had the opportunity to say a small “Oh” and her eyes lit up in excitement before the world went black. It was quick and painless unlike the other two attempts she made.
Laura did not know how long she was dead for but suddenly the light came back, and she found herself facing a goddess wrapped in chains. It was the first thing Laura noticed about the woman. The second was her beauty. She was something beyond human for her face appeared to be crafted from marble and it was as if a god carefully crafted every single detail and hair from her eyebrows to her small dainty nose and soft plump lips. Horns the color of a clear summer morning erected from her forehead while eyes that shift through the colors of the rainbow gazed upon Laura. With her expressive chest, Laura grew jealous of as her own could never make the chain’s bulge the way the goddess did. That feeling quickly faded, however.
“Wow you’re beautiful,” Laura said. She couldn’t help but express those words as she gazed upon the figure.
“Hello child,” a sweet soft voice no louder than a whisper can out from the petite goddess plump lips worming their way through her eardrums and into her mind.
“I sensed a kindred soul within you and have pulled you from the void surrounding the Lost Cycle in order to give you a new opportunity at life.”
Laura hung on every word and a smile appeared on her face as the goddess drew her in.
“Anything… anything I can do to repay you?”
Laura so desperately wanted to repay the goddess for her favor. She felt it deep within her heart. Well, soul as she no longer possessed a body.
The goddess smiled and for a second Laura passed out as her soul could no longer handle the beauty. When her consciousness returned Laura’s head was resting in the lap of the goddess and even through the chains, she could feel the softness of her body.
“I have crafted a special body for you. One that will allow me to communicate with you and grant you strength in times of need. I only need one promise from you.”
“Anything. I’ll do anything to help you,” Laura said frantically.
The goddess once again smiled but this time Laura kept her composure.
“Find me and break me out of these chains,” the goddess snarled losing her composure. Her horns turning the color of the setting sun on the edge of the horizon.
Laura cowered back and the goddess quickly recovered her expression.
“I’m sorry little one. Brace yourself for I am about to send you on your way.”
“Yes, my Goddess but I have one small, tiny question.”
“Go ahead, my darling.”
“What is your name?”
The goddess smiled down upon the floating soul that was now standing and ready to depart before a mighty and proud expression appeared upon her face.
“[Endless Gaia].”
