[The [Cursed Spirit Guardian of the Underworld (Tier 4)] have come to defend their territory!]
[The {Cursed Ward of Anubis} protects them from most Magic Damage, nullifying it almost completely.]
Vlad glanced at this message as he squinted his eyes, noticing dozens of these creatures, with the bodies of humans with black, metallic skin covered by black fur and black furred jackal heads.
They wore simply white robbed clothes around their hips, covering their crotches, and held large harvest scythes made entirely out of gold.
The moment he glanced at that one that had died recently, he noticed it had not disappeared, exploded into mana, or something else.
Its corpse seemed fresh, yet its blood was strange, oozing with miasma and poison; these things weren’t naturally born living beings.
Although the situation seemed desperate, and with being unable to use magic, however, he was pleased as it wouldn’t deal any damage against these things, Vlad saw this as an opportunity.
An opportunity to sharpen his fighting techniques, especially swordsmanship, and other abilities he had learned that weren’t just direct magic spells.
Just from the moment he got here, he had also noticed a couple of things too. For example, his Blazing Doppelgangers were more than capable of hurting these monsters despite being composed of magic.
The way they did this was by using his swordsmanship skill, which seemed to not be detected as magic even if the weapon was magical.
Therefore, Vlad cataloged their “immunity to magic” as only "pseudo-immunity,” and it didn’t cover every single loophole that could be abused.
“Alright, we’re going all-out.”
With a calm demeanor and sharp crimson eyes glowing brightly, the vampire prince summoned the rest of his Blazing Doppelgangers, as seven of them appeared around everyone.
Using the flames of their bodies, they summoned giant swords, rushing towards their foes and using the [Dual Blazing Blade Arts] Skill to slash through their bodies or intercept their incoming attacks.
CLASH! SLASH! CLASH! SLASH! CLASH! SLASH!
Explosions of flames and darkness erupted as Vlad’s little army of clones made of fire, copying 50% of his stats, clashed against the powerful Tier 4 Monsters.
Although they were fairly fast and strong, the monsters’ stats far surpassed theirs, overpowering them every time they attempted to fight one on one.
However, by ganging on a single foe, they were able to easily slice its limbs and then behead them in a matter of seconds.
Meanwhile, Chris summoned his Familiars attached to his equipment, such as the two Elemental Wolves, Redy and Stony, who were Vengeful Black Wolf’s Spirits originating from his ring.
The two wolves were loaded with Chris Arcana, growing three times as big and howling and barking furiously, charging against the monsters and distracting them.
He was unable to call Argentia’s help down here, so he had to do everything he could to survive on his own and not be a burden.
He couldn’t use magic, but arrows were fine. He quickly took out the powerful arrows he had commissioned Vlad to make for him from his inventory, loading more as he fired them.
“{Arrow Rain}!”
Using a simple Archery Technique, Chris fired one arrow that quickly divided into ten more, piercing through the bodies of the tough monsters and weakening them in the process, injecting holy light into them, which he had infused without using magic, but the Ki within his Heart.
Meanwhile, Vlad gave a step forward, as his Blazing Soul Aura combined with his Martial Soul Aura, exploding into an aura of golden flames that encompassed his sword!
As the monsters charged against him, he charged his sword with Arcana, increasing the potency of its attack power, and rushed forward.
With four foes in front, he swung his blade vertically, constantly spinning and then jumping in midair, cutting through the monsters seamlessly!
“{Dual Blazing Blade Arts}: {Golden Dragon Blazing Storm}!”
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
The cutting flames slashed through the monsters, cutting their limbs and torsos apart and killing them on the spot, only for Vlad to notice four more jumping towards him from behind.
“{Stone Wall}!”
RUMBLE!
Although magic did not damage, he simply conjured a giant wall of stone to get in their way. They destroyed it instantly, though.
CRASH!
However, it gave him a second to escape by using the Soar Spell and jump away from danger, followed by him rapidly descending using the same winds from Soar as fast as possible.
“{Dual Blazing Blade Arts}: {Golden Dragon’s Blazing Guillotine Fangs}!”
CLAAASH!
Like a deadly pair of guillotine blades, Vlad’s swords cut through the monsters as he descended, splitting them into two halves mercilessly and spreading an explosion of flames right afterwards, sending away those that survived.
BOOOM!
He was complementing his techniques by using a second sword, which he had stolen from the thugs they fought before; any sword would do for now.
He hadn’t had the time to forge a second sword to complement his techniques, seeing how he could even use them using a single blade.
So it was never his priority, and he liked the advantage of being able to swap or replace it with whatever he wanted.
“GRAAARRR!”
The jackal-headed giants rushed towards him, more of them coming. They swung their scythes against Vlad, releasing cutting waves of darkness that constantly hit him from every angle.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
His armor held on just fine; its durability was going down by the double digits with each blow, but it had much higher durability than the armor previous to this one, which Shamir had destroyed.
He glanced once more at the Armor Status, reading how everything worked.

{Description}
An incredible set of armor specifically created for Vampires who had comprehended the power of the Soul and Arcana, Arcanist Paladins, who have fallen into the dark side and absorbed the power of Curses and have further twisted it with the silver shine of Mithril. Using this armor, their magical powers will be enhanced, and they will even be able to summon mighty guardians to aid them in battle. The Goddess of the Silver Moon has blessed this Armor due to its incredible quality and beauty.
-----
This armor created using the pieces and fragments of the previous broken armor and adding stronger metals such as large quantities of Mithril, Magic Stones and Argentia’s Scales made for an incredible full-body armor.
Which granted him not only impressive stat bonuses but also a large quantity of Arcana to play around with.
In this game, Vlad was perhaps the only player that relied on his armor more than on his own weapon or skills!
“It’s about time.”
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
As he kept receiving the attacks within that frame of time, his armor started overflowing with a black and silver light, accumulating within its entirety.
“Come, my guardians.”
FLUOSH! FLUOSH!
The energies amassed and gathered together, summoning two enormous, ghostly knights wearing heavy silver-colored armor with several moon and half-moon-shaped symbols.
They were roughly twice as tall and big as Vlad and held a giant silver longsword and a huge shield that were actually mirrors, reflecting anything within them.
The two guardians, who had no faces and only darkness beneath their helmets, where their eyes only glowed with bright blue flames, unleashed their power.
“{Weapon Technique Echo}”
Vlad jumped forward, swinging his swords and slashing apart the arms of the nearest Jackal-like monster, who screamed in pain, opening its jaws to quickly bite his head, which his armor protected him against.
CLANK! CLANK!
As the beast broke its teeth, suddenly, Vlad’s ghostly guardians swung their swords as well, imitating his technique and improving upon it, infusing them with silver moonlight flames instead.
SLAAASH! SLAAASH!
Two waves of cutting energy sliced through the jackals around Vlad, cutting them into halves and then reducing them to pieces of flesh and bone splattered into the floor.
“It works well.” Vlad smiled. “So they really copy my technique and make it even more destructive, just like an echo.”
Weapon Technique Echo was just as he had imagined, and now Vlad had attained even more prowess on the battlefield.
“GRAAARRR!”
The jackals continued coming from the faraway corridor, dozens of them at the same time, making Vlad realize they might be endless.
Or somehow, whoever was summoning them had an endless supply of whatever was required for these things to be summoned.
Noticing that three of his Blazing Doppelgangers had already been crushed and that Chris, Camilla, and Queenie were being pushed back, he quickly charged to help them and regroup.
“Hang in there!” He jumped into the skies and then descended, unleashing his guillotine attack once more, which, with the power of his guardians, unleashed two even stronger echoes of his first attack, devastating six monsters at once.
SLAAASH! SLAAASH! SLAAASH!
As his allies saw their foes being split apart and explode into pieces, they were shocked by the level of power Vlad had achieved.
“T-That’s insane! How strong are you?!” Queenie wondered.
“He’s pretty damn strong… And me too! If I could use my magic properly, that’s it,” Chris groaned grumpily.
“Then we can-”
“SHYAAAHH!”
Before they could even speak anymore, the hissing of a giant snake echoed behind them as they noticed one of the jackals entering the room looking different than the rest.
It had a long tail that resembled a giant, purple-scaled cobra, and it was twice as big as the others, holding a pair of golden axes instead, with four eyes and four ears.
“Ah, looks like a Boss came out…” Chris muttered.
[The [Cursed Spirit General of the Underworld (Tier 5)] has come to command its army of guardians!]
[The {Cursed Ward of Anubis} protects them from most Magic Damage, nullifying it almost completely.]
“RAAAARRRGGHHH!”
With a monstrous and beastly roar, the creature raised his axes, making the rest of the jackal-headed creatures roar back, their auras suddenly growing stronger and taking upon a sharp, spear-like formation as they charged forwards.
[The [Cursed Spirit General of the Underworld (Tier 5)] has activated the [Command: Attack Formation] Skill!]
[All Soldiers below their command have received a buff to their Attack Power of 50%!]
“I should have guessed it could do that; it’s a General after all,” Vlad laughed. “Alright, I’ll clear the way through; we’ll charge directly towards that thing and kill everything on sight! I’ll protect you, so you freely shoot and destroy anything else.”
Vlad was confident in his armor, whose durability had barely decreased so far, and quickly started running forward without even waiting for everyone’s opinion.
There wasn’t much time for them to even word their opinions anyway; it was a thing of life and death, and without doubt, they followed him right away.
His Golden Blazing Soul Aura surged, transforming once more into a coiling, serpentine, and majestic dragon that encompassed his two swords.
Vlad’s mind synchronized with Paul, as both Avatar and Player became one.
Focusing.
Completely.
Into what was in front of them.
And there was only a single word within their minds.
Kill.
“{Dual Blazing Blade Arts}: {Soaring Golden Dragon’s Charge}!”
“ROOOAAARRR!”
The golden dragon born from his very soul roared at the army of jackal-headed monsters as Vlad swung his blade constantly, cutting through them all like a lawnmower cutting grass. His guardians only made this even more destructive.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
As severed body parts, arms, legs, torsos, and heads flew everywhere, Chris, Queenie, and Camilla attacked. Rains of arrows, piercing trident blows, crushing telekinetic attacks, and beams of pink light constantly consumed anything that survived and chose to attack Vlad from behind or around him.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Eventually, Vlad faced the General, whose four eyes glowed with bright red light; its snaketail hissed at him, opening its jaws and firing bullets of deadly poison.
Vlad quickly swung his blades, encompassing them with blazing soul flames; he cut through the poison and burned it, all while quickly jumping into the skies and descending with a guillotine attack once more.
SLAAASH!
The General attempted to fight back by using its giant axes, clashing against Vlad!
CLASH!
However, its four eyes widened as it noticed Vlad’s ghostly guardians, who unleashed the same guillotine attack again, twice, and even stronger than before.
CLAAASH! CLAAASH!
With no time to retaliate, defend, or evade, the monster’s axe and arm were both cleaved apart, followed by Vlad rushing towards its chest, slicing it apart with everything he had.
SLASH!
However, he noticed the torso was incredibly tough; his sword had gotten stuck there before he could slice through more.
“A Tier 5 Monster, without a doubt!”
However, his guardians followed right afterwards, helping him slice through the boss, cutting its torso apart and making its blood splatter everywhere.
SLAAASH!
“GRYYAAARRGH!”
The mighty Tier 5 Monster died before it could even fight back!
As its torso dropped into the floor, splattering its oozy, black, miasmic blood.
No more monsters were coming this time.
“Looks like we did it; is everyone okay?” He glanced at the rest, noticing they were fine but a bit tired.
“Yeah, just damn tired,” Chris groaned. “Ugh, is it over already?”
“I don’t think so; there’s someone over there!” Suddenly, Queenie panicked, noticing a large silhouette approaching.
Everyone’s eyes were directed towards it, suddenly revealing the figure of a tall, burly black werewolf with bright red eyes.
“Hah, that was the entire group of bandits here, you know? The dumbasses ate the orbs right away and easily turned into my monsters,” he laughed. “And you killed them all so quickly… The rumors are true! The Vampire Prince is a little monster.”
“You’re the leader of this group of bandits?” asked Vlad.
“Yeah, it’s me, Princey,” nodded the werewolf. “It’s a pity though; this’ll be the last thing you see!”
FLASH!
Within a single second, the werewolf appeared in front of Vlad, teleporting through shadows and then swinging his two claws against him.
CLAAASH! CLAAASH!
