*the chapter begins with the students making it to the new island where they find a large cylinder tower in the center surrounded by quartz stone with large gapping dark tunnels leading into it, each student enters through these tunnels with the sound of their brooms flying in echoing through out the tunnels when they enter a large arena, eight the ground covered in rock, surrounded by large walls where teachers, student councilmen and kiruma awaits above them all*
Rose: was this structure under water this entire time?
Kiruma: its seems like almost everyone have arrived
*Gin and sheila come screaming and falling down from the open top ceiling*
Gin: PLEASE HELP US!!!
Isaac: we have too—
Hayami: wait!
*akumo flies his broom towards them and leaps to catch them but Gin and sheila suddenly stop mid air as akumo plummets into the ground*
Kiruma: you cant be serious…
Gin: sorry….
Akumo: ow that hurt!!
Kiruma: if you were skilled enough you could’ve called your broom to catch you as you fell
*everyone begins to laugh at akumo as he stands on his feet irritated and embarrassed*
Akumo: well sorry I’m not you…
Kiruma: anyways now that everyone is here you better prepare yourselves
*akumo suddenly senses a threat coming his way*
Akumo: wait I know this feeling
Kiruma: those who defeat 100 monsters before the 5 minute timer runs out will stay and become a north district student
Crowd: no way we can beat that many in such a short amount of time this is bogus!!
Kiruma: if you want to quit then you can swim back! you wont be needing the brooms
*the brooms disappear and gates all around the arena begin to open where muzzled monster hounds get ready to attack*
Kiruma: don’t worry we made sure these monsters don’t kill anyone here but they will severely injure you
Girl: this has to be illegal!
Kiruma: its either kill or be killed, now let the final faze of this exam begin!!!
*all of the monsters run out and begin attacking the students, gin runs away to afraid to approach or to even think about any monster*
Gin: I cant take this I have to get out of here!!
*a hound lunges towards gin with claws sharp and ready to pounce when akumo arrives in time to knock the monster back and saving gin*
Akumo: come on are you seriously scared of these things?
Gin: but they’re monsters…
Akumo: and it’s our job to beat them!!
*Brock plunges through the beast with his mighty fist alone as they rain down around him and while he lifts up his fist laughing hysterically*
Brock: Come on I’ll beat every single one of you!!
Rose: you sure are a brute aren’t you?
Shade: can we just focus on surviving?!
*during the commotion hayami steps next to kiruma questioning the importance of the exam*
Hayami: sensei I don’t want to be rude but what is the purpose of this part of the exam?
Kiruma: to see if they’re capable of one key thing they need
Hayami: and that is?
Kiruma: trust
*after a while akumo lands on his feet with his hands resting on his knees breathing heavily after the intense battles he had endured, he wipes off sweat from his chin when he questions why they fight*
Akumo: man I’m so tired!! And why are we fighting these anyway?

*suddenly a large sickle strikes down at akumo and by a hair akumo manages to dodge the sharp and powerful slash*
Akumo: that was close!
*to akumo’s surprise the hound in front of him grew much larger and menacing with Sickles growing out from their dewclaws*
Akumo: hey let’s be rational!
*the hound lunges at akumo slashing around, leaving large deep cuts into the ground trying to catch a hastful akumo when he spots a opening of attack*
Akumo: an opening!!
*akumo brings out his hand as he shoots lightning at the hound when it lands and explodes into smaller hound leaving akumo dumbfounded*
Akumo: how did they?...
Hayami: wait those things can morph into a bigger monster?!
Kiruma: yes its there special ability and the more they morph the stronger they get!
*the hound grow even bigger than before, as they tower over akumo. He stands beneath its shadow, he cracks a smile and points at the dog trying to make it behave*
Akumo: now you listen here--
*the hound slams its large claws into the ground as it shatters leaving the council shocked and surprised*
Isaac: what are these creatures?
Kiruma: they’re called hounds a “c class level monster” but when a pack morphs into one they become an upper B Class monster known as THE BEAST
*amongst the rubble akumo jumps out and uppercuts the monster with a lighting attack but the monster smacks akumo with its head sending him flying and crashing to a wall as he falls face first to the ground right by gin where he hides behind large rubble*
Gin: hey are you alright?
*Rose crushes a hound But it turns into smaller monsters and begin to crawl all over rose as she screams for help*
Shade: stop crying they have muzzles so they won’t bite
*Brock slams a hound and screams, suddenly all the hounds begin to morph into bigger monsters and then into one single giant monster it roars at akumo and breaks out of the magic muzzle*
Hayami: wait is this supposed to happen?!
Kiruma: no…
Boy: is this supposed to happen?!
boy2: there’s no way we can’t beat that thing!
Akumo: come on guys if we work together we can beat this thing!
Boy: are you crazy?! I’m not dying just to get into a school!!
Girl: yeah me either
*all of the students begin to run off and push each other away to escape*
Akumo: fine I’ll beat this thing all on my own!
*the hound rams akumo and tries to bite him but akumo barely holds on*
Akumo: you’re not playing nice! A dog isn’t supposed to bite their owner!!
*akumo dodge and avoids the devastating bite when he appears above the beast with lightning on his feet*
Akumo: lighting hatchet!!
*akumo lands a impactful strike on the beast’s head creating strong winds from the attack alone*
Akumo: haha yes!
*the hound steps back and bites akumo then he begun to shake akumo around and slam him into the ground*
Akumo: ahh!!!
*the hound puts its claws on akumo and with its growling teeth reaching closer to him akumo stands no chance in winning this fight but out of nowhere Brock lands a devastating punch to the beast as it falls over and crashes*
Brock: that’s how a real man saves the day!!
Akumo: stop copying my flow!!
*all of the students to begin to attack the beast when sheila arrives to heal akumo*
Sheila: I’m not much of a fighter but I’ll do what I can to help
Akumo: thank you
*sheila stops healing akumo*
Akumo: why you stop?
Sheila: I can only perform healing spells for a small amount of time…. You see I don’t have much magic….
Akumo: oh that’s…sad but where gin?
*elsewhere gin is still hiding underneath rubble to afraid and shaken to even move*
Gin: (are you kidding a monster?! What is this school thinking keeping something like that here?! Why? Why did it have to be a monster?
*Gin gets a flashback of a monster roaring and surrounded by flames*
Gin: no I’m not ever facing one again I cant!!...
Akumo: why did they suddenly start to help?
Brock: I forced them
Akumo: oh that’s a good idea!
Shade: the problem is we can’t defeat that thing if it keeps regenerating
Akumo: lets see!
*akumo begins to think and comes into a conclusion*
Akumo: plant lady!!
Rose: my name is Rosa va—
Akumo: don’t care! Keep that monster from moving!!
Rose: fine only because I get credit!
*plants and vines begin to emerge from the ground and wrap around the giant monster keeping it from moving*
Shade: now what?
Akumo: make everyone surround the monster from all sides!!
Hayami: (is he really going somewhere with this?)
*everyone begins to surround the monster*
Akumo: NOW BASH IT UNTIL IT STOPS REGENERATING!!!
Isaac&hayami: what….
Brock: I like this plan!!!
*all the students begin to shower the monster with attacks making it smaller overtime*
Isaac: its working?!
Rose: please hurry I can’t keep this up much longer!!
Akumo: *sighs* if only gon was here or was it gen? Oh well
*akumo places his palm up and a magic circle appears surprising kiruma, isaac and hayami*
Hayami: a magic circle? How can he use that?!
Isaac: that’s a advance level skill we haven’t learned yet
Kiruma: (this boy…)
*The sky begins to turn dark as clouds begin to form a spiral and thunder roars*
Akumo: lightning magic: static strike!!
*akumo slams his hand down and a giant lightning attack shoots down hitting the ocean and casting a large explosion*
Akumo: *sighs* see this is why I don’t use that spell! It goes everywhere but where I want it to go
Isaac&hayami: you’ve got to be kidding…
*the monster breaks out of the vines and dashes towards akumo only for Brock to step in with a spiraling shadow arm and punches the monster sending it crashing and turning back to normal sized hounds*
Kiruma: EXAM OVER!! WITH ONLY 2 MINUTES REMAINING!!!
Akumo: well that was fun huh guys?!
*everyone is cheering for Brock as he flexes then vines wrap around akumo*
Rose: how could you miss that?! I thought we were going to die!!
*akumo puts his finger out as he’s getting choked *
Akumo: but we didn’t right?...
*Sheila pleads to Rose*
Sheila: please let him go he was trying to help
Rose: I helped too! Did you know how scared I was?!
Sheila: yes I was scared too
Gin: good it’s finally over…
Kiruma: NOW THAT THE EXAMS ARE OVER YOU WILL RETURN HOME AND WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED WILL RECEIVE A MAIL FROM US AND IF YOU DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL ON THE FIRST DAY YOU WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE SYSTEM AND WLL NO LONGER ATTENED THIS SCHOOL!!
Everyone: (why are they so strict?)
*later Everyone leaves the gates and akumo jumping around excited *
Akumo: wow! I never knew school like this can be so much fun!!
Gin: are you kidding? This school will be the death of me
Brock: then why are you here?
Gin: because It was apart of the agreement we had with that hot teacher
Akumo: you talking about Ms. Kiruma?
Gin: who else?!
*Gin begins to fantasize*
Gin: I’ll let her violate me all she wants
Akumo: you’re weird
Gin: shut up! But I doubt I’ll be accepted to this school anyway I didn’t nothing but complained through out most of it
Brock: and hide!
Gin: shut up!!
