I'm back, and intend to delete my story then repost it again after it is revised.

Hey everyone. Sorry, I've been in a dark place in my life and it took a while to get past it. I also wanted to think about what I did wrong with the story the first time. Honestly I'm surprised that any of you stuck around this long, and I feel bad for ghosting everyone. Especially after a number of you have contacted me over recent months and I was too depressed to post or reply, or even log in to check. Life can get brutal at times, but I hope you're all doing well :)

Anyways, I intend to pick the story back up again but with a few major changes. First I'm going to delete the story off royal road and repost it, but this time I'm going to keep the smut to patreon only in a 'smut' tier that people can look at if they want to do so. Otherwise the smut will be completely out of the royal road story as it seemed to be a point where most people left the story or gave bad reviews. I'll do a rapid release for quite a while and then hope that this round, and after some additional editing, the turnout is better than the first time. Either way, after that I'll probably publish or at least put it on KU to see how well it does there.

The question becomes whether or not I retain this book as a non-smut story or a smut-story when I actually publish it. This was very obviously the key thing that people either loved or hated, and though I'm leaning towards non-smut with advertising a smut-based tier on patreon - if that tier becomes more popular than the non-smut tier I may publish it the way it was originally intended to be. Just depends.

> Edit: I am also considering posting the smut version to scribblehub and publishing a smut version as well as a non-smut version. That'd definitely be an option too.

Anyways hope you're all doing well and I'll probably delete then start reposting the revised versions of my story on royal road sometime this month, then pick up again where I left off. I still have all that backup story left, nearly 700k words if I recall correctly, that just need to be heavily edited past the point where I left off here.
