Giggles filled the air as little children ran around the island. They were all shades of blue and purple with tan and gold outfits. The kids screamed with joy as they ran through the forest, gatherers and hunters exclaimed as the kids ran through. The hunters were spotted hunting strange creatures that were parasites to the being they lived on while the Gatherers would be collecting various strange fruits and vegetables. Echo, who seemed to be around 8 at the time weaved her way through the forest as if she had memorized the whole area. She kept her footsteps quiet as she approached a clearing, she had on a long black cloak that helped her blend into the trees. In the clearing sat a woman playing a flute on a stump.
She had long jet-black hair with deep blue skin, she had long pointed ears and scales covering her skin. A long lavish soft pink dress draped over her. Echo approached her carefully and watched her. The woman turns to her and smiles “hello little one. Why, you've grown so much” she had a beautiful, calm voice. Echo jumps and smiles “I knew it was you, Ceto” She smiles and hugs the goddess tightly while smiling. The goddess smiles and pets her “I can feel you, whenever you're here I can feel your presence” Echo says with a smile, though the goddess thought for a moment “That's strange, no one else can, can they?” Echo shakes her head “Mommy says it's all imaginary” She whimpers a bit.
The goddess smiles softly and dresses her with magic into the same dress the goddess had on “here you are little goddess” she smiles and pats her head. Then hands her a white crystal bow “You will need this…” there was a weary look on the goddesses face as Echo tilted her head “What? Why?” The goddess kisses her forehead and leaves a glowing white symbol “You will know in time” she says before turning into water and disappearing.
Echo sits there dumbfounded as she clutches the bow in her hands and stairs at the ground. A woman runs up to Echo, she seems panicked as she grabs her “Princess Echo where did you go?! Your mother is wor-” she notices what Echo was dressed in and holding “How do you have the goddesses bow and ceremonial dress?!” She grabbed Echos shoulders and seemed extremely panicked “I saw her. The goddess.”
The woman pauses for a moment “We need to see the queen” she takes Echos hand and pulls her along through the forest, though Echo ends up guiding them to the edge of the large living island. Annette sighs “Alright, now where is your bro– Quincey! Get over here!” She sighs as a taller boy with light lavender hair and deep blue skin walks over. He looks at her with crystal white eyes “Hello Annette, there is no need to be mean.” He kisses her hand gently and she blushes “You can’t smooth talk your way out of this young man.”

He chuckles and sighs, he has a smooth deep voice and looks about 18. “Hey, it was worth a try.” Annette rolled her eyes, she had deep green hair that was wavy with light green skin and crystal blue eyes that looked like stained glass. Echo giggles “There's mommy!” She points to a woman with long lavender hair and pure white skin. She had on a long gold dress that was open at the front with a black crown and black pearl jewelry.
The queen looked to Quincey and Annette, then Echo. Her focus stayed on Echo as her walk quickened and she took her daughter to the side “How did you get that?” She says looking to the bow and dress. Echo smiles “The goddess gave it to me mommy” She looks up at her mother and holds the bow close. “Queen Nexus, we need to get going.” Annette cuts in as Queen Nexus looks around anxiously and nods slowly “Lets go, keep Echo hidden.” Annette nods and places a black coat over echo long enough to hide the bow and dress.
Quincey jumps into the water and his clothes dissolve; his legs fuse together and his skeletal structure from the waist down changes into more of a fish as he swims through the water. Gills on his neck and torso form as extra fins form on his forearms and back with scales. Annette follows in with Echo, Scales covering the chest and a second protective clear eyelid forming around their eyes.
When Echo got in, her tail had more fins that flowed in the water with mesmerizing, beautiful patterns. Her mother had the same thing. Queen Nexus kept Echo next to her in a very protective manner as Annette and Quincey kept to her sides. Echo was confused but went with it as they swam to the bottom of the ocean. There was a large castle carved out of an underwater mountain.
The area was so deep that light couldn't reach the bottom. The seafolks hair glowed along with their scales and fauna in the area. They had glowing swarms of animals swim around while the castle was lit by glowing ore. The royal family and maid were met with guards, the area was under high protection, more than normal due to it being Echos birthday. They swam straight to a large cathedral-like office as Queen Nexus sits down and starts looking through records.
“Is this who you saw?” Queen Nexus says as she opens a scroll, inside it was a painting of the goddess Ceto. Her long jet black hair tied into a fishtail braid, she had on the same dress she had given to Echo, with a large black crown and black pearl jewelry. She had a loving smile that filled anyone who looked at the painting with love and admiration. Echo nods “Yes, that's exactly who I saw.” Quincey looks between the painting and Echo “They look scarily alike.” He points out as Annette makes the connection as well.
Queen Nexus sighs as she looks to Echo “I suppose since you've been in contact with Ceto, that means the prophecy is true.”
