Both Quincey and Echo tilt their heads, though Quincey speaks up “What prophecy?” Queen Nexus sighs and rubs her temples, very visibly stressed. Annette excuses herself from the room while Echo walks to her mother and places a gentle hand on her shoulder. Queen Nexus jumps a bit, visibly shaken like she just snapped out of a trance.
Echo jumps in response to her mother and looks at a scroll on her desk, Quincey looks as well, and all three of them look visibly shaken. On the scroll was written “In three thousand years from my disappearance, will be born a direct descendant from I, Ceto. This decedent will have to fight a war on our home against ravagers that seek to strip this place to the core of all materials. She alone will have to win this fight. Sacrifices will have to be made.” On the scroll was a painting of what looked like an older Echo standing atop a mountain of bodies with her bow in hand.
Quincey pauses for a moment then shakes his head “No… That's not possible, I should be the one going to war, not my little sister!” he slams his fist down on the table and growls as his mother looked like she was going to pass out. “I thought we had a few more years… I thought… I thought we had more preparation time…” Echo tilts her head a bit “Mommy what is War? And why am I standing on top of a bunch of sleeping people?” Quinceys stomach dropped as he had to brace himself on the desk, he couldn't fathom the idea of his sister killing.
Echo looks up to her mom and hugs her tightly as a man swims in quickly, “Queen Nexus! Queen Nexus!” The man ended up swimming so fast he couldn't stop as he crashed into the desk. Quincey holds in laughter as Queen Nexus doesn't seem amused. “What is it?” she sits up as Echo swims to her brother “A strange metal fish has crashed into the second tower!” he says as a loud explosion sounds off in the near vicinity. Quincey immediately takes off out the door as Echo looks terrified. Queen Nexus takes her hand and hides her under the desk, then swims to the crash site as well.
Quincey and Queen Nexus looked upon the large metal fish like creature steaming and boiling the water around it with horror. Quincey grabs a large trident that was easily six feet long with large prongs that looked like they were carved from bones. He swims to the fish-like creature and pokes it with his trident. A hatch opens and reveals a man with golden skin, yellow hair, gear eyes, and lines going through his skin. He also had a large spike going through the front window and him, pinning him to the chair with a terrified look permanently plastered on his face. Black, thick oil like blood leaked out of him and into the water, making Quincey and Queen Nexus plug their nose and close their gills so they didn't breathe the strange liquid in.

Echo was shaking as she held her bow tightly to her chest. A soft knock came from on top of the desk, she covers her mouth as an unfamiliar voice speaks “I know you're there little one…. I can feel you shaking.” The man says as he scrapes his nails against the top of the desk, making a screeching noise ring through the room. Echo whimpers and covers her ears as she slowly swims out the desk, shaking hard as she looks up to him. She didn't know what was going on, she had never seen anyone like him before. This man had maroon hair with bronze skin and bright gold gears for eyes, he smirked with a devilish grin “I think I’ve hit the jackpot you'll fetch quite the price-'' he gets cut off by a spear going through his chest, he stumbles a bit in his weighted shoes and turns around, face to face with Annette.
“You dare threaten the princess?” he pulls the spear out his chest and coughs up a bit of the black oily blood as some leaked through the hole in his chest. He growls “You will pay for that you bitch!” He grabs her throat and starts to choke her out. Echo grabs the bow and lifts it “Let her go! Or else I will take care of you myself!” she yells as he turns to her with Annette's throat in his hand “And whatcha gonna do bout that sweetie? You don't have any arrows. And I doubt you even know where my core is.'' He smiles like he won, but when Echo pulls the bowstring back a glowing blue crystal forms. The man couldn’t register what was happening fast enough as Echo released the arrow, striking him in the eye. He drops Annette as he screams in pain and holds his eye “Why you little bitch I'll kill you for this!” He says as he pulls out a strange orb, as soon as Quincey and Queen Nexus swim in he throws it at the ground and he disappears.
Queen Nexus darts to her daughter, who was in shock, clutching the bow in her hand with a death grip. As soon as Queen Nexus touches her, Echo collapses into her arms and feints. Quincey darted to Annette and held her close, helping her up and softly kissing on her neck, the kiss glowed and the bruises that were once there disappeared. “Are you alright Annette?” he asks as he holds her, she sighs “I tried to stop him… but that thing moved even though I swear I hit its heart.” She says as she holds onto him for support. Queen Nexus sighs “We will have a doctor do an autopsy on the other one that was left…” She says trailing off, then looking to Echo in her arms “It has begun. The war. It has started.”
