Prolonged Life is rather modest and mundane for a Dragon. Most of the time; we plunder treasures, defeat other stronger dragons, copulate with strong dragonesses, protect our eggs and then repeat the cycle once our cuties are strong enough to leave the cave, more often than not... with a different dragoness.
When our vanity has been sated enough, we sleep… when there are no dragons to defeat, treasures to plunder or female dragonesses to impregnate; we sleep. For hundreds of years, thousands of years or more. Hoping that by the end of our slumber there will be new treasures to plunder, new dragons to defeat and new females to impregnate.
The life of a Dragon is mundane indeed. But the life of a Primordial Dragon God such as myself is even more so.
Once an insurmountable peak has been attained, things begin to change.
I lay comfortably on one of my hundreds of treasure stoves; my eyes finally opened. How many years has it been I never know after each slumber... but it is usually more than a thousand years.
Different from other dragons, existences such as myself face a great hurdle that others might consider hubristic and downright presumptuous.
'There are no treasures to plunder, all treasures in the multiverse belong to me already'.
'There are no dragons to defeat… the only dragons that can face me… are immortal'.
'There are no dragonesses to impregnate… no dragoness is strong enough to hold my seed and make it sprout'.
My nigh-life is stagnant and I'm sure after a million years, nothing is going to change, therefore... I slumber.
The immense planet of Goldstein, the Treasure Stove of the Helius Multiverse, is my home; those outsides- in the Primal Universe- call it 'Cursed Planet'... the planet is not the curse, the curse is me.
In order to stop those filthy mortals from stealing my treasures, I release my aura freely which ends up turning everything in a several-million kilometres radius, into gold. They call it 'gold corrosion'.
Do not be mistaken, in this multiverse gold is still one of the purest forms of materials, one of the most valuable if not the most valuable. Those mortals use it as an exchange token due to its rarity and also to increase their strength, as a 'power catalyst'.
I have lived for a hundred thousand years or so, forgot to count. For Dragon standards; it is neither young nor old. But one could say that compared to the other Dragon Gods; I'm the youngest... a genius so to say. After me, the youngest would be [Hallow Crush, Primordial Dragon God of Destruction] a little more than a million years of age.
As for the oldest… that would be Destiny of Primordial Fate with more than three trillion years. And the hag still dares request my courtship.
'What did you say?!'
'Nothing'.
I ignored her continuing ramblings and switched positions lazily within my cosy cave. They're always speaking with one another and I'm the only one that doesn't usually involve himself.
More than twenty thousand years ago, when I was yet to become a Primordial and even a God, I was nothing more than a lowly Dragon King - having inherited my father's fallen Kingdom. Thanks to Destiny's support in my endeavour I defeated the God of Death in the Primal Realm and plundered the primal spark. An unyielding treasure that allowed entities to attain the Primal Status with a single law. For reasons I'd rather not explain, I ascended to Godhood... my law of choice: Primordial Gold.

That was more than twenty thousand years ago… and since then, nothing interesting has happened except for me attaining the mockery of the Godly community of Helius, they couldn't do anything to defeat me, but they would do everything to criticize my decision.
'Gold' is a material mundane concept in the face of the other higher laws belonging to the other primordials.
One of those great criticises who turned their back on me was precisely the person I loved and trusted the most, the one that assisted me in attaining my current strength.
Destiny.
'They would never understand' I sighed, ignoring her voice in my mind, the touch her 'Fate' upon my 'Gold'.
...
My treasure realm used to be my planet of origin and my father's Kingdom... I changed its name to Goldstein since my entire lineage perished; only I remained. Attaining Godhood changed my whole body from the most primal cell, gone was the Haze Dynasty and from then on… I was Golden-Haze.
Richter Magnanimous Golden-Haze, The Golden Dragon God.
'Are you done talking to yourself?' She said, a voice so sweet and juvenile that I almost couldn't believe it belonged to that hag.
'I'll seriously leave my pond just to slap you, Richter...'
'How long has it been since I fell into a slumber, Destiny?' I yawned.
'A thousand years, two months, twenty minutes, eleven… twelve seconds~'
'I see…' I yawned again, forsaking the obsessive tonality with which she spoke those words.
'Hey, Richter... when are you-' She began.
Since I obtained the answer that I needed… I ignored the hag again and went back to sleep, a few more thousand years will do.
'You!-'
Several waves of mocking laughter resonated in my mind, some of them mocked her but a single one growled in jealousy, I recognised that bastard immediately. As much as I wanted to… I couldn't completely ignore them.
We're the rulers of this multiverse, I can't ignore their primordial essences resonating with mine.
As I was saying.
In this multiverse and my whole existence, there are only two things I'm proud of… one is my treasure realm, the only place in the multiverse where 90% of the wealth is concentrated... the other 10% it also belongs to me, but I need to leave something for those mortals... or those primordial cunts won't be happy.
The other and my greatest pride… is my son, Horlein Imperial Golden-Haze. But I haven't known his location ever since he left my cave nineteen thousand years ago, he must be faring well... he obtained the best genes from his mother and me, it wouldn't be a surprise if he's the current ruler of the Primal Realm.
'You won't visit your old man, huh? do you still hate me?' I sighed, repressing useless memories... I could know where he is; as a powerful Dragon he must have treasures, which must include gold by default... every single particle of gold in the multiverse is connected to me and can be manipulated by me.
'But if that boy doesn't wish to see his old man, who am I to interfere?'.
I have more things to be worried about; like protecting my treasures for example... those bastards from the Primal Universe won't let me be.
They don't even need to go deep, those bastards will try to destroy the surface and take my gold, preposterous… only if they're audacious enough to stay until they manage to plunder a speck of dust before they -quite ironically- become a part of my treasure by transforming into gold.
Very few dare to take the risk, but this multiverse is filled with challengers and daredevils.
As I remained in position for my next slumber, my nose wrinkled slightly in discomfort, smelling something.
Something that wasn't gold, but the existence of that thing was so infimal, that I just ignored it, it would just turn into gold in a few minutes.
...
Seconds turned into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days... and that speck of dust had yet to turn into gold!
'What is that thing?' I frowned profusely, raising my head slightly after a thousand years. This wasn't normal.
Just in time, I felt them through my sense… a group of gryphons, a rare race from the City of Magnolia I assume. They come often as they have a spell that allows them to delay my corrosion… not prevent it -unlike this speck of dust that I was sensing, just delay it.
They also happened to land close to where that thing was.
'I might as well look at what this thing is and also... fetch me some nice Gryphon Golden Status... they usually manage to flee just in time, not again~'
Lying myself down, my tail shifted slightly as I closed my eyes. I didn't even need to attend personally.
An avatar would do.
