Silence settled between Crush and his mate in which she was the first one to leave her train of thought, whatever she was thinking, only she knew.
"The Fort of Ascension is going to begin in the next century" Celestine declared, leaving Crush to think deeply about his subject, particularly about his daughters.
The fort of Ascension was a competition that took place in the Primal Realm every ten thousand years, in this competition the strongest entourages were placed together to fight. The winner, would get the favour of the gods!
The requirements were simple, not anyone with Godhood was allowed to participate. The strongest contestants were usually Demigods and Dragon Emperors.
Fairies, elves, divas, demons... as long as they believed themselves strong enough to survive, they were allowed in the event. The prizes ranged depending on the magnitude of the event.
"What do you think the prize will be this time? were you told?" Celestine asked inquisitively.
"I don't know... Destiny has yet to contact me about this matter, but according to the myths, half a billion years ago; the Primordial of Life, Akasha. Obtained her Primal Spark during the Fort Ascension... whether this is true or not, I have no idea" There were things that even he didn't know and didn't ask either.
It was taboo for primordials to reveal to one another how they ascended, they tended to compare themselves... for one, it was a limited amount of them that were aware of how he acquired his Primal Spark, he'd become the shame of the godly community if they were to know that it was sold to him by one of his goons.
"Maine and Aubrey want to participate, but I don't think they're strong enough, what should we do?" The Dragoness asked with concern, she was talking about their daughters, a pair of Dragon Queens with mere thousand and two thousand years old, they were quite talented... but she has seen the Fort Ascension and the strength of a Dragon Queen is not one that gives many possibilities.
Even then, those two inherited their father's destruction and also her purple lightning.
"Why wouldn't they be allowed? the Ascension is for the younger generations to partake in... I'd be disappointed if they don't participate and attain first place at the very least" Crush scoffed, the competition was usually fierce and the winners would most of the time be either primordial disciples or children of the primordials.
There were dark horses as exceptions. An individual was only allowed to participate in Fort Ascension once in their lifetime. And the most prominent dark horses of the last millennium were known to everyone.
They mercilessly defeat every entourage, claiming the top.

Richter Haze & Monique Empyrean... the two then received favour from the Primordial of Fate and set a precedent for countless young talents from all over the universe.
That was the reason why this time around, there was a favourite candidate.
Horlein Golden-Haze, a Dragon Emperor and the son of those two monsters, Monique and Richter.
"Is that bastard's son going to participate?" He asked with a growl, unwilling to follow along the vicious cycle, he didn't manage to defeat Furious Haze, he lost against Richter once... Crush refused to take his wrath on the third generation, Horlein, he'd leave his daughters to defeat that bastard... while he still had breath in this world, his target would be Richter.
"I don't know... Horlein Golden-Haze has been out of scope for a long time" Celestine spoke profoundly, looking to the skies mysteriously.
"Have you been looking for him?" Crush growled, a little irritated and already making up stories in his mind.
*RUMBLE!!*
"I haven't... don't interrogate me, Hallow" Celestine got upset and growled back, both dragons flapped their wings several times menacingly before they calmed down.
"Hmph!" The Dragon God fell back on his peak, unwilling to talk any longer.
The female, realising that she irritated her mate, sighed before taking flight and landing on his back softly.
"Don't be upset..."
"..."
"Didn't we swear that we would destroy him together, dear? I have been looking for that brat Horlein because I want to kill him with my own claws!" Unprecencted killing intent left her body without a target in particular or better said... the target wasn't here.
Crush merely frowned before calming down.
"What do you know of Richter?" She asked.
"He's still hidden like a rat in his treasury realm, but something changed".
"Huh?"
"Apparently he has a friend now. I can't squeeze my senses in the treasury realm, but Destiny's words slipped in the primordial channel mentioning a 'companion', hmph! as if anyone would ever want to be with that greedy bastard" Crush mocked, the Golden Dragon God was alone in that big treasury for a reason, in the rest of the universe he was labelled as nothing more but a mindless tyrant.
"... companion" Celestine's words trailed as the killing intent began to pour out again, as if she found a target for it.
Crush gauged his mate's reaction before asking, "Have you got a plan?"
"Not yet, you?"
"What plan could I possibly have? the primordial council doesn't allow us to approach one another. Even if I want to tear him to shreds, all we can do is insult each other aimlessly, that's all that bastard can do... run his mouth off.
"And what if... what if he leaves the treasury realm?" She asked tentatively.
"It didn't happen for the last thousands of years, why would he leave it now?" Crush tilted his eyebrows, knowing Richter how he knows him, the bastard won't be leaving his cave soon.
"Just a tentative case... suppose it happened, what can we do?"
"Hehe~ with enough time, I can destroy that accursed planet. That gold is coated with his aura, it won't be easy to destroy but if he's not there... with enough time I can do it" just thinking about it was giving him goosebumps.
"I see" Celestine's eyes shone for a moment before her words trailed in consideration.
"What are you thinking?"
"I think our daughters could do a splendid job this time around, dear~"
The dragoness flapped her wings enthusiastically, flying away from her mate's peak into the horizon, Crush saw how she transformed into a purple lightning that flapped away creating a lightning gate and entering it, leaving the disruptive universe.
Crush frowned deeply before slumping back down, only for another voice to resonate beside him.
When he opened his eyes a dragon made out of breeze was sitting proudly on the peak where Celestine had been a moment prior, if not for the primordial aura exuding from her, he wouldn't have been unable to perceive her.
Her silhouette was like a could in the shape of a dragon with two shining blue eyes.
"Hallow..."
"Ether..."
